I hate people who light fireworks

Why the hell are you lighting 10 fireworks right next to my home making a dumb ass dog bark for hours.

This "Tsunami Hazard Zone" sign is on Santa Monica Blvd., just across the street from the Century City mall. Given the height of the Santa Monica bluffs and how far inland this is, I'm surprised to see the sign here.

Getting married in LA - Help us make it great

Me and my Fiancé are planning an elopement for December 27th. We’re flying in and will be there for a week. I’m a North Carolina native and she’s from LA.

We’re both broke (hence the elopement) but we want to make it as special as possible. If you have ideas, we’d LOVE to hear from you.

Much appreciation and thanks in advance for any and all support ❤️

P.S. I really want to ride in a Cybertruck if anyone has one and is willing to give us a ride 👀

Los Angeles Christmas Market in DTLA is a joke. Ticket-holders beware.

I hope they are just working out the kinks as we attended the second day it was open, but I'm afraid it won't get much better. This is a warning to all ticket holders for the Los Angeles Christmas Market in DTLA this month:

  • They changed the event time from a 12 p.m. start time to a 4 p.m. start time 4 days before opening day.
  • All the photos on their website are stock photos and NOT actual photos from the actual event vendors.
  • The igloos are an abomination and the worst sort of Temu/Wish version of an igloo that you can imagine. There were no decorations inside and were adorned only with a few plastic chairs.
  • The line for wine/beer was so long it was impossible to get a drink.
  • The food vendors didn't seem to have any sense of urgency or competence. (It took 30 minutes to get food, the workers had 0 communication with customers, the computer ordering terminal didn't match the menu and the food was sub-par.)
  • There was TAG still on one of the artifical Christmas trees and many of the trees weren't even set up/branches fluffed.
  • We had to bring a trash can over to the hand washing station outside the portable bathrooms because there just wasn't one anywhere in sight.

For a $27 ticket, you get nothing but entrance and some photo ops. No included drink tickets, no live music, nada.

Then, when people write a critical review, they delete it and instead offer refunds as hush money. I hope they can get it together and that the rest of you ticket holders have a nice time, but just in case they don't, please be warned. Sneak in your own alcohol and snacks and whatever you do, do NOT pay $180 for an igloo!

Going to a concert at sofi in April. Never been Sofi before and I’m wondering what hotels are near the area where we can spend a couple night for the concert. We are planning to Uber from hotel to concert

Fuck Tenants of the Trees

Just tried to go to tenants in Silverlake with 4 of my white college friends and 3 of my friends from back home in east la. We arrived minutes apart in Ubers. They let my white friends in for but tried to make my Mexican friends pay 50 each to get in just now.

Polaroid Mystery!

I was leaving North Hollywood (I collect & take Polaroid pictures often) and a print hit my foot as I was getting in the Uber, so I put it in my purse thinking it was mine. Mine are much smaller, but at night who notices? Lol. A month later, I switched purses again and I’m just now realizing I have no idea who this belongs to. But if this was someone’s guy, he was definitely just with his friends on Halloween. Oh and he can have his print back lmao 🤣 ❤️

What was that nasty smell by Lafayette Park years ago?

Curious if any of you remember. But years ago there was this adult school on the corner of Lafayette Park and there was a very nasty smell. It smelled like rotten eggs or as if some evil kids threw stink bombs.

Open packages

Anybody else noticing your packages from USPS and even Amazon arriving open? Meaning, someone actively tore off the tape to look inside. The past few weeks, several of my boxes arrived with seals broken. Unfortunately for whoever was attempting to score, my most recent orders have been boring stuff like shampoo and socks.

I’m back to mess with your eyeballs

I know, I know, I need to go to Muldovia rather than the lame Westside! But here’s another on the go (had to go badly actually) photo in my holiday series of bad snappy’s. Something is captured, not sure what.

It’s quiet out there LA, get out there peeps, come out of your nests, dizzy pictures and a thermos with coffee and vodka don’t cost much!

The Los Angeles Galaxy have advanced to their 10th MLS Cup

LA vs NY again just like Dodgers vs Yankees. Hopefully LA get another win against NY this year for the championship

Shelters that allow dogs to meet?

Looking to adopt a second dog soon, but I want to see how my dog does with this new dog. I'm wondering if there's a place that allows dogs to meet like that?

I know fostering is the other option :)
