A space for Burnsville Minnesota residents to react and reflect

I'm asking this question on behalf of my parents, who are really struggling to make ends meet. Is it possible to apply for section 8 help in the state of Minnesota (or via the city, I'm not sure what is better), and get those funds to go towards where they live now? My parents are renting a home in a southern suburb of the twin cities, if that helps. Would their landlord have to participate in the program, or is this something they can apply for on their own? Any tips, advice, or general knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated.
I’m interning for a non profit that runs a food shelf and everything and I was looking to run a donation drive for them. Where are some good locations to hang up advertisements? I don’t have social media aside from this anymore and while I’ll share closer to the event, I was looking for places I can hang up or leave some fliers.
Absolutely disgusting. Smells/smelt like vomit lingering in the air? Anyone have any idea?
I'm looking for hardwood floor refinishing recommendations around the Burnsville area. I have about 600 square feet of really nice hardwood flooring with not so nice finish that needs to be sanded and recoated. Any help would be appreciated.
Curious if just my home or others
I was wondering if there was a rule about how close a driveway could be built to a property line? Or where I could find this information, thanks!
I’m new to the area and am looking to buy a new VW.
I see that Luther Burnsville VW has good reviews, but is that the only option around here? Thanks!
There is a mosque but I see Somalis only.
I saw that metcalf junior high closed some time ago. But I was wondering if the district kept on the teachers--thought if they don't have the students...how can you keep them around? I hope they didn't lay them all off. Does the district just reassign them?
I attended the school a while back and have recently been reflecting on my unique high school experiences I had. In our case, we spent our 9th-grade years at our middle schools. I remember the reasoning behind this decision was related to a arsonist man named Jeffery, although I couldn't find any information about his motivation. The reason I'm so curious is that I recall hearing rumors about him during my time at school. Some claimed he was angry about being kicked off the football team and decided to retaliate by "burning it all down." Now that I'm older, I realize how ridiculous that rumor was; people simply made it all up. Was the motivation due the schools use of Native American mascot? Was it some type of political motive?
