Hello! i am from an Italian-American family. I moved to this area and I am desperately trying to find authentic-ish food, as close to what I grew up with as I can get. Are there any other Italians who can give some recommendations? I am especially trying to find New Haven or NY style pizza, cannoli, and true Italian bread (crispy crust, chewy interior).
Is there any ISP in there area that are charging 75$ or below for monthly fees? Right now, I'm paying 110$ for my internet.
My friend (18F) and I (18F) are about to become college freshmen. We're planning on moving into the Coon Rapids area early August, we'd love another female college freshman to be our third roommate.
We want to find an apartment thats about $1800 a month, so we can each pay $600 as that is within our budget. A roommate's wants and needs are just as important, and if we all decide it's a good match we can discuss boundaries, chores etc.
Neither of us are looking for a new best friend (but that would be great too!) We just want somebody who is considerate and relatively cleanly.
DMing is the best way to reach us!
Any advice on roommate hunting is welcome too.
New to Coon Rapids/Blaine area. Is it possible to meet someone hanging out or everyone dating online around here?
Does anyone want some Girl Scout cookies? My scouts will be delivering this week and next! You can order here for delivery or pickup - can pay with credit card or Venmo online for free delivery right to you! Other free delivery dates are possible as well, or you can have them shipped anywhere in the US (shipping fees apply). Thank you for supporting your local Girl Scouts!

starting a short term gig in Coon Rapids and wondering what are the vibes to the surrounding areas/suburbs? looking for a 3(ish) month rental in a cool spot not too far from Coon Rapids.... Hoping for a hispanic area? Lived in South and Central America for a bit. Just hoping for any kind of input about what the general feel is in each i.e. strip-mall central, diverse, industrial, hipster. Ive never lived anywhere in The Cities so any input is appreciated!
Nice 2 year old 3 seat couch. Tables and a some chairs.
I recently moved to the area and I regularly walk through some park trails running along the creek. The water seems like it's in good condition and flows quite fast but I haven't seen a single person fishing. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me
Do you guys know anyone around here? If anyone can come to my garage or their garage and do it would be fine also.
Moved here recently, trying to downsize. We do have lots of stuff and not sure where to put them. We've been to thrift stores several times, but there are like broken things...
Lot's of police activity on Hanson S. of 10 in the past 15 minutes. Anyone know what's going on?
Neighbor Stop Gas Station located at 10635 Quince St NW is hiring.
If you are:
Pop in to the store and pick up an application from one of our friendly employees or apply at NeighborStop.com!
I recently moved to CR from closer to the cities. I am looking for a decent local (or the closest) Fettuccine Alfredo (or similar Alfredo dish). Any suggestions?
I tried Pizza Flame and Mansetti's recently. I am pretty sure they use the same frozen supplier because they both came in the same container and were horrible.
I also noticed Barzini's or Buona Sera. My family went to Buona Sera and said it wasn't great. Does anybody have experience with either of these?
If anyone can recommend anything close. Maybe Maple Grove? Help!
Moved here from South Suburbs.
I know we are in the middle of a pandemic but hopefully things will get better soon. New to CR and would like to make some friends, what are you guys favorite places to hang out?
Hello!
I am moving to Coon Rapids from Southern Minneapolis here in few months, and I was just hoping to learn a little more about the area!
I'd love to hear what you all think is important to know, be that favorite restaurant, tips on good mechanics, vets, the best parks, etc.
Thanks!
I know it's a long shot that the owner sees this, but just in case -
I really tried to get your cat help. They were run over on Northdale Blvd, by Costco. I didn't see the accident, just the aftermath. I called the police but I don't think they could have done much. I'm so sorry. I'm heartbroken that I couldn't do more, and I can't imagine if that were my cat.
Please, to all cat owners: keep your cats inside. It doesn't matter how much they like going outside, they negatively impact ecosystems and they can easily be hurt if not supervised. I don't know if this was an outdoor cat or if it escaped, but either way I don't blame the owner. My heart goes out to them.
I've been living in Coon Rapids for several months, and I still get lost. What are the main roads I should know about here in CR and Blaine.
