Bonuses: Up to $40,000 (depends on the job)

Healthcare: Free and fully covered

College: Free ($4,000 a year while in service and then the GI BILL after serving at least 3 years)

Extra pay for housing, food, and uniforms

Multiple Pay increases: A) every January when Congress votes B) every two years of service completed C) every time you get promoted

My family is from Owensboro/ Utica. I use to live here as a child but was moved with my family to Youngstown, Oh. As a young adults now with kids we’re looking to relocate back down to KY. My only concern is I only know this area from memories as a child and visiting for holidays (most memories are slow lazy days just hanging out with family, visiting smothers/legion parks or driving out to the country). I want to know some personal opinions of what life is like for you. Would you recommend? What do you love/hate. What are the schools like. What fun opportunities are there?

What it’s like in Youngstown: BORING, people are hateful (not all but a lot), we live in an area with a lot more crime than I’d like. I feel bad for our children. Schools do not care about education. You can find an okay paying job, most places are hiring but never seem to actually hire anyone. For the most part it’s very affordable living here, easy to find a house. We have a hard time finding family friendly things to do. We do live an hour from Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Akron which is a plus for finding things to do. We’re having a really hard time making any meaningful connections as adults to people in our community.

I know CPR and have a life vac! I have a 1 year old myself and I charge $20 a day! I live on 231 message me if interested!

moving to town from eastern KY to be closer to family, and looking for some moving help.
