I was buying a treadmill for Christmas and I noticed that there was no sales tax charged, even though it was listed, any idea why this is?
Sending here because I think it might be related to some state tax law.
A man once arrested for a double-murder in Meade County as a juvenile has now been arrested for the murders of two men found inside a burned-out Elizabethtown residence.
Dustin M. Caudill, now 45, was released in 2020 after serving 27 years in prison but was arrested again in 2022 for violating his parole (new charges - Criminal Trespassing & Assault 4th DV). He was ordered to serve out the complete sentence from his 1995 conviction, which was completed earlier this year. Caudill was released from custody in July.
On October 30, 2024, authorities say he confessed to shooting a Muhlenberg County man and another man in Hardin County, Kentucky, and then setting the home on fire. The bodies were discovered by responding fire personnel as they extinguished the blaze. ...... ............ (Links below provide additional info)

I’m a new business in Winchester and Clay city. I have a lab and make Kratom extracts. Looking for advice on where to sell and on store that might carry my product
I was worried about it because it said that "insane" people wouldn't be able to vote anymore, but that's really vague and I don't think insane is a medical term anymore. Is it a legal term or anything?
My mom is volunteering today and she was telling me last night about our county hiring 3 “election challengers.” I had never heard of this before. Apparently, these are people who can step in before someone votes and challenge their right to vote? They can say they don’t think this person should have been registered. Then both parties have to sign a form - the challenger signs why they think their vote shouldn’t be valid, and the voter signs that they are registered and have the right to vote. She even showed me where this was in her election volunteer training packet - it’s legit.
I’m not challenging this (no pun intended lol) but I’m confused. How does a challenger determine someone is eligible to vote or not? How are these votes decided to be counted or not counted? Forgive my ignorance. I tried googling this and got even more confused.
Here’s the line for my polling place in Hebron. Get out and vote if you haven’t already!
Nearly 3/4 of a million people participated in early voting. Way to go KY! It was great seeing people dressed up for halloween at the polling place. This needs to become tradition. One more chance tomorrow? Does anybody know if KY is allowed to count absentee or early ballots before election day?
