I’ve made some beats based on old video game music that I think would work well as backing tracks. Here’s one sample:

Reach out, I’d love to hear what this sounds like with vocals.
I usually listen to Nerdcore music like FNAF songs and Stupendium and Minecraft songs and what not, but recently I started listening to Stronger than you versions (Undertale specifically) and like imagining scenarios with my own characters but now I need more action like songs, not just music by actual songs to listen to as I imagine. Any suggestions.

I'm pretty new to this, but I really haven't heard nerdcore metal artists heavier than the first and third songs on this album.

I also found the entire Super Barrio Bros. album by 8-bit bandit and dumfoundead with the help of a few friends, how ever I need to know who is the 4th rapper and the producer of track 12 NextLevel.
I'm thinking of a comedic rap album from the early 2000s, that was themed around wizardry and poking fun of lyrical-myrical type rappers. It was a group of guys and I remember it got reviewed in the Onion AV club at the time.
It's not the Workaholics album with the same theme, these guys were more straight ahead hip-hop. It didn't leave much of an impression online I can't find anything with typical searches.

I'm not affiliated, just a fan who already has all of his other vinyl releases.
I like listening to many different nerdcore artists. I tend to love a large amount of nerdcore music. However I find myself constantly thinking, “why is this a rap song?” I can admit I’m biased in the fact that I am not a big fan of most rap music. I always see songs related to characters that would be perfect as a different genre of song but they just go with rap. I was looking to see how many rock nerdcore songs there were but after searching “nerdcore rock” on YouTube, all that showed up was like one or two and then the rest were rap. I have three reasons why I think this is the case.
Rap is easier to make. Not trying to say that rap is an easy genre, but compared to something classical or country, I feel rap is just easier to make given that it’s really just about singing well and being fast.
Clickbait. Rap is a top genre if not the top genre of music, which would make sense why so many artists make nerdcore rap songs. More click and listens.
Me = dumb. Honestly, I don’t know if nerdcore truly is meant to be a sub genre of rap. Perhaps I just have been looking for the wrong thing or looking in the wrong places.
I would love any recommendations and comments on this to see what any of you all think about the trend. Maybe it could be cool to actually research this topic.
