With Pinkerton receiving poor reviews when it was first released, what would’ve happened if the Green Album had been the second album after Blue instead of Pinkerton?

I’m not exactly new to weezer, but I’ve only really listened to blue and green (and some of teal, but I didn’t really enjoy it) I’m thinking about listening to Pinkerton next but i’m not too certain
