My son has a kid's fire 7 (12th gen). It's running Fire OS 8.3.3.0. How do I upload his pictures to Amazon Photos? There's no longer an option to backup and now Amazon Photos isn't an app on the tablet, just a webpage. It was replaced with a gallery. I just want to be able to save pictures he takes. Does anyone know how to do this??

Does someone know how to unlock kindle hdx 7 (3rd generation) bootloader? Because i want to put TWRP but gives an error to unlock the bootloader. I tried with platform tools i unlocked It. but same error for me not working. How i can unlock the bootloader?

Upgraded Kindle HD 10 to Max 11. Settings were set up the same way as far as I could tell. However now it asks me for parent password to get into kids mode every time the battery dies, it reboots, or otherwise sits for a while.

The original functionality is that I pretty much never needed the parent pin unless I wanted to make a setting change or needed to use the adult account.

How do I get rid of this?

i am stuck with my kids tablet. It's a Fire HD 8 with the most recent FireOS update. WIth the Fire Toolbox i have already added the Play Store and i also tried sideloading the YT Kids app on the kids profile but it's not showing up. How can i add this already installed app to the kids profile?

I think I just missed out on good deals on the newer HD8. Anyone have any idea when I can expect another sale on the tablet?

I just got my device today and I really want Snapchat but Snapchat for web page isn't working, it goes to the Snapchat for web welcome page and doesn't allow me to see my messages or account at all. I tried to use Google play to download it onto the device but it says "no eligible devices."

I'm reading with my Fire HD 8. The paperwhite was too small (I am getting older and my eyes aren't what they were...3-4 sentences on each page is a pain, so I got the Fire HD 8). The case, however, opens with the tablet on the right and the cover on the left (as usual), but the power button is on the bottom right and I hit it a lot while reading. I can flip the tablet upside down no problem but it's uncomfortable with the case cover. I end up just keeping it folded all the way back. I have to read this book for a class (I'm 45, but went back to college). Or is there a case that has a cover for the power button to keep it from being depressed?

I have a kindle fire HDX running FireOS 4.5.5.3. I’d like to make this brick somewhat useful by downloading a few simple apps that my son would like. I’ve managed to side load google play but every time I try and open it the screen just goes dark and then it goes back to the Home Screen.

I’m assuming I grabbed the wrong APKs. Wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of the correct APKs for this situation?

Purchased two Fire Tablets and have had them in use for about a year as controllers of our house audio system. One could not find a worse made product. The software is buggy, the interface is slow to respond and the overall frustration of daily use has left us no other option than to simply throw both tablets in a drawer and stop using them. I'm chalking the purchases up to a failure of judgement on my part. Anyone contemplating a Fire tablet should rethink and look for a better option.

The reason I ask is because mine went off when I plugged in a usb c dock that has a light right at where the usb port meets the device. Is the water detection optical? my dock was dry as a bone, and so were my hands and tablet.

So the old tablet that I had was given to me like all the way back in 2013 and it was lost or stolen recently. So luckily everything was like backed up and I just got a new one. I would like to know how I can restore the data (photos, notes, etc..) that was backed up from the old tablet to the new one? And you know how like when you register to a tablet they give these tablets like random emails. Does that mean that I have to sign into the email from the old tablet email or my Amazon account? I’m not familiar with Amazon like that, but I know I backed up everything.

Fire HD 10 from Amazon. Repeatedly havibg error when charging with cord. was about to give up when i purchased wireless charging stand. it still gave this error but it did charge it. tried cord and multiple other cords and having same issue. bought in June 2023 so not sure if covered.

I've recently reinstalled Fire Toolbox on my Kindle Fire 7 - after a factory refresh - and after sorting it all out to how I want it, I'm finding it difficult working out how to put Android app links on the main screen. App like Play Store and Play Books, seem to stay on the screen as "recently used", but if I use Moon Reader Pro, that doesn't. The only way I seem to be able to access said app, is to go to the Play Store and open the app via that.

Is there any way I can place apps onto the Amazon Fire main screen?

To my abject horror, this Spanish for Beginner's app recently taught my 7 year old to tell a woman she's sexy as a compliment. I reported the app and I want to block it, but for whatever reason I can't see it in the listed content under parental controls. I can see it as a recently used app, but if i go to manage content -> search amazon kids + subscription -> search, it won't come up. I've tried a number of variations on the name, as well as the manufactuer of the name but it doesn't appear.

I just bought a new case for my kindle fire 7 it has an automatic shut off feature with a magnet. Unfortunately when I open the case and fold it on the other side it also turns the kindle off. Is there any way to fix this because right now I can't hold my kindle and read with the case on.

Some apps I install (not system apps) the files and location of the app seem to disappear. Is there and installer that shows where the files are being installed? Is there a way to find them? I am installing a game that has a mod and I can’t add the mod if I don’t know where the game is. Thank you.

When I saw how long the list was I decided to chat with Amazon customer support. The support rep said that sometimes the licensing deals run out and there is nothing they can do. Is that correct? Have other people experienced this? Why is that not a bigger deal that one day an app can just vanish and there's nothing you can do about it?

Hello. Trying to help my boyfriend’s parents save the pictures from their toddlers kindle (Fire HD 8 10th generation). Have it connected to my pc but when I open the files, there’s nothing inside of them. I have changed the setting from charging to transferring and still nothing, and I have also tried multiple different cables. Is there any way to transfer files from the kindle to my pc without a USB cable? Thanks. I hope I did the flair right, I’m tech illiterate

A couple months ago video's of Ryan's world started showing on my child's Amazon Kids+ subscription. I cannot find these newer videos in the Parent Dashboard Amazon Kid+ Subscription Content to block them individually. None of the public instructions to block his content is working.
Is anyone else having this problem, and is there a solution?
