Arcade fire is my favorite band and, imo, doing something musically that is exceptional in this particular era. Their albums are comprehensive, unified, and have a clear start to finish progression. It’s almost impossible to listen to one song independently without the songs that come before or after. Even though I grew up alongside them, I think WE is their best album. So, my question here is what are 10 non arcade fire albums that we can point to which led us to the release of WE. Where are the influences? The inputs?
Hello! Where I can watch The Reflektor Tapes online? rent or purchase? I looked on Google TV and nothing... Thank you
Hi all, I was lucky enough to see arcade fire in Nantes on this tour and at the time I was not interested in concert posters, now I would love to get my hands on one but so far am unable to find one at a decent price.
Anyone have any ideas?
Planning a playlist. Don't get biased based on commercial success. Looking for the most Arcade Fire sounding song.

you can differently hear the classical tinge in Arcade Fires music. They have sited the composers Dubbusy and Steve Reich as influences, Richard Reed Perry has released his own classical compositions (music for heart and breath) and they constantly use a host of orchestral instruments. If you like that favor here is some more music leaning in that direction.
What are your favorite live performances (with links please!) for each album tour?
Does anyone know where I can find the Record Store Day release history for Arcade Fire?
I love the Lightening and want to include it on a playlist which I will listen to on shuffle, but I don’t want the two parts to be separated. Is there a way to either download both parts as one song, or force part II to be played after part I?
What on earth am I watching? What’s the history and meaning of this video?
topic. curious if this Will Butler-created "fake band" ever released any singles/got any radio play.
Been a huge fan since 2010 and after the pitchfork article I feel like they have been essentially cancelled. Only pitchfork reported it and I am not sure whether it is all true or not… that is not the point. I am just wondering if they can go back to headlining major festivals and filling up huge arenas? I miss those times ..
Ideally your recommended show is available on YouTube (or in your private stash if you are willing to share it with a fellow fan). Love you guys. xoxo
It looks as though I can share this here, so here's the entire thing. I adore Neon Bible. My life was quite different when I first discovered it, but I'm glad to still have it now and to try and express myself through it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy. Have a gray day.🌧️
It’s looking likely that Arcade Fire will be playing U.S festivals this upcoming spring/summer with them announcing they will be at High Water. What festivals seem likely for them? Coachella? Bonnaroo? Boston Calling? Hinterland? I want to catch them at a festival this summer!
So now that it seems that a new record is in the works, what sound do we want the band to explore on it?
I have a feeling they've been working on newer material, separate to the sister material that was rumoured to be released after WE, so I reckon it may have a different sound to WE.
Personally I would love for them to go back to more of a band feel. WE, as much as I love it, lacked that feel, and I think what they do next needs to feature more of the other members, not just W and R.
I would also love to see them experiment with different sounds, genres-Reggae (I know they've touched on this with Peter Pan), Jazz, afrobeat and rock, krautrock..I wanna see them experiment again!
Thought some of you may find this interesting and if you wanna ask any questions about the place lemme know and I can see what I can do. Not sure if it is even a rentable space anymore but it sure was neat being there!
Uploading this apropos of nothing. The full song is on my YouTube, but could someone tell me if it's okay to post the link to that? Cheers, be gentle with yourselves.
I only own two Arcade Fire shirts—one from the Reflektor era and one from the Everything Now tour. This one is definitely my favorite.
I bought this shirt at one of their summer shows in 2016. I’ve worn it many times, and it’s super worn out. 🥲
What’s your favorite AF merch?
So we were watching this TV series and suddenly Age of Anxiety starts on the background
Season 2 Episode 4
Great hearing Arcade Fire on random shows
