Does anyone have any info on the people who are running for DCPS school board? I found one for the OPS candidates, but I couldn't find one for these guys.
His Church is known for diving into politics... like being part of the insurrection on January 6th. Can someone please tell me WHY this place was chosen to be a polling location?
A quote from Brain Gibson, the pastor of this "church" that was in attendance to protests at the capitol on January 6, 2021:
“I absolutely 100% believe this election was stolen,” Gibson said. “They are manipulating the numbers ... I 100% believe the election was a sham and I’ve seen boatloads of evidence.”
WHY IS THIS FACILITY TRUSTED TO BE A POLLING PLACE?!?!
Has there been a recent surge in population because I swear before mid August there were not this many people driving and why are so many of them idiots so many wrecks recently over stupidity . Can someone please explain
Going to be moving in a few months and was wondering where the good options are. Mostly want decent prices with decent to good quality. Any help or suggestions are much appreciated.
Does anyone know if they drug test you here while you’re taking dui classes? It’s been over 10 years since dui just trying to get my license and heard they may drug test?
Does anyone know of any places hiring
Hey all, the air show is coming up this weekend and I plan to travel there this weekend. Is there any insider tips you all may have for the show? Where to park? Where to watch? Anything someone not from there should know? Thanks!
$5000 cash reward for the recovery of a small white jewelry box and its contents. It was stolen from my pickup truck Wednesday night, 9/5/24, while parked at the Home2 Suites in Evansville.
Hey all… I’ve lived here for 8 years but still feel as if I don’t know the town well…
I need my mother’s ring she left me fixed. I had a quote from Nick T Arnold but it seemed rather high… so idk.
Are they a reasonable place around here?
moving to town from eastern KY to be closer to family, and looking for some moving help. All of the quotes I’ve gotten have been over $500, but i’m just looking for a couple people to help take the heavy shit off the u-haul and into the apartment (and we’ve got a furniture dolly, so mostly just off the truck lmao). I’ve seen ads for Community Labor Partnership, but it honestly looks like a scam and the reviews i’ve read haven’t been promising. Does anyone here have any recommendations?
Most of my experience is with DMing. Dungeons and dragons, and a little Call of Cthulhu.
I'm just looking to get into a game or get one going as a DM. Are there any groups on Facebook that I can check out? Where do people play in town of they aren't playing at someone else's house?
no disrespect intended but how has ole south not gotten in trouble yet? every time i walk in there i see children (definitely not 16 years or older) working in uniform and something feels very wrong about it. maybe its just me. love their food but idk maybe someone can shed some light on

If I don't see a group of Deadpools dancing to Bye Bye Bye at the upcoming Comic-Con this October, I will be sorely disappointed
I just moved to Owensboro a couple weeks ago and applied to be a substitute teacher here. I've already been approved but I'm wondering if it's steady work? Do you get called in most days of the week? Just wondering if this is going to be enough to live on or if I will need to find a second job in addition to this. Thanks!
EDIT: Also any insights people can give me into substitute teaching would be great, I've never done it before and just left college a couple months ago with a completely different degree and have no idea what to expect
Does anyone have any connections for any non-profits/schools/programs that would take watercolor supplies? We've got tons of paper, pigment, and other miscellany that we'd like to donate. This is mostly student-grade quality (i.e. not professional, but not bargain bin).
Thanks!
