Q: Why are chapter releases taking so long?
A: HNI-Scantrad is currently the main provider for scanlation. Chapters are released on a weekly basis (barring breaks by the author), but releases can be delayed due to the team wanting to bring the highest quality of scans, typesetting, and quality checking for the chapter.
Q: Where can I find the new translations of the manga after 1204?
A: Click Here for all of the chapters translated after MangaStream stopped.
Q: What order do I watch the anime and OVAs in?
A: Hajime No Ippo: The Fighting, Champion Road, Mashiba vs. Kimura, Hajime No Ippo: New Challenger, Hajime No Ippo: Rising
Q: I finished the anime, where do I pick up with the manga?
A: Ch. 558, however, the anime has cut/rearranged certain events in the manga. Therefore, it is recommended that you read from Ch. 1
Q: When is season 4 coming out?
A: As far as we know, there are currently no plans for a season 4 to be produced.
Q: Is the manga ending?
A: No, if it was, there would've been an official announcement.

Does anyone else think miyata is genuinely boring?
Im reading the manga rn very slowly since i dont have much time. I like rewatching the anime now and then, but while rewatching, I just skip over whatever miyata scene comes on, like the jimmy cisfar fight when miyata tries to make a comeback, I just find miyata so damn boring, I like gero/barfmichi more even though he is a side character with less importance than miyata. Miyata is just super boring.

Hey guy i just got into s2 and i noticed that takamura doesn’t have have his japan champion belt that he got back in s1, what happened to it? Did he change weight classes or something? Please dont spoil past s2 ep15 ty.

Question about kumi
Okay, i started this series weeks ago and now i just finished champions road. But i committed an error. Saw some manga chapters after S1 cause of the party scene, that obviously was a way to include more chapters in one scene so wanted to see the differences. Point is:
In the manga, Ippo and Kumi exchange gifts in front of some river and at some point, Kumi just said Ippo that she won't see him anymore, then they go out and she fled again after saw her brother and then again she goes away after Ippo doesn't confess. Champion road finishes and the two apparently came back to the romance route. Just... what happened? Why kumi distanced herself from Ippo just to return where she was?
Still not sure if after seasons and movie i will catch up tho.

I don't know how unpopular that opinion is, but I think Ippo skill wasn't that much of an issue before his adaptability was.
In a lot of his later matches (post sawamura) i would say Ippo does realtively well in the early rounds. Then he tend to either panick when confronted to weird strategy or lost concentration in the middle rounds until he outstamina his opponent and start to learn how to deal with them and start doing well again.
Ippo is the definition of 0 intuition all experience.

WHY ARENT THEY ANIMATING THIS SHOW MORE. With new updated styles of animation this show would beat Baki it’s so much better IMO def wouldn’t want Baki style animation but this show is better
