hello everyone! I don't know if my question is really appropriate or relevant to this sub but I'll try anyway. I've always been a big fan of Tuesday's clothing style but I don't know if it's found in real life or if a similar aesthetic exists. It seems to me that the lolita style exists but it seems too rich in the ones I have seen. I would rather look for something cute, elegant but simple like Tuesday. I would love to wear this type of thing in the future, so if by chance anyone knows anything about it, I'm all ears! If my question is off-topic, I apologize and wish you a good day!

So I’ve watched Carole and Tuesday since it came out and every year before new year i open up my tv and start s2 as I finished s1 yesterday and when it hits 12 it ends when the show ends with fireworks. I’m also doing it this year just waiting for the perfect tjne

So I'm halfway through the anime and maybe I should wait until I watch the whole thing but I have some opinions that I'd like to discuss.

As a musician myself (violin), I identify with the show's message of the struggles of music, I also love the idea that in this universe that music trended towards using AI to make music and that it all becomes empty and repetitive as opposed to music that comes from people and therefore has "soul" as remarked by multiple AI's stating very obviously that they lack such.

My only real problem is the music itself, which sounds like modern pop music for the most part, which is very formulaic and repetitive with lyrics written by ghost writers and not the artist themselves for the most part.
I actually find myself often skipping the songs because they don't resonate at all with me, which makes sense in the case of Ertegun makes sense as he only uses AI and is more or less a vain and hollow imitation of a musician. But other than playing their own music and being less EDM than Eregun, Carole and Tuesday's music sounds VERY generic in my opinion.

If I were to redo the music aspects of the anime, I'd prefer it to branch out into many genres of music from punk to jazz to classical, but so far I feel like I've only heard variations of pop and electronic music.
So great premise and ideas but a poor execution of sorts, again in my opinion.

This sounds crazy off the title so hear me out. I've played piano since I was 12 (20 now), my dad's favorite thing in the world was hearing his daughter play piano, even when I just started and had no clue what I was doing. He died to cancer when I was 16 and I barely played piano after that. Then, after I met my now best friend he introduced me to this anime and it immediately sparked that love for piano again. Now we play music together regularly and are hoping to book some concerts in our city next year! This anime brought us so much closer and brought back my love for piano. I was listening to the Indigo Girls and it reminded me a lot of some of Carol and Tuesday's songs, especially Whispering my Love and The Loneliest Girl and Army of Two. Has anyone else noticed this?

Ibwas js jamming out to the orginal soundtrack and I heard a song that was js a melody. I liked it sm I tried to find it on spotify bc the creator of the song didn't have it in their acct ig. But there's probably over 10-15 of the background songs and melody in C&T and honestly I might get a new record js for these

I've seen a few posts about the mention of the preditory lesbian trope and I was just wondering when and who that was cus I think it went over my head. (I watched the English dub btw) Ps: i think the series could use more positive LGBTQ+ representation like for example I ship the reporter guy with Tuesday's brother (if they have similar ages ofc)

This dude is probably one of the most annoying characters i've eve seen. I mostly just hate his stupid 'who am i?' brand- he makes me so angry i wanna run him over with an 80 ton truck LIKE FR- WHO THE HELL ARE YOU???. And the fact that he's the judge for the next round on mars' brightest puts the girls at a horrible disadvantage and i hated it-

By the end of the show, they all got screwed with no happy ending. Skip stays in jail, Ezekiel gets sent back to Earth, and Dann has to go back to Earth to serve parole. Like damn, they couldn’t throw one of them a bone. I’m just sad.

Recently got into vinyl and decided I wanted my first record to be C&T. the record should be coming somewhere early next month and I'm super happy.
