i have been multiple times over the years, but never saw anyone. so this is just out of curiosity. also i know that alt is a big umbrella term, so you can interpret it how you see fit. i’d also be interested in knowing if there are any alt communities / spaces / events that maybe I didn’t know of. thanks!
Hello guys, is there any way to set up a corporate bank account in BVI for our company remotely ?
I (30/F) am being offered a job position in finance as an Assistant Manager in an MNC, I have work experience of more than 9 years, what should be my expected salary, if someone can share a broad salary bracket here. I will have one dependent and need to factor in the living cost as well.
I’ve always wondered this, something like “republic of Tortola”or “Tortola and the Virgin Islands”
Hi, everyone I hope you are all well! I am an 18 year old jersey collector from the United States 🇺🇸 I was wondering if it was possible for someone located on the British Virgin Islands to help me out with something? I want to buy the national team jerseys but it’s only possible to buy them in person as I’ve called the BVI football association I was wondering if someone could maybe help me with this and pick up some jerseys from the association? They are $30 each and I would pay for all including the shipping to the U.S!
Can anyone tell me whether or not Alprazolam or Dextroamphetamine are legal in BVI? I have a prescription, but I know some countries have a zero tolerance policy toward some medications that are routinely prescribed in the US. Thanks!
We're going to be in Tortola (west end) between 12/26 and 1/3 and want to do a day out on a boat hopping and snorkeling. The only company I know is Lion in Da Sun over in St. Thomas, but I didn't know if anyone could recommend something closer. We're 3 adults and 4 teens, and we're looking for a speed boat, not a sailboat.
I’ve been recently offered a position in the BVI. The position, salary and benefits are good, but even after researching a lot, I’m not sure if about moving there. I’ve grown up in large cities/capitals and currently live in Europe. If you relocate, or if you have been living there, what would you tell me about life in the BVI?
Hello all!
I am trying my best to compile a few different recipes from all the remaining British overseas territories and have been hitting a few snags with some places less familiar to myself. While I have an endless resource for Saint Helenian dishes (my mum), I’ve found that other territories have little written online that I can easily access or are dominated by foreigner-focussed cuisine for tourists. So I was hoping that I could get some help on the most popular local dishes, whether that be culturally unique or just tied to our colonial legacy. It could be breakfast, lunches, dinner, desserts, or even drinks. Just a general idea of what’s popular. I appreciate the help in advance.
Hey guys
Can anyone please recommend any good agencies for starting an online company that is already established overseas?
I want to start a company in BVI
We’re going to Tortola in December and can’t decide where to stay. We’ve got two young kids.
We’re flying from San Juan to Tortola on Dec 24th.
We’ll need to ferry on Dec 28th from Tortola to St John Cruz Bay. Do we need to stay close to one of the ferry ports?
Any recommendations of where to stay and what to do? So far I plan to hike one day, and visit Virgin Gorda one day.
Anyone with experience with a chef or gourmet prepared meals on a bareboat catamaran in the BVIs?
As a small developer, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of a brand new IOS app designed to help learner drivers pass the driving theory test first time in British Virgin Islands!
As someone who understands the nerves and pressure of British Virgin Islands highway codes and road signs.
Whether you’re preparing for your car, motorcycle, or heavy vehicle theory...etc., this app has got you covered.
Check it out! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/british-virgin-islands-driving/id6503645673
Disclaimer: It is 4.99 dollars, which will help fund the expensive AppStore fees and continue helping me develop apps like this to help more people. Hope you guys can show support! I know the rules around nudity on land but is anyone really going to bother us on a charter boat?
I'll be sailing the BVIs in about a month (minus Anegada), for the first time. Is fresh caught seafood sold on docks or from boats anywhere, or will I need to make my way inland to a grocery store? Can it be found via VHF? What's my best shot at getting some shrimp and some snapper for my grill? Thanks in advance!
I've tried to reach out to one for consultation via Google and never heard back. Do any of you know a reputable, trusted lawyer I can potentially hire for some corporate law work.
Regards
Hey! What is the deal with Ginger Island? Is there any place to stop on a cat for a day or at night? If so, where? Is it worth it? Going in May if it makes a difference.
Hi all,
I have a "Certificate of Incorporation" from the British Virgin Islands that I need an apostille for, and a company quoted me $500 to get it done in BVI, or $200 to get it done in the UK.
Since it's a BVI doc, I thought it needed to be done in BVI, but they said it would be ok to do in the UK?
I don't really know how this stuff works, especially because of the whole commonwealth situation, but does this sound right to yall? It's $300 cheaper so I want to believe it'll be ok :\
Anyone have experience with this by chance?
We pulled into Spanish Town today with the wind but what appeared to be mooring on the North side of the bay had written on them "Do no pick up". What is the mooring situation there?
We’re currently cruising between the islands and my feet has gotten very swollen and a rash with what appears to be a fluid filled have broken out on one foot. I walked around Road Town and a bit on Norman Island. Does anybody know what this might be?
Does anyone know any good spots to find shark teeth in the bvi? I’m here with my family and was wondering for souvenirs, thanks!
BVI Law Enforcement, next time that the evasive British politician Geoffrey Cox arrives in your neighbourhood, serve a warrant on him to search his paperwork & his laptop/smartphone.
I cant tell you what you are looking for, but you will know it when you see it.
I will be sailing around the island with a group of friends from 4/12 to 4/19. I am wondering if there are any events/parties/concerts to attend. Family-friendly or adult-only is fine.
We have been to these islands several times but not since Hurricane Irma. I expect a lot to have changed
-Thanks in advance!
