I have my registration date for tomorrow and literally almost all the classes I'm gonna take I'm going to be waitlisted for. How can that happen, i can't believe the school can't expect the demand for these classes because EVERY CLASS... I mean it is what it is but I'm hoping they at least open more sections 😔

I was dressed up as an inflatable Garfield costume at school today for Halloween, I was taking the costume off to go in the student center because I didn't want to take up alot of space inside so i put down my backpack and took off my gloves to deflate the costume, grabbed my stuff and went inside. I realized i forgot the gloves on the bench a couple minutes later so i went back put and they were missing, I searched the area, but no luck, it wasn't windy at the time so it couldn't have blown away

Now when people were asking to take photos with me afterwards it looked hella weird with my hands being exposed instead of the gloves lol 😭🙏

Hey guys! Im a commuter and my days for Spring Semester are packed! I saw that one of my classes in the middle of the day is on Zoom!!! I can’t just leave and come back, but is there any place on campus where I can go to have some quiet to “be” in that class? What about the computers in the library? Or I guess I could bring my laptop with me, but would either of those even work because I might need to ask questions and I don’t want to disrupt others working around me.

Does anyone have experience taking these classes over the winter intersession? I am personally interested in these courses and am kind of concerned about what content they will include since this is a really short class session. I am mainly concerned about cutting out content. I have CS 4200 with Daisy Tang which I hear is a good professor, and CS 4210 with Sai Chandra Kosaraju, who also seems to be a very good professor. Thanks!

Last semester I was rejected by the MBA program but was admitted to the MSA program. And basically the reason for me being denied admission was due to my resume lacking experience. Even though I had 4 + years of experience on my resume. I honestly thought it was the format. Because I had a lot of info. If you arrange your resume better are the chances of being admitted greater?

I'm registering for spring semester classes, but I have a pretty tight schedule, so I'm wondering if I can put off taking PHY 1520 (& the lab ofc) until fall 2025. I'm currently in PHY 1510 & I'm an alright student (B), but I'm worried about becoming rusty at the material if I wait a year. How much of 1510 is used in 1520? It seems like the recommended prof. (Benzahra) doesn't have any spots open as of rn, otherwise I would just take his course. Anyways pls lmk if you have any info here, ty!
