Does anyone know any of the retail coming to the Avienda project?
Looking for a fun group activity in or around Chanhassen. Prince centric would be a plus!
So I have 4-5in curly hair and am looking for a stylist who can just work their magic on me. I have no idea how to style it and want someone who will just take the lead and start cutting how they think it’ll look good with limited input from me.
I run a bar/brewery trivia company, and I'm looking for high-energy people to host games for us in Chanhassen and other Minneapolis suburbs! We are adding more new bars now and are needing new hosts.
I provide everything for you. All you need to do is host for an hour and a half. It's a fun side hustle and you usually get free food/beer. Pay is $50 per game. You can commit to as little as one night per week, or more if you'd like! I’ll work to make it fit your schedule.
If you'd like more information on the job or to apply, check out my website!
I see very little at Lake Ann
Will be relocating to the southwest part of the metro area and would appreciate others’ perspective on this area in terms of quality of life, ability to find good homes, crime and safety concerns and what the political climate is. We’re a Gen X couple, so schools are not a concern.
I'm building a neighborhood map to help people explore different areas of Chanhassen. You can learn about number of bedrooms, size of homes, range of years built and values in all the different neighborhoods of Chanhassen. Click on the purple highlighted areas to learn about the neighborhoods, or the yellow highlighted areas to learn about the downtown areas near Chanhassen. You can also click all the different pins to see some details about the parks, restaurants, shops and schools.
I'm also writing some more detailed information that will eventually be linked to all the different neighborhoods. A few are linked, but most of that is still to come.
I would appreciate any feedback on how useful this is to learn about the area, what you disliked, and what other features might be cool if I were able to add them. Ultimately, this is meant to be a tool to be useful for people researching if they want to move to the area, or look into a different area of the city.
Here is the link to the Chanhassen Neighborhood Map. Thanks for taking a look!
Any heard about Comcast coming to Chan?
Does anyone know what restaurants and shopping are going to be built in the Avienda project?
Hey there! I'm moving to this area soon and these are the interenet options my apartment provided me. They recommended Arvig and I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with them? I am going to be working from home and playing games online with the friends I'm leaving behind, so I need a reliable connection.
I appreciate any insight anyone can give me!
Hello, looking to donate clothes to somewhere other than goodwill. Any suggestions in the area?
Here’s my power rankings of all the restaurants in Chanhassen. I’ve eaten at all of them--most multiple times; these are my personal opinions. To qualify for this list, the restaurant must serve proper prepared meal food. Prices shown are in 2022 for a selected main dish and a soft drink--your choices may cost more. These are my opinion only and none of them has paid or contacted me at all.
2023 March UPDATE: Added Thaliwala at #11.
My go-to top ten
I’ll go back for sure
Good enough for once in awhile
Why bother
The Worst
Gone but not forgotten: Café Thyme, Chuckwagon Charlie’s, Taco Depot, Byerly’s sit-down restaurant, Perkins, Frankie’s, Sub Zero, The School II, Nothing Bundt Cakes
Not restaurants: Caribou, Starbucks, Chanhassen Brewing/Dandy Lion Coffee, Paragon Bakery, Kwik Trip
Best of very near Chanhassen: Tavern 4&5, Aurelia’s, North Coop, Detello’s, Olive’s, the Suburban, La Hermosa, Kowalski’s, Lion’s Tap, Mr. Pig Stuff, India Palace, Taste of Asia, Willy McCoy’s
EDIT 2023-07: Jersey Mike's moved up a bit due to reconsideration of its good quality and $2 extra meat charge.
So where am I off base? What's your favorite and why?
Hello! We are moving to Chanhassen next month and I’m wondering how to best find a job for myself. I was a former teacher and I’m all set up to sub, but would love to transition to an office assistant, data entry clerk, or admin assistant. There are so many online job sites; which are the best? Is there a better way? Let me know if you know of any places that are looking for a polite, hard working person with a nice telephone voice.
Can anyone recommend an internet provider for Chanhassen? I would also love to know where to eat or order from. Thanks!
I’m thinking of moving to Chanhassen and am concerned about the noise and vibrations from the train tracks. One house I’ve looked at is just a quarter of a mile away and even with trees I’m not sure if that’s enough. Any opinions?

Hi all,
Just moved to Chanhassen, other than goodwill any other areas nearby that take donations? Got a lot of stuff to get rid of after unpacking from the move.
Thanks!
Hi all, new to the area. Can anyone recommend a touchless car wash near us?
