Me personally i have quite a few:
And maybe we'll get lucky and we'll both grow old /Well, I don't know/I don't know/I don't know, I hope so (Ocean Breathes Salty)
A nice heart and a white suit and a baby blue sedan/And I am doing the best that I can (Baby Blue Sedan)
I could have told you all that I love you/And in the faces you meet, you'll see the place where you'll die (Life Like Weeds)
I'm curious what y'alls are!
I got no clue🤷🏻♀️
Ive been trying to find this song for forever and someone said it sounded like modest mouse but i cant listen to all of modest mouse song so i need yall help
I really want this shirt and have been looking for it for a long time, but can't find one anywhere online still for sale (in a men's medium or anything close to that). Anybody have one they would sell or know of a place to find it?
I pretend like I don’t care, but I really wish they’d give us just a bit more “content” with the vinyls. Is it too much to ask for a fold on a double?
I started listening to Lync based off hearing about them cause of one of the Modest Mouse documentaries.
But can anyone suggest some other bands that have the same feel as the early modest mouse records?
hey this is kinda a silly question but I'm looking at buying one of the crewneck sweatshirts on the site since everything's on sale - the one with the rainbow infinity sign on the back - and there's no sizing chart or anything, I'm wondering if anyone can advise on how these fit? they don't look like a typical crew neck cause there's trim at the neck and arms that looks like it provides a tighter fit and then it looks like the waist is sort of cinched in at the bottom.
Just thought I'd share my first tattoo ever from my favorite album ever. Got this a few years ago.
I remember my dad playing "Broke" in the mornings before dropping us off at 6th grade after my parents had divorced, and now it's my favorite song of all time.
Anyone else got Modest Mouse tats? Would love some inspo for more!
we never get any major bands touring here, so has MM ever toured in new mexico before? specifically burque
The only songs I really know from them (beyond the obvious one) are Black Cadillac and Shit Luck. Excited to dive into this once we’re home!
offically i mean, but i haven’t even seen someone podcast it like other songs without an offical spotify release. it’s one of my favorite songs from my favorite album period so id like to put it on my liked songs
I kinda hear it. It definitely wasn't what I set out to do but it starts slow and atmospheric then explodes towards the end. Maybe that's what they meant
The dashboard melted
but we still had the radio
You think Isaac is a fan of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles?
I loved Mattress at the LCW tour, I feel like you either get it or you don’t. Was he playing the keys for this tour?
PS. Can’t wait to see them again, they have never sounded better in my opinion.
This is more of guitar related question, but if anybody knows or has literally any idea how they get that same tone they got in this song please let me know. Any help is appreciated! Even if it's just a suspicion. I've been in love with this song for a long time and I eventually decided to learn it, but I have yet to be able to recreate that same tone, and since its not a super popular song, I haven't been able to find much even about the song and kinda had to figure most of the more complex parts. Even though the song itself is rather simple. I know I probably won't be able to perfectly replicate it, but getting close would definitely help to satisfy this urge to perfect it.
I just like it. I call it "Isaac, if he worked at McDonald's"
Edit: I knew there were more I just couldn't remember them all! Honestly there's more than I thought, thanks everyone!
I really tried to capture the feel of the song with this project. I matched the color palette of all of the footage to the album cover art for The Moon and Antarctica. Let me know what you guys think!
I had a lot of fun making this; depending on the reception I might make more videos for the rest of the album.
‘We spun like birds on fire right down towards the residence and I I took all that I desired, even crooks have to pay the rent We swam like rats on fire right, right down the reservoir’
Art by me ~- king rat - mm
I live in AZ and had a kid recently so couldn’t travel far or I def would have. Bummed I didn’t get to see this tour. Did anyone ask Isaac about any future tour plans or has anyone heard anything? Wish I could have heard “I’ve Got it all (most)” live along with a few others. Thanks
Anybody got it? After the album there were 4 or so songs I didn't recall.
Brooklyn Steel 11.23.24 For Alicia who already heard it in Portland but just wants it again.
Hey everyone,
I remember stumbling on a live recording of a show in which Isaac starts out the concert with a rant about selling snake oil outside the venue which then leads into never ending math equation.
Any direction would be appreciated.
