I started watching Cowboy Bebop some weeks ago, I'm already in episode 9 (yes, I'm taking it easy lol) and I am loving it. Though I was wondering, what exactly means that phrase before the ending starts sounding? Is it a reference to something or someone? Is it a way to greet the audience as if we were all space cowboys (that is what i think tbh)? I know it could be explain on the next episodes or the movie, or maybe not, but I just wanted to know if it is there for some other reason.

i watched this anime a while back from someone who made an edit of it from this sub, the main character looked almost identical to spike but was a samurai, but it wasnt samurai champloo. i remember the villain was this old fat guy in this electric chair thing and at the end of the anime turned out to be like a baby or somethin like that. i cant find this anime anywhere
