I'm a resident and obviously don't want to smoke in the dorms because fire alarm risk and courtesy (even though you can definitely smell that people do it anyway) and heard my RA and others say "just go across the street." I feel like a moron but do I just walk around the residential neighborhoods or...?

hi!! i’m not a current student at csun i’m at a cc rn and transferring after two years and i was wondering how hard the radiology program is to get into? my second option is the nursing program but i know for every nursing program it’s competitive.

Has everyone received their MCS already? I saw mine got posted on my portal then I see it goes to my history but I still haven’t received the money and I don’t owe any money. Kinda worried lol.

I’m a sophomore currently in Computer Science. In my portal, I have a registration date but there is a hold regarding spring 2025 advisement within my college. I was wondering if anybody had gotten any emails allowing them to make an appointment or if I need to make an appointment on my own. Last semester, the college emailed me and I had to call them to schedule an advisement appointment. Just wanted to make sure I’m not jeopardizing my own registration date.

Got early registration on Nov 4th and got free electives to take. Since I know nothing outside my major, I don't know what to take. What would you all recommend as a fun class.

I took math 103 last year and it completely went over my head, I sat in lecture not understanding a thing and ended up with like a D + should I try again? I was able to pass math 140 with a B so that gives me some confidence

I have my MCS listed in Anticipated aid, but then I checked my “holds” section and it said i have this hold which was placed on my account 10/24/24. I’ve never seen this hold before, until I randomly checked since I noticed a lot of ppl received their MCS.

I paid for my Tuition fee out of pocket. Then when they received my scholarship they paid the fee again. Now I have to wait for refund. This is a scammy move I think.

Has anyone received their MCS?

I'm trying to transfer to CSUN for Fall 2025 from a community college, and the deadline is January 31, 2025. I have checked all the requirements, except I have not taken a math class yet. I plan to take it in Spring 2025 at my cc, which will be before I transfer but after I've already submitted my application. Will I still be able to get accepted? I'm very worried please help!

Is the amount listed in the accepted amount correlate to the amount students are actually receiving? Or is the amount significantly less ?

I’ve already received my refund earlier this semester so I don’t what this refund is for or why now? Can this be a scam email?

This is my first semester at Csun and Im a transfer so I picked up and moved here and im a pretty good student but for some reason all of my classes are kicking me in the face. I just find myself not doing good on exams and struggling to study and stay focused. Anyone else going through it? I feel like a failure and I’m so scared to fail a course because it’s not the easiest thing to retake them and I just want this to be worth it. I don’t mean for this to sound like poor me and I know this isn’t usually what people post on here but here we are.
