My name is Philipp Oliver Christ, and I started at Staiger GmbH, a German company specializing in solenoid valves, proportional valves, and custom fluidic systems, as a student and social media manager. Over time, I’ve had the chance to grow into the role of sales and business development.
Right now, I’m working hard to build partnerships, especially with companies in Brazil, and here’s why:

Ask ko lang po sana kung may nagka problema na po dito sa pag take ng board exam pag dating sa pinasang passport id? Nakapag file na po kasi ako ng application and ang naipasa ko pong picture is covered po yung tenga ko which is now ko lang po na check na hindi daw po maipprocess yung application mo pag ganun kasi ang kailangan is hindi po nakatakip yung tenga. Hindi na po ba ako makakapag exam sa board exam this season, delay, or disqualify na ako. Badly need your insights!
Well, besides sa mas tipid yung online kasi di ka mag-rerent. May advantage po ba yung F2F/Hybrid as compared to online in terms of being prepared for the board exam?

Hi guys! Ask ko lang po for advice, especially sa mga medtech students or alumni. I’m currently on my gap year, and yung 1st sem ko, I really focused on my mental health kasi sobrang naging challenging yung last school year for me grabe yung anxiety and overthinking. Nagpa consult nadin ako, started meds, and worked on myself. Happy to say na okay na ako ngayon and I’m in a much better place!
Now that I’m entering the 2nd sem of my gap year, gusto ko naman maging productive and prepare for my return to school this August. I’m an irregular 3rd-year student, and sa 3rd year subjects ko, Histopath pa lang yung natapos ko. So basically, I still have 7 major subjects to take.
I want to start reviewing or doing readings ahead, pero honestly, hindi ko alam kung saan ako magsisimula. Any suggestions kung ano ang magandang unahin or paano mag prepare? Also, baka may alam kayong Discord servers or groups na nag teach ng mga 3rd year medtech subjects para kahit papaano, parang pumasok pa rin ako kahit naka gap year. Hehe.
Would really appreciate any recommendations or tips! Thank you so much in advance!
Has anyone here experienced being transferred to new Int'l Program Advisor, and still no update from the advisor? Is there any negative reason bakit sila ng tatransfer ng candidate to new IPA?
I'm tired of hearing all negative things about the Medical Technology field, I'd like to see positive things only for once!
What to prepare sa upcoming na DTA po? May pag aaralan po ba before sa date mismo? Pahingi po ng advice/tips.
I have decided to leave the NHS to explore whether working in the medical industry can provide the life I want. If I don’t find what I want, I can always return to clinical work or explore other paths. However, I know I would regret not trying. I’m asking for your serious, actionable advice. Here’s an anonymised summary of my situation:
My Motivation
I’m in my early career stage and have sacrificed my youth, time, money, relationships with family and friends, and hobbies to become a doctor. After a few years of clinical work, I’ve realised that the work/medicolegal risk/compensation ratio in clinical practice (especially surgery) is unacceptable.
The NHS is getting worse daily for known reasons. I tried to compensate for this in my own way by negotiating my salary, but no luck. The “return on investment” of being a clinician has been dream-shattering, and I do not believe things will improve. Even if they did in the future, it would not do any good to me after I wasted my entire youth undervalued and overworked. I’m ready to explore opportunities in the medical industry, hoping they will be better, and I am asking for your advice on my next steps.

I work in a medical device industry and I'm considering starting a weekly newsletter that simplifies complex ISO standards and FDA regulations for medical devices into easy-to-understand language. Each week, I'd focus on a different topic to assist both students and professionals in navigating these important guidelines. Before I proceed, I'd appreciate your thoughts on the following:
I appreciate any feedback you can share! FYI, this is not a promotion. Just trying to get feedback on a idea.

Hello po, I’m a registered MT na po. With 2 yrs experience.

Hi MedTech,
I wanted to get your thoughts on a new wearable concept I recently discovered—Evasync. It’s a device designed for prenatal health monitoring that works a bit like glucose monitors but is specific to pregnancy.
It tracks hormones like progesterone, glucose, hydration, and even stress levels to deliver personalized health insights. The idea is to give mothers more control and awareness over their health during pregnancy.
As exciting as it sounds, it does raise questions about the reliability of such data for medical decisions and how it might change the patient-doctor relationship. Could devices like this become a vital tool in preventative maternal healthcare, or do you think it’s too invasive?
If you’d like to take a look, their Instagram has more details: u/eva_sync
