I hate everything too, Viral (except youuuu 💖)

Im posting this because i have to say one thing and that is, this show genuinely changed my Life. I struggle with a lot but for some reason i feel like going forward in life now, i feel like i wanna find a dream and reach for it no matter what. I dont care if it sounds crazy this show is life changing.

I'm watching Gurren Lagann for the first time, I'm in the end of episode 2, and there's a song playing in the background at around 19:40 that I wanna listen to the full version of, does anybody know what song it is?

I'm gonna use the movie version of the final battle, because of the additions in the movie.

So as the final battle is about to start the Anti-Spiral says that they will fight team dai-gurren on equal terms, using the same form they find such comfort in. With Lord Genome adding that it is their way of instilling absolute despair, by fighting and defeating them on equal terms.

So by that logic, couldn't the anti spiral have used Super Granzeboma against regular Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and just instantly crushed them.

Of course there's the bit where Simon, Viral and Nia manage to break through Granzeboma's giga drill with just regular Gurren Lagann, but up untill that point, the Anti-Spiral should have been able to crush the completely right?

So were the Anti-Spiral just way too arrogant or did they let Simon win?

I just finished the show and oh my god it was amazing but I really thought that they would end up together in the end. She says in the spa episode that she would maybe like Simon if he became more of a man (or at least that’s what I remember her saying), yet at the end of the story even though he’s become a man and his own person they don’t end up together??? Also because both of the people they loved were dead at the end I thought that they would get together. Overall, I thought the ending was pretty good but I am disappointed that they didn’t end up together.🤷‍♂️

I just watched the 11th episode for the first time and everybody is such a bad friend to Simon. Like the kid is clearly goig through a major depression and nobody tries to even cheer him up, especially Yoko who knows him the best should be more worried about him. Seriously fuck those guys.

So I might be tripping but how come those two were even allowed to come to the final battle?

Rossiu clearly didnt understand anything going on with the Anti-Spiral (which does make sense) but he almost threw the first battle by not understanding how Spiral Energy seems to be connected directly to human will.

I get his thing is being rational and pragmatic but I honestly wouldnt trust him not to do what the Spiral King did in order to avoid the anti-spiral weapon and Kinon doesnt really do anything.

Also was it him who ordered the old Gunmen to be scrapped? Because I think something in R&D went wrong if their replacements lacked the same level of firepower.

Wtfffff. I already realize that they did that at the end of the episode to let Simon develop as a character but I’m still so sad.😭
