Hello,
I'm planning to visit Seychelles with my wife for the first time next year, so I'm researching flights to get the best possible deal. We intend to spend 10 days in Praslin and La Digue. Our plan is to fly from Paris via Dubai with Emirates, landing in Mahé at 7 am on a Sunday. What time should I book the Air Seychelles flight to Praslin? We will need to clear immigration (we are traveling on French passports so no visa is required), retrieve our luggage, exit arrivals, proceed to departures, check in our luggage with Air Seychelles, pass through security, and possibly immigration again. If we miss our flight, does Air Seychelles put you on the next available flight free of charge? Since these would be separate tickets from our international flight, I am sure they are not obligated to do so.
The same question applies when we return to Mahé. Our flight home departs at 23:50. What time should we depart from Praslin to allow enough time to repeat the process in reverse order?
Any jobs for ex pats, I'm currently working in Seychelles. My GOP is going to end in may but I like here, so I want to join a Seychelles owned company or shop.
HEY EVERYONE!
I AM LOOKING FOR LUXURY CAR RENTAL IN SEYCHELLES IF SOMEONE CAN HELP IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED 🫶🌸

Hi!
I'm planning to visit this beautiful country in August (9 - 17) and i can't decide if it a good idea... I read and watch videos about the weather in August and there are totally different opinions. Some say I shouldn't go in August and the other says it's a good time to visit... The apartment is near to Anse Soleil and gonna grab a rental car so i am mobile if this side of the island don't work out :) The main things we are looking for: swimming, snorkeling, just chill out and eventually hiking. I would like some from input from you who already were there in August/live there. Thanks!
Calling all critical thinkers and those with special interests!
I have made it a mission of mine to be in every reddit sub for every nation on the earth (or at least the ones in english).
I am trying to gauge interest in any who wish to bring their passion and knowledge in a category to join a groupchat (on the dinosaur of a platform known as Facebook).
What im looking for and why:
My whole life ive been interested in different countries and cultures and the idea of having an 18+ groupchat in which many nations have a bit of representation its a dream come true. Id love to have people who are educated and capable of deep discussion about various topics.
Criteria
Have a special interest in any field politics, philosphy, history, heck even those proficient in film music or theatre.
You can take a joke. Its a fairly on task group chat however id say the only stuff that is censored as far as words go is any words pertaining to race or explicitly sexual material.
You are respectful of different religions. The group chat is very commonly excercising various different belief standpoints and jokes as long as they are in good taste are perfectly acceptable
What to expect:
Debates: these can range in a variety of topics from politics to history to science. And they can border on "heated" but at the end we are all just trying to learn and any oversteps will result in bans after a warning if course
Varied religious backgrounds id say the group is about 65% Christian 35% atheist but everyone in there is comfortable with sharing details about their religion free of ridicule aside from the lighthearted jokes. We have also recently added some others majority of which are Muslim.
The group right now is majorly american but there has been a fair bit of canadians that have joined and left over the three years the groupchat has been around. We recently got some members Azerbaijan, Bahrain, and Germany
Right now we have experts in the following categories
Cryptocurrency TV Shows and Pop culture Philosophy American Law World History Military History Video Game History Meteorology
The group is probably like 45% autistics with special interests so we pride ourselves on knowing our craft.
Each month I post news articles from every nation's internet news source in alphabetical order usually a letter a day. And we monitor and disccus the conflicts happening abroad
The group is 100% male which wasnt even by design thats just how its gone so far but there isnt a gender requirement one way or the other.
The donts:
No excessive meme spam. I tend to allow discussions with GIFS but depending on how many join the chat, theres no need for excessive memes
No posting sexual or graphic material some mems walk the line but never cross it.
No racial slurs
The creator of the GC is the final authority on everything
The point of the GC is to engage and have fun. If somebody is going a month without at least reading the posts then you shouldnt have joined in the first place silly! Inactives are often removed after one month.
Lets educate eachother! The goal is to increase comradery and learm about eachother cultures.
As of right now im wanting natives to whatever nation I post this in (as I intend to copy and paste) and depending on traction Im going to try and invite either the first people who respond or the most educated.
If you want to leave a rude comment or something about how you have better things to do go ahead! This is reddit after all!
But at least for the sake of being entertaining lets avoid repeats so far ive heard
Incelfest
Sausagefest
Pretentious
Arrogant
Red pills
Sounds like Hell
Remember we are looking for people who want to make friends and debate ideas not people who think themselves witty comedians.
How common are ATMs on Seychelles? I want to avoid having a lot of cash.

Hey guys! I’m overwhelmed with trying to decide where to stay/ visit. We only have 4 nights allocated for all of Seychelles.
My travel agent has shown me Constance Lemuria and Raffles on Praslin.
My dream is to see Anse Source d’Argent so she has a day trip booked for La Digue. However I want to be able to ride bikes and see all the other beaches. I saw Anse Marron and Anse cocos is a must. And the viewpoint Nid d’Aigle. I feel like it’s not possible to do all that in a day?
For Praslin- Anse Lazio, Vallee de Mai, and Anse Volbert looked like the places to see. But maybe curieuse island too? And chill out tapas seemed fun.
Is it possible to visit everything or will it be more enjoyable to just hang out and relax? Six Senses looked really amazing but you will have to travel to Praslin and La Digue which seems to take more time?
Someone help me plan the perfect trip with such a short amount of time 🙊
*edit out north island I thought it was 6k total not 6k per night 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Can anyone recommend a hotel with late night check in reasonably close to SEZ? My flight lands at 0215
Is there anywhere in Victoria that I can buy watershoes (not flip flops) to navigate any rocky or sharp entrance to the seawater? Ideally comfortable and light
Starting from the heavenly beaches then to the kindest and most Beautiful People then the delicious Food. Seychelles has it All. my Mother and Me never felt uncomfortable around the Men and even the sketchy looking inviduals. Never actually felt safer.. Deff recommend this beautiful Nation to visit it once in your Life!
I’m headed to club med Seychelles in a few months and am wondering what specific excursions they have connected to the resort. (Yes I know I can book other things privately but I’m looking for the ones that are specifically connected with club med.) Their app that’s supposed to have everything you need to know doesn’t include that. Thanks!
To anyone on the islands right now, how bad is it?
I saw about 10-15 guys digging in the parking lot near Beau Vallon at high tide. I wonder, does anyone know what they were looking for?
I heard a song on the radio while driving and I didn’t manage to shazam it..the chorus was “I am blessed by him”. What is the name of the artist and the song?
Thanks!
Hello, my husband and I are planning a trip to Tanzania and Seychelles in 2025. As of now we’re thinking 5 days in Praslin (including day trips to La Digue), 5 days in FS Desroches, and 1-2 days in Mahe before flying out to Dubai. Is 5 days in Desroches too much or just right? Also how much are flights to/from Desroches and Mahe? We’ve been able to find some pricing information on helicopters but flights have been trickier. Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone,
My boyfriend and I are planning to visit the Seychelles 🇸🇨 in July and I’ve been researching visas etc this evening.
I have a couple of questions which I was wondering if anyone who has visited can help me with.
We are visiting for 7 nights in total. Our planned itinerary was staying the first night on Mahé, travelling to Praslin by ferry and staying there for 3 nights (plus visiting La Digue), and back to Mahé for the remaining 3 nights. It was arranged this way due to our flights coming in later in the evening.
Thank you all in advance for reading this ☺️
Hi, we are a couple travelling to Seychelles this month
The itinerary is:
So, what’s the best way to travel around Seychelles, taxi or car rental? We need to go from airport to hotel, then from hotel to the port, taking ferries between islands, then the port to hotel…
From my understanding, bus doesn’t allow luggage, so it is not an option, isn’t it
Does anyone have any recommendations for tour operators for a day trip for Curieuse Island and St Pierre? Preferably one that will pick up from a hotel in Praslin?
We are soon traveling to the Seychelles. We have five full days on Mahé and three full days on Praslin. I am not counting arrival/departure days and the day we travel from Mahé to Praslin (ferry).
We plan a day trip from Praslin to Curieuse, which leaves us with two days. We will have a car to explore sites on Praslin.
My question is: would you spend one of those days on a day trip to La Digue? Or maybe save it for a hypothetical future trip?
Hi all,
I wish to get in touch with someone travelling from Seychelles to India. I have an inquiry about this particular trip.
Hey guys,
Travelling to Mahe tomorrow for the first time solo, 28M from Dubai. Staying in the south, if anyone is interested to meet up for drinks or to explore. Here until Friday will plan to do 1 day at la digue otherwise schedule is open.
Hi Community,
I am planning a trip to Seychelles and we are looking at laïla Resort as our stay option in Mahe? Any feedback will be appreciated.
We were also keen on Canopy by Hilton but haven't heard good reviews about the beach from our friends who were there last week.
Again, your reviews are appreciated!
Thanks!
We are travelling in two days. So just wanted to know regarding weather over there as it’s showing rainy forecast for 1-2 days. Thank you.
We will have our suitcases with us, coming from Praslin. The last ferry is at 5pm and our flights only at 11pm so we have around 5 hours to kill in or around Victoria. Any great dinner spots or things we could do before we fly? Thanks!
