My husband and our 1.5 year old will be visiting Sint Maarten and are interested in taking a day trip to Anguilla. We are interested in doing a tour of the island while there. Are there any tours provided by a tour guide on the island or do you recommend we rent a car and explore the island ourselves. If so what recommendations do you have ie places to see or restaurants to go to.
Was just in anguilla with the fam and fell in love with this hot sauce! I think you can only get on the island- I am hoping to get everybody a bottle for christmas and if anyone would like to send me 10 bottles to Brooklyn NY I would love to pay you 100$ + sauce cost
Serious offer! Comment or message <3
Been to near by islands but not Angulia. Is there a local fish fry with local fams / fishermen folks?
Also, are there any fish left in the area? Not imported. I e seen this too often :/
Anyone ever gone for a run along the roads in Anguilla? Looking for routes or loops 5-20 miles. I can draw some up routes on rungo, but wondering if there is anything common, cool, or popular?
We will be staying at Four Seasons Anguilla for a week in mid-July 2025 so it will be all early morning runs from that base. I'll probably do a mile or two in the sand, but need roads for most of my mileage.
Is there a good real estate website for the island? looking hopefully for a specific Anguilla real estate site and not a generic Caribbean site
Hi guys!
I'm travelling to Anguilla next month.
I was wondering if the general public/not staying at the Cap Julaca resort, is allowed to go to that beach?
If not, is there a way to buy a day pass to access it? I'm aware it might be expensive.
Just curious since the beach looks beautiful.
Thanks a lot for your help :)
Hi i collect postcards and would like one from anguilla.
Can some kind soul send one?
Hello! Hoping to get some advice about things on the island. We are traveling for Thanksgiving week with my husband, mom, and 6 month old baby. Will they allow him on catamarans and boat excursions or is that not usually allowed? Any recommendations of things that are baby friendly? We plan to do a lot of relaxing on different beaches, but looking for other things as well!
Hi all - sorry if this is a dumb question but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere and Moke hasn't answered me.
I'm changing hotels (from Zemi to Belmond) and want to know if i can pick up Moke at zemi and drop off at Belmond? I also want to know if its possible to drive between the 2 on the Moke with 2 carry on suitcases or if thats just a dumb idea? Thanks for the input!

Hi! Has anybody ever stayed at Beaches Edge Villa recently? Any thoughts? Most of the reviews I see posted are several years old.
Hey has anyone ever stayed at Zenaida Estate in Anguilla? Visited recently? Thoughts?
Hello, can anyone provide any advice on how early one should arrive at the ferry port to get their ticket, and clear customs? Would 30 min suffice? Also has anyone ever heard that sometimes ferries get delayed or cancelled or are they pretty reliable to leave on the dot?
Looking to book a potential vacation to the Zemi Beach House in May 2025, was wondering if anyone had insights to the weather at this time? Thanks in advance!
Hey all, I’m considering moving to Anguilla on a year long digital nomad visa from the UK. Wondering if there’s any tips / advice / general thoughts you think I should know / be aware of?
So my wife and I did Anguilla for our honeymoon years ago - staying at Cuisinart and Las Esquinas, which was an absolute gem - bummed that owner sold. Loved it and obviously had to come back.
We are visiting in late Nov/early Dec with our 2 boys. Staying at Aurora and FS.
We explored a ton of the island on our honeymoon and know a lot out there but not so much the best stuff to do with kids under 10. We picked a couple nights at Aurora for the water park specifically, and we’ll have a car to explore once we leave there and stay several days at FS.
So any can’t miss stuff for the kids to enjoy? Much appreciated!
Hi all! Looking for budget accommodations during high season 🤪 Heading to SXM on Dec 14 and thinking to go to Anguilla on Dec 30th. Our flight leaves from there on Jan 11th.
Anyone have or can refer us to a more rustic traditional cabin? Glamping?
I already checked out Airbnb.
Thanks! 😊🏝️☀️🩵🐠
I may have some time off work in November and was thinking of visiting Anguilla solo for 4-5 days. I would fly in and probably stay somewhere by Rendezvous or Mead's Bay. I'm not trying to cover every square inch of the island, but I'd definitely love to explore the above beaches and check out The Valley for a bit for some souvenir shopping and stuff like that.
Would it be necessary to rent a car, or could I get by hiring a taxi to get around? It seems like 3 taxi rides a day would end up being somewhere around US$60, maybe? That seems like it would be about the same as renting a car plus paying for gas, and I'd rather not deal with driving on the left. And I definitely don't want to have to drive if I go out and have a few evening drinks.
On a related note, is it possible to walk along the secondary roads to get to restaurants and bars within the main tourist areas? Just from the pictures, it looks like Anguilla might be easier to walk around than, say, Bermuda (where 70% of the roads have stone walls on either side of the roadway). And are there hiking trails to explore?
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts/suggestions!
Wife and I will be coming in January. We usually hire a boat to take us around when we are in the islands. Are there locals that would do this? Can you simply get picked up from the beach? We will be in Meads beach.
Thanks!
How safe is staying in the east end village? And Mimi’s bay beach as a solo female traveler?
Hello to the beautiful people of Anguilla. I'm a university student studying Psychology and Statistics. In a Max Planck Institute project where I am researching online platforms preferences and governmental regulation, the West Indies are currently underrepresented. Let's change this!
Please take the time to take this 5-minute survey and I will love Anguilla forever: https://mpib.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9HmdL6BsUFYMS5U?Q_Language=EN-WI
We will be in Anguilla for 9 nights in January, and we are staying at Serenity Cottages. I never see reviews of this place, so can someone provide info on this place? We’re on a budget… so if you don’t recommend this place, could you provide examples of other similarly priced places?
I received a call from my uncle yesterday and he told me that I am a heir to a land parcel in Anguilla.
I was only told this verbally over the phone, but not officially. My uncle lives in the US and I was born in Anguilla but grew up in Europe. What should I do now?
Hello!
My husband and I originally planned to visit St. Martin for my 30th birthday in March. As I’ve done more research, Anguilla seems like it is much more of what I wanting for my trip. However, my husband’s 30th is in June (we’re taking a trip for his birthday as well), so we are trying to keep accommodations for each trip to no more than $2000 for 5 nights. I’m having trouble finding many options in that price range that are also on the beach and near bars/restaurants. Looking more at meads bay, shoal bay, and sandy ground. Does anyone know of any places that would be a good fit for us and in our price range? We will rent a car and be able to drive around the island but would definitely prefer to be close to beach bars and restaurants.
Hello all good people!
My wife and I are planning our vacation and this year we will try to travel westbound and spend a few days in Anguilla.
We've been having trouble to find ferries fron St. Martin to Anguilla, since aparently it's the vacation time. Will there be any ferries, and if so, how often will they go, and what do they cost?
Would it be worth to rent a car, or are there busses/taxis to reach all of the island?
Will much of the restaurants be closed in September, or is there business as usual?
Sorry for the many questions, but we're really excited!
Hello all!
I am trying my best to compile a few different recipes from all the remaining British overseas territories and have been hitting a few snags with some places less familiar to myself. While I have an endless resource for Saint Helenian dishes (my mum), I’ve found that other territories have little written online that I can easily access or are dominated by foreigner-focussed cuisine for tourists. So I was hoping that I could get some help on the most popular local dishes, whether that be culturally unique or just tied to our colonial legacy. It could be breakfast, lunches, dinner, desserts, or even drinks. Just a general idea of what’s popular. I appreciate the help in advance.
In town for a few more nights. Anyone know when Bankie usually plays at the Dune? Want to see him if possible
We are taking the public Ferry from St Marteen to Anguilla. Is there any car rental in the port?
We are taking the first ferry in and the last ferry out. We want to rent a car and to visit as much as we can in 6-hours. Thank you
Hey everyone - my partner and I are arriving 1 night early (by design) before a big family vacation begins at a rental house in Shoal Bay - looking for suggestions to make the most of it. Thanks in advance!
What are the best boat trip excursions on the island? Like to some snorkel spots, food/drinks provided, paddle boards, etc.
