Does anyone know anything the Walker house? I’ve heard they are moving a residential sober living house in my neighborhood and I’m concerned after googling the owners name. Apparently earlier this year he was arrested because while was on parole the officer found AR15s, meth pipes and cash.
Just curious if anyone knows anything about this guy. He was exonerated (I think) from the charges but I’m curious to know more. Thanks all!

Join Ghost Host Jamie Gillette as she delves into Winchester’s ghoulish past and spins stories of murder, mayhem and ghostly apparitions during the Winchester Haunted Walking Tour.
Travel along the original brick sidewalks of Winchester’s historic Thomson neighborhood and through the darkened streets of the Downtown Historic District as Gillette discusses reports of ghost children and the deadly cholera plague that hit Winchester in the 1800s.
“I will be discussing the history of the buildings and neighborhood that I have found through my research of Clark County,” said Gillette.
Among her discoveries? “Several deaths by poisoning and shootings and an accidentally thrown oil lantern,” she said.
The two-mile tours take place 7:30-9 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays through October, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 28. Proper footwear is suggested, and flashlights will be provided. Tickets are $21/person.

Look - political opinions, especially these days, are like butts: Everyone has one, and they all stink.
We are not having political hissy fits in this community period.
I will delete them, and I will block you from the community.
It's that simple.
Please do not suffer under the delusion that this is a democracy.
No joke. A pet Boa is on the loose around Stratford Glen and last seen on Hood.
Not new news, has been on the loose for about 3 days now. See images and phone number below. Its reported to be ~8-10 ft in length. Shouldn't be to hard to recognize.
Owner dearly wants it back, worried it may be destroyed, despite having a gentle temperament.
Ive recently moved to winchester. I know very few people and have nothing to do after work in the evenings, that being said, i enjoy billards even though i am horrible?

I'd like to hear what you think are the top three improvements that Winchester needs.
My own:
Right now, Kroger and Walmart are it, and I'd love to see Aldi, or even Publix come in here and steal their lunch money. Aldi, especially, would be wonderful even if just from a sheer "You'll save a ton of money" standpoint.
We've got too many fast food, pizza, Chinese and Mexican places, and not enough of everything else. I realize that economically, these are the least expensive, but I'd love to see even a Chik-Fil-A, Thai, Indian, a good old fashioned deli, or something else to offer a variety of tastes and experiences.
It amazes me just how much is going on here in town, but you never hear about it in advance! You hear about it if/when it gets a mention in the Winchester Sun. I'm constantly saying "Man, I would have liked to have gone to THAT" a great deal. With a town this small, I would assume there would be a focal point for information, and that it would be the Sun, and that we would know well in advance, but this is also where being a small town newspaper, and thus, thinly staffed, works against you as well.
Matt Cizek can't do EVERYTHING :)
Looking forward to your responses!
Yeah, I know it's in Lexington, but hey - Winchester DOESN'T HAVE A BURGER WEEK.
Get on that, Chamber of Commerce.

They've been here in Win for a while, but have moved into their new home downstairs, front and center, on Main Street!
There's always a nice crowd there, and they seem to have something going on almost every night!
I'm more of a tabletop gamer myself, but I know these games are STILL wildly popular!

Here's the latest issue!
There's a link to subscribe in the upper left hand corner; give them your email and find something new to do in town!

I (foolishly) had high hopes for some new food options going in there. A Jersey Mikes, Penn Station, Greek or Indian restaurant, pretty much anything. I pass by them today and the main big building has a Sir Pizza sign. Sir fucking Pizza, possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had, is moving from a shitty building to a brand new building. I’m sure the rest of the buildings will be nothing exciting (paint store, law/real estate firm, dollar tree, bank, car wash, etc). This town refuses to move forward and continues to lag behind other towns surrounding Lexington.

Who remembers this on an overpass on I-64 and does anyone have any backstory?
Did anyone actually Win with Willard?
