Hi all! Do YOU yes YOU have any physical ozma bootlegs?
I'm talking, cassettes, minidv, vhs, betacam, dvdr and much much more.
If you do please get in contact! I'm very interested in digitizing anything ya'll might have.
Thank you!
Plans changed and can't see the concerts. I have 4 tickets total (2 for Friday, 2 for Sunday) I paid about 30 for each after taxes and website fees and such. I don't want to upcharge, I just want to make sure someone who actually cares gets these
Sunday October 27th there is a house party with some cool local acts. DM eroica_band on Instagram for address details. It should be a fun night and I’m excited to see girls soccer camp live for the first time. Hope to see some of you out there!
Recently I was banned from the discord with no prior punishments on my account from the server for something that I don't really think is ban worthy, is there any way to appeal this ban? I would understand a few day mute, but a full on permanent ban is a bit overkill.
This took me two days. Feel free to fight me about my opinions.
i dont post on reddit a lot (im terrified of redditors) so just lmk if this is too irrelevant or anything !! :)
It was fun seeing Daniel and Ryen last night. I think the room had about 35 there. Very intimate. Daniel shared that this was the first time he and Ryen had played acoustic like this and they considered it a small warm up to the 25 year RRPT shows coming up. Ozma is the band I’ve probably seen the most, I would guess at least over 15 times, so when these rare opportunities come up to hear these songs live again it’s always special. This isn’t in order and I hope I remember all the songs they played:
Denise Domino Effect Apple Trees If I Only Had A Heart No One Needs To Know Korobeiniki Baseball
They also played two songs Daniel said had never been played before. I don’t think Daniel gave a title for his but I remember the word apathy a lot in the chorus so we’ll call it Apathy. And Ryen’s, I think was called Shadow of 1,000 dreams.
Looking forward to The Troubadour shows!
Here’s a little bit of Domino Effect from lasts nights acoustic set.
Who was there!!? That shit was sick
The ones I have tried don't work.
I'm so curious about these. Apparently they consisted of songs that eventually made it to "Cuatro y Ocho" and/or "Sounds of Inaudible Trucks and Cars" but without Ron Cervera as producer. I know they've been released, but I'm just a lost media nerd. Has anyone ever heard these? The internet was in it's infancy when they put them out, so it makes sense theres no digital version in any non-official capacity, and I'm guessing there may be legal issues if the band were to make those early versions available themselves? Maybe they don't like them? Who knows, maybe they're lost now. Just wanted to ask!
This could be the start of a fun lost media rabbit hole! :D
I’d prefer december 1st but any day works tbh. I was about to buy some but i checked rn and theyre all sold out 😔 lmk if anyones willing to part with two tickets
I can see you...
how the hell did this end up in a small record store in new hampshire? i grabbed it immediately as soon as i saw it
To me “Eulogy for a Rock Band” feels like Ryan and Daniel’s final, bittersweet goodbye to Ozma. Just recently rediscovered this song and was suddenly very moved by it.
