Hi guys. I made a post at the beginning of the year saying I failed my first exams. I have put much time in to studying and getting better and I now have failed all of my exams. I feel like a failure and I’m worried about financial aid being taken and failing 2 classes. My grades in my other classes are great but it’s just those 2 I can’t seem to get through. This semester is so hard and I don’t know what to do. I thought I was able to get my grades up but I don’t think I can. Any advice will help. Thanks

i got a notification that i was offered the provost scholarship but it wasn’t what i was expecting to get. i got the lesser amount even though with my gpa and act score i should be getting the higher scholarship. i sent an email to uk about this mishap this morning but i haven’t received anything back yet. my main concern is my application for competitive scholarships being cancelled if this lasts past dec. 1 and i get no email back? any advice would be helpful.
I am currently applying for two separate graduate programs at UK (clinical psych and counseling psych) and am confused whether I just need to submit my transcript to the University’s graduate office once or twice? This might be a dumb question but I am partially worried they’ll need two separate copies but all transcripts are sent to the same office anyway? Any advice is welcomed cause the grad office is closed for the holidays!!
Hello everyone. I have to take upper level finance classes, meaning 400-500 level. I can’t think of which classes to take. If anyone has some recommendations and what you guys did in the class u took, it would be a great help.
I just got into UK today but when I applied I applied to the two scholarships that you had to write the essay for. When do I know if I got it or how do I know.
I am an incoming grad student to UK next year, so I'm looking for off campus housing. Does anyone have any tips specific to Lexington (ex: places I shouldn't live at, places where other grad students live, ect.)?
Is the scholarship provided to international students?
Is UK 101 a freshman-only course? Thank you.
Hii! I’m a WRD major with a love for fashion. I’m trying to figure out if making a fashion club would be cool or if there’s other clubs with that theme. Ik the fashion crew has been inactive this year so…🤷🏾♀️
What are the easiest classes you guys have taken? and easiest professors?
Anyone else noticing any issues.

So, I’m a uprising Junior in ME. I need to change computers cause my previous laptop is kicking the bucket. I used to have a Dell Inspiron 15, but I also had a Mac before. I really want to go back to Mac since I love the ecosystem and UI, and my life is overall easier with it. However, I know engineering requites Windows based laptops. A friend in CS told me about the Virtual Den that UK offers via the Citrix workspace, and I was wondering if anyone has used it before, and if so, if you’d recommend I stick with a new M4 Mac or rather go the Windows route. Also, I’m open to any computer recommendations.
I’ve heard of ANT103, GEO, any others? thoughts?
I’m currently a freshman at uk and i’m trying to switch to nursing due to the fact i didn’t get in to pre nursing originally when I applied. I know some schools have small amounts of spots. Is it possible to switch to nursing or am I going to have to transfer?
I am a BA music major and part of my requirements for my degree is to have so many credits in another discipline within the fine arts school. I personally hate art. Theater is a ehh. Education is a no rip. So I am left with dance and arts administration. I think both are interesting but I think it'd be nice to have a movement class like dance and also just learning dance sounds fun. I've always enjoyed being active so I've put some thought in trying dance however all the classes are requirements for dance majors so I'm not sure how open they can be for someone with no experience. Like I know for most every other major this wouldn't be a thing but at least for music you have to have a strong back ground in music to take music classes. If a person just takes music theory 1 with no background 1. they wouldn't be allowed and 2. they would struggle greatly. This is why there are very few music classes that count towards the gen ed fine arts credit. Anyways enough with rambling how's TAD 140? What was the public performance at the end of the semester like?
I was wondering if anyone has taken TAD 143 or MUC 155 before? Is MUC 155 mostly group discussions or do they mix in other activities? Also, how are the final grades structured for both of these classes? Like, is it mostly based on exams, projects, participation, or something else? And if there are exams, what are they like? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! I applied to UK’s MHA program about 3 weeks ago. I got an email saying they’ve received my application and would review it. However, I haven’t heard anything since. Was just wondering if anyone had experience with their admissions or when I could expect to hear about next steps! I know the program does interviews but I’m unsure if they interview everyone. Also if anyone is currently in the program, I’d love to hear your experience!!
The question is in the title, whats an easy I guess brain dead class I can do to complete my Global Dynamics core requirement.
I have university sponsored health care as a fully funded graduate student. I have not used it yet but have a Dr. appointment later today. When i try to register on anthem or the app, it does not find my information in the system. I imagine I am supposed to use my student ID number. Has anyone else had problems with this?
Wondering the process for such, common app.
