It is a certified banger but I couldn’t find any name for it anywhere. Anyone know what it’s called?
How effective would be the main duos we have seen if put in a neutral team with average good players? Which players would succed the most against the others?
Kagami and Kuroko
Midorima and Takao
Kise and Kasamatsu
Murasakibara and Himuro
Aomine and Momoi
Akashi and Mayazumi.
Momoi would not play but would analyze the other team as usual, since Aomine doesn't have a player he teams up.
The happy and proud look on his face - with that cool expression - just priceless.
Mitobe is The Man
Like it screams of an unrealized or unrecognized potential they have. That in another era they would’ve been considered the best
The ONLY thing that sounds tougher is generation of miracles. But still uncrowned kings is not too far behind it.
Idk I just like that name so much and it makes so much sense too. That there are already so many exceptional players just so happens to be overshadowed by these guys.
I also like how in S1 narrator said “but there is one more member the 5 geniuses recognized. The phantom 6th member”.
Like how it implies they have a lot of respect to for Kuroko and acknowledge his talents.
When watching Midorima, he’s no doubt a terrifying player. What makes him even more interesting is though I can definitely see flaws where he can work on and maybe get better.
100% accuracy with Full court Range as impressive as it is, its far from Unstoppable.
Apart from Akashi who has his Emperor Eye and doesn’t need to jump to stop Midorima, if you put a high level player in his face he can’t get a shot on. Kagami can block him, Mura, Aomine and forgetting PC kise who could do it, even Base Kise is good enough to stop Midorima’s shots after all he’s probably the closest to Kagami in jumping power alone ignoring Silver.
Even certain UK players I think are a threat to his shot. In Seirin Vs Shutoku II Kiyoshi for high enough to contest Midos shot but he passed it, In the Rakuzan Vs Shutoku game Nebuya did the same thing. Also even with PC Kise, Kiyoshi was able to get high enough to block it but he switched into Aomines drive.
I think Midorima becoming a team player has helped making him more dangerous, especially now that he can create more chances for his teammates because the defence is aware of his 3. But I feel he can go higher, he should develop more of a bag, I think he already has decent handles. He was shifty enough in season 1 to get right past Kagami and Shoot a 3 and even when he dribbled past Mibuchi. So he certainly isn’t a player that can only shoot and do nothing else but he needs to focus on improving those aspects to make them stand out more maybe.
Imagine Mido with half court step back threes, or if he pump faked and blew by the defence and then shoot. If he developed his handles and drive to be about Kagami level where he’s shown good ability in even though it’s not his specialty then to defend him I feel would be a nightmare. I also Know he’s so hell bent on 3>2 but he’s 6’5 (195 cm) he’d be nightmare in the paint. I think he could get some dunks in against Kagami and Aomine, Physically he’s quite strong I’d say and he’s able to get high enough to block kagami, and his chase down block on Kotaro was beautiful. I know he attempted a lay up against Silver but I mean, I think he’d do even better in the Inter High or Winter Cup against opponents that aren’t on Jabberwocks level ofc. Also I think the author missed out on giving Mido the Zone, because even if he already never misses they could’ve maybe made it that he’s able to have a quicker release, and like even his physical attributes getting better I think we can see him showcase skills outside of shooting.
(Pardon me if there are any spelling/grammatical errors or repetition of anything, I’m not the best when it comes to articulating my point).
We'll obviously pick the most common PG/SG's from the series, and I'll include some other players from the series too that aren't as popular, but with that said, here's the list:
Here’s a list of the point guards (PG) and shooting guards (SG) from Kuroko no Basuke (Kuroko's Basketball):
Tetsuya Kuroko (Seirin)
Yukio Kasamatsu (Kaijo)
Seijuro Akashi (Rakuzan)
Shun Izuki (Seirin)
Kazunari Takao (Shutoku)
Makoto Hanamiya (Kirizaki Daiichi)
7. Nash Gold Jr. (Jabberwock)
I would normally just Google something like this but I don’t want to be spoiled in case it is canon
If yes, when cause I have never seen him do it
Anime implies Aomine never saw Akashi as real competition lol
Kise is doing the exact same pose and painting technique as Aomine - copycat even in handiwork - much to Kasamatsu's disapproval lol
I've noticed that other than the GOM only a few other characters are consistently present in the official merchandise, and some of the choices are quite strange to me.
I think Takao is very popular since he is often paired with all the gom on his own and other who i have seen very often are Mayazumi and Himuro.
I was very surprised about Mayazumi being so popular while other characters who are very liked in the west have little coverage. To the people who are more knowledgeable about the Japanese fans, which chacters are the most popular there and why?
I love Kuroko along with his unique ideology and the way he played basketball at the beginning. His passes were some of the most satisfying things to see in the show. Although I usually hate to use the “plot armor” card, I feel like no character is more fitting. The amount of tricks that he pulls from seemingly thin air along with the show picking and choosing when it’s effective is nothing short of absurd (vanishing drive, misdirection overflow, phantom shot). Although we see him practice his vanishing drive and phantom shot, the sheer difference of effectiveness that it has in different matches is too great. Apparently, >!Takao with his hawk eye couldn’t stop Kuroko’s drive once, but it was rendered useless against Touou.>! Don’t get me started on his athletic ability being shot up when the plot demands it (super rebounds, blocking >!Murasakibara!>, etc). This isn’t a Kuroko hate post, but the inconsistency is truly frustrating.

I haven't watched the shown in years, and I've wondered if he actually was viable to have on the court. Because I feel like he was a very one-dimensional player.
Just finished kuroko’s basketball. I don’t know how but all characters became a part of my life or rather i became a part of them. The post show depression hits me like i’m thrown under a bus. Idk how i’ll shake off this. I never wanted to finish this series to such extent that i was purposefully not watching the finals between seirin and rakuzan. But it had to end sometime eh? I’m sad that a beautiful journey is over, come to think of it I should’ve never started watching it. Idk why all good things has to end. But i will always always cherish the characters throughout my life. Future days will be hard knowing the fact that i finished watching knb and there’ll be no more knb but that’s that.
Thank you so much Tadatoshi Fujimaki.
We can clearly see that he was able to copy every GOM's skill and also he was using them simultaneously. How he blocked kuroko's phantom shot by combining emperor's eye and murasakibura's technique. He can easily be considered among top 3 yet I don't find him above in the list. Why so?
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DDAOAfhvwbG/?igsh=MXhmeTEyNGhkNmk2 after watching those moves and speed there’s no denying, he’s Daiki Aomine
Is it just me, or does the plot of KnB feel rushed?
I just finished watching Haikyuu!! and wanted to watch more sports anime, so I decided to give KnB a try. I'm currently halfway through Season 1, but everything feels so fast-paced. There’s not much detailed explanation about each character. Or am I judging too soon since I haven’t finished Season 1 yet?
What do you guys think?
objectively, kagami is the best. he beat the GOM and the uncrowned kings. but without kuroko, hyuga, kiyoshi, etc. would be still be the best? in the instance of 1v1 kagami vs akashi, kise, aomine, murasakibara, midorima, would he come out on top, or is it the ideology of teamwork with seirin that makes him the best player. personally, i think kise is the best player, but him only being able to use perfect copy + the zone for a few minutes ruins it.
I am writing a rough draft for a kuroko's basketball fanfiction but I cann't think of anything for haizaki upgrade beyond zone like for kise I was thinking of burst type perfect copy where he can countinously enter and exit perfect copy state to increase his efficiancy but nothing coming to my mind for Haizaki
Q1) Because Perfect Pillage like perfect copy will be too broken to even consider a skill. So please help me kuroko basketball fans
Q2) One more question is that do you like my guest character from another anime to be father of nash gold jr. with Alexandra Garcia as his mother in fanfic?
Q3) kagami joining teiko middle school when he came back to japan as shown in movie in his second year of middle school?
Q4) guest character having a second son same age as GoM with skill like lightning fast responses and dribbling sepiciality? (lightning fast reflexes in such a way that if he and aomine has to run 1/3 of court then he wins because of his first fast step at 2/3 court they tie and full court aomine wins)
“Eyes like mine”- Nash revealing his Belial Eye
“I’ll do it”- Kise moments before entering The Zone
“It’s not that I singled you out, it could’ve been anyone you know”- Jason Silver’s ISO against Aomine
“There won’t be anymore dramatic changes from me, however the same can’t be said for the other four”- Akashi putting Rakuzan in The Zone
“If I can’t do it now, then when the hell will I”- Kagami entering The Zone
“The only one who can beat me..is me”- Aomine’s motivation on how great he is
“Let’s go have some fun”- Kiyoshi lighting the fire in Seirin
“We won’t be losing here you Apologetic Mushroom”- Hyuga insulting Sakurai while getting fired up for a SG shootout
“Let me give you a demonstration on my superiority, observe”- Akashi entering The Zone
“No, I am a shadow”- Kuroko before giving Kagami an Alley-Oop and winning The Winter Cup
Also Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here, you guys are my second family😂🫶🏾
