Has anyone heard of them or had experience with them? They are based in The Netherlands.

Bought an antique stool from them through Etsy. It was supposed to have a certificate of authenticity. Turns out the "certificate" was just a paper written and signed by the seller. Is that normal?
I received this figure from a coworker who was looking to get rid of it. All she said is that it was from her uncle's collection and she wanted it out of her house. Approximately 38 inches high and 14 inches wide at the widest point of the head. I found a nearly identical one on RoGallery, but am having trouble contacting them for further info. The figure they have is listed as funerary and Bakota Gabun, which I assume might be a culture group within the Kota of modern day Gabon? I'd be very grateful for any more info if anyone has any ideas.
A friend of mine purchased this hand held "mask". We both think it's African but we're not sure. Does anyone recognize anything about it? It was purchased in an antique store in Georgia, USA.
I know these masks are not legitimate, but I think they're better than anything you'll find in a decor store and I'm satisfied with them. They're nice to look at it and it still doesn't take away that they're aer. Masks portray the Bamana style.
Can someone please help me identity who made this piece? I found it at a garage sale and really love it. The bottom has a tag that says ‘Mukwa’ which from google says is a type of wood. Any help would be really appreciated thank you!
Bought this for around 200$ at a peddlers mall—about a 1.5ft tall. The tag claims it to be from the Congo Mbaka tribe, although I can find nothing similar from that culture online.
Mainly interested to know if this identification is plausible and what a statue like this was originally used for.
I have to create a presentation re-creating the style and type of art that is significant to certain continents and one of which was Africa. From my understanding one the more iconic types of art were their Religious masks. The problem here being I don't if it'd be offensive to re-create one even if it's for educational purposes. I'd be appreciative to hear anyone elses thoughts on the matter.
Hi all - Thanks in advance for your help. This helmet was given to me 15 years ago in Tanzania by a villager in the south as a thank you for a complicated favor. I'm hoping it's just tourist market/airport art crap and I can throw it out, but if it's not, I want to be more respectful and find it a good home.
Does anyone have any insights? I have no clue where to start.
Hey guys! My grandma asked me to help get some information on this mask. I know very little about masks and I assumed it was African so thought I'd start here. Anyone know what continent, region, tribe it could be from? Thank you!
Benin history, religion, and political structure are brought to life every year in a series of palace rituals intended to purify the kingdom and renew the spiritual powers of the king, the oba. Many of these vivid and solemn rites were introduced by individual obas in order to commemorate events in their reigns and to promote important principles in the ideology of divine kingship. At these palace festivals, the powers of the king, the roles of the various chiefs and titleholders, and the relationships between them are displayed for all to see. The arts play an important role in these rituals. The king and other participants wear their most lavish ceremonial costumes, consisting of vast quantities of costly imported coral beads, luxurious textiles, and ornaments made of gleaming brass and creamy ivory. This ornament in the shape of a man's face was part of such a costume, and was meant to be worn around the waist.

I recently moved into a new apartment with my partner who is Nigerian. We want to make an art gallery wall and interested in buying painting prints from a Nigerian born artist. We are looking for art that reminds her of home, lots of colors, yellow buses, markets, ect If you have any recommendations of Nigerian artists to check out I’d love to hear them! Big or small!
It’s in the house we just bought. I posted here because it seems like a fairly active community, but I have no idea if it’s African or not. Do you know where it’s from and any special significance it might hold?
I found this tapestry today at Goodwill. Would love to know more about the artist.
I was told by the seller that this is an antique from West Africa, image is crocodiles, and used to be used as currency. #pendant #antique #crocodile
Please can anyone identify the artist? I cannot read the name but love the picture.
