I've bought a townhome in the general vicinity of Marschall and 17th. I'm very much looing forward to moving, and not least of all getting out of downtown Minneapolis, the city in general really. I close in mid-March and am looking forward to exploring the trails along the river, there appears to be quite a bit to explore. Anyhow, if it matters: 51 years-old male and single.
I’m traveling from out of town and am wondering if it’s difficult to get an Uber or Lyft right now? I know this is the case for many cities, but will be seeking to catch one from the casino.
Thank you!
What does the GS in gs labs stand for? I can’t seem to find an answer anywhere online.
Hello everyone!
I’m a genealogist & I am trained in discovering local Minnesota family lineages and stories through historical records.
This is the interest form I put together for anyone interested in learning more about their Minnesota family history. I create family trees, historical road trip itineraries, ancestral maps, etc! It’s a super cool way to connect with your own history and great knowledge pass down to future generations.
Here are some things you can discover from my research:

What is everyone's favorite place to go in Shakopee and why?
AMA
My name is Dustin. I started a small repair shop February in Shakopee called Tech Fixers near the downtown on Marshall Road & 3rd Ave E. I was working out of my house and full-time for someone else before this. My full time job was in Minnetonka doing similar work. After (some) preparation in January I quit my job to start my own shop. I didn't do a franchise because I wanted to have more of a professional services vibe rather than focus on retail.
Most of my business is phone screens, batteries, computer repair, etc
I also fix pretty much anything with a circuit board. I do circuit testing, soldering, hot air rework and more. I also re-build battery packs for cordless tools, etc.
In addition to the typically iphones and samsungs I fix lower end devices some other shops don't want to bother with. I fix Motorola, LG, kindles and more.
Today I just fixed a gaming PC and then fixed the handheld pendant thing for a CNC router..... If I think I can help I am up for the challenge!
Hello, if anyone in the Shakopee area is looking for someone to come clear their driveway when it snows, I am offering my services for $25 per session, any sized driveway.
I just moved into my first house and have a few things I need somone's help with. Hanging a couple of mirrors, I need to get into my attic to access the HD antennae, a few other nuts and bolts things. Does anyone know someone or have recommendations? Thanks!
Recently moved to Shakopee (from another MN town) - is this sub active? I'm looking to meet new people in the area. Thanks!
Anybody know which bars in the area have the NFL Sunday Ticket?
Pretty self explanatory, looking for a cheap oil change, maybe one that comes with an inspection? Thank you!
Does anyone know what the depth contour profile is in Quarry Lake near the Amazon Sortment Center?
Has anyone tried ice fishing out there?
A red RAV4 pre2005 vehicle turned into cnty road 41 off of 2nd street I believe. It wasn't until the turn offs for the fishing boat launches that you turned on your headlights then proceeded to drive within a car length of my 1 ton van with a curt hitch.
Yes I am fucking insured, as you are drunk behind the wheel. But you will be disabled or in a fucking body bag if you rear end me.
I really wish the police or deputies would start pulling people over for tailgating.
And by the way law enforcement I do own this hideous looking and vastly more powerful van. I am fucking insured and I pull over to the shoulder a few to several times a week to avoid having a local redneck suicide him or herself by rear ending me. Start pulling these assheaps over and cite them.
Normally I am open-minded. Yet the type of people who live in the past and envelope themselves in a "2nd life" fantasy of escapism really unsettles me.
Now exactly how do you avoid this seasonal pocket of people? And what roads do fair attendees use and at what time of day?
I was forced to go to RenFest as a kid, both times I got stung by a wasp urgent care visit and once when I was an early teen some dillweed who considered himself a "strongman" lifted me up and one hand sqeezed one breast and the other hand groped my butt/groin setting me down. I my neck/throat was starting to constrict/swell and thus restrict airflow (got massively dizzy swinging me down to the ground) otherwise I would have punched that cunt in the nutsacks.
When you live in Shakopee how do you avoid this group of persons? are they required to not shower/practice hygeine so you can smell them a mile off?
I know there are Shakopee dwellers on Reddit. Why are you not using this to talk about local things? Are you using /twincities or /minneapolis to talk about local things?
