Is anybody going to tomorrow's match? I'll be driving up from Washington and wanted to know of any away fan meet ups. Thank you.
My first watch party will be at the cemetery , what should I expect and also side note why the cemetery ? 😂😂😂😂 Is it like day of dead related 💀
Were LAFC season ticket holders entitled to any first dibs on tickets or were they made for purchase by your supporters group?

Wondering if I can sync up with someone to cop a Dia de los muertos scarf and sweatshirt. Currently living in Atlanta and looks like they are only available at HQ. Will pay for shipping and a little extra for going out of your way to help a fan here in Georgia.
Any watch parties happening in the Santa Monica/ Beverly Hills / West Hollywood area?
Well Game 1 is over in the playoffs. Here is a brief summary.
Eastern Conference
Inter Miami CF leads the series 1-0 vs Atlanta United FC after winning 2-1. Will Atlanta pull a win to push Miami to a Game 3. How much gas does Miami have? Game 2 will answer this.
Orlando City SC leads the series 1-0 vs Charlotte FC after winning 2-0. This series is too close to call. Probably a good watch for game 2.
Cincinnati leads the series 1-0 vs New York City FC after winning 1-0. Another series too close to call. Another good watch for sure. Knowing our boys can beat Cincinnati, it is good that they have the lead.
New York Red Bulls leads the series 1-0 vs Columbus Crew after winning 1-0. Shocker. Absolute shocker. Columbus Crew had a must win match and could not get it done. Will be interesting in Game 2 if the Red Bulls can get the win. Bad news for Columbus as they add a extra game if they are to pass this round.
Western Conference
Carson leads the series 1-0 vs Colorado Rapids after winning 5-0. Colorado Rapids have home advantage for game 2. The way they can pull a upset is trying to get some surprise goals in the 2nd half. Otherwise, Galaxy will sweep.
LAFC leads the series 1-0 vs Vancouver Whitecaps FC after winning 2-1. Wait I know that team. LAFC needs to keep the tempo up next game. It is about the passing and getting those plays we all love to see. Hope to see more of Carlos Vela. Vancouver left with some hope but we got this. Just need our boys to score.
Seattle Sounders lead the series 1-0 vs Houston Dynamo after winning on penalties 0 (5) - 0 (4). Extremely too close to call. Seattle could not get a true win in their own stadium. The penalty count seems close as well. Houston has a good chance to send this to Game 3. By all means do that.
Minnesota United lead the series 1-0 vs Real Salt Lake after winning on penalties 0 (4) - (0) 5. This one is a close to call although now it is leaning to Minnesota to getting through. Why? Real Salt Lake has slowly been declining through the season. Chicho Arango is their ace. Shall see what happens in game 2.

Goals
I just happened to hit record before his goal!
Is the stadium as empty as it looks on TV. Appears that 30%+ of the seats in the middle sections are empty on TV.
Not sure if it’s just folks roaming rather than being in their seats?

The dog days of the Los Angeles summer are long gone. The crisp autumn air is here, bringing with it louder roars and a cold sturdy enough to transmute our scarves from ceremonial to utilitarian.
Playoffs at the Banc (ugh, BMO). There is nothing like it. These game days in late October/November are never guaranteed. So don’t ruin this wonderful gift from Cherundolo & Company by overspending on bad food.
In case you are new here, my review system is simple:
This sandwich looks big and is big. Big enough that I’d seriously recommend cutting it in half. The bun is hearty and has an adequate crunch.
Of all the flavors that this Torta tries to impart, it is most successful with the Jalapeño salsa. The mishmash of diced tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños is beautifully fresh with a building spice.
That blend of fresh and spice desperately wants to tango with a savory porky carnitas, but alas the carnitas is too shy, under seasoned, and sits twiddling his thumbs off the dance floor. Not even invited to the dance is the sliced Oaxacan cheese that’s fat content is near anorexic.
The bean spread acts as a double edged sword in the sandwich: On one hand, it’s a binder for all the goods and makes for a texturally diverse bite. On the other hand, it dampens any salty/fatty flavor you want from the unfortunately under seasoned Carnitas.
Overall, this Torta is filling and takes a lot of flavor swings that it lacks the confidence to actually deliver on. It is by no means bad. But it can be at times bland.
Love, Jonathan Black & Gold
P.s. Finally, a little tip. The Northgate Portable or the Michelada stand next to it are ideal places to hit if you arrive late to the stadium during opening ceremonies. Both lines have views of the field so you can watch Ollie soar while you wait.
