Building a romantic playlist and I want all the love songs. 😻
For me it’s, “Floaty”, off their 1995 album, Foo Fighters
What's the story here?
If we want story time in how I got to this realization, I always loved playing Learn to Fly on drums in Rock Band 2. More recently, I've been trying to teach myself on my electronic drum set. For some reason I started listening to what popped up first on Apple Music which was off the greatest hits album. I noticed the fills towards the end of the song were different, and figured Rock Band changed them as they've been known to slightly edit songs. I started relearning these fills, as I had also heard this version elsewhere.
But recently, I clicked on the version from the album and was sent into an emotional crisis on which was the REAL one as all the sudden this version did match the game after all.
Obviously the one on "There is Nothing Left to Lose" is the original, but why did they use a slightly different version for the video?
Putting up our tree and found my FF bulb. Now my tree is complete!
Didn’t expect to spot one of these up in the alps! Was very cool to play on the design of this machine is beautiful 🙏
For me it has to be waisting light 100% every song in that album is banger after banger, one of the very few albums where I won’t skip any of the songs. My highlights are def Miss the misery, walk and white limo. Also love medicine at midnight especially waiting on a war. Just wanted to know what other fans thought as Ive never really been involved in foo fighters fan discussion !
The Black Friday Sale is going on for the Foo Fighters merch store, with discounts at 20% for select items in stock.
Free pin for orders above 100$ and a free can cooler for any order (while supplies last)
If yall want some merch or a vyinl/CD at a discount, here is your chance to save money on buying a holiday gift or something for yourself.
I've seen people have widely different opinions of "But Here We Are" (album). Some say perfection, others say just okay. I'm part of the former, but what are your thoughts?
A really cool tribute to Taylor Hawkins in here.
Bringing back the maybe a bit forgotten followup to Fresh Pots. Because why not?
Putting his marriage and career on the line in order to be a good Dad. Doesn’t sound so bad to me, you guys.
It’s not okay, people were hurt deeply.
But, I have no hard feelings about it at all, and want what’s best for Dave and everyone involved.
The comments I’ve read are crazy. And unfair. Lots and lots of them.
Like a song that you come back to listen to when going through a rougher patch in life that comforts you. For me it is Cold Day in the Sun. Especially the verse
"You're so afraid that you are the only one, that you are the only one, You know. Don't be afraid because you're not the only one, You're not the only one, I know.
really makes me feel less alone with my struggles and stuff.
Dave mentioned on couple occasions that he has major hearing loss and tinnitus, which is understandable regarding his history of bands and shows he has played. I was asking myself, if anyone else in the band has ever talked about their health and possible hearing damage? I am really just curious, I never met an older professional musician who is completely without some form of hearing damage.
Hello Foo Fans!
Has anyone received their Christmas Jumper yet? What are your thoughts on the background colouring of your jumper vs the picture on the website? Mine is a definite different colour to the creamy white advertised.
I still love it but curious to know if it’s only me!
So, I purchased this on eBay for £60 and I’m unsure if it’s legit. The seller says it’s a promo watch from 1995 when they did a tour in France and they handed out these watches to radio and TV presenters in France to promote the first album. I can’t find anything online about it so was wondering if anyone on here has any info about it. Thanks
They’re playing Friday/Saturday. Any special guests you guys think?
Seems that Foo Fighters are on an indefinite hiatus. No new music or concerts in sight. Opinions on whether recent events will affect fan loyalty when (if?) they get back to releasing new music and touring?
This post is for all collections for Foo Fighters.
Trying to date some videos I'm watching - some have the feathers, some don't.
Also, I finally saw a close up of the tattoo on his right inner forearm, and worked out what it says: "In the end, we all come from what's come before"
YOU ARE NOT ME, ARLANDRIAAAAAA
August 16th and 17th 2015 what were the posters for those shows at Fiddlers Green for the Sonic Highways tour, if they even had posters for those shows? And October 9th 2011 at Pepsi center. I found a few online but not sure if they are real or fake. Thanks!
Hi all.
Ive fallen in love with the song, and the demo. I was wondering if there were any other foo songs like it? The heavy guitar sound, vocal blend and interlude make it perfect. Id greatly appreciate any recs. Thank you!
