At the truck stop east of town on Hwy 14. This place is great, good food made by locals. Very low prices & great service. Best part is the hours are extensive- and I get there often cuz they're often open when everything else in town is closed. Way better than what you'd expect at a truck stop-- and they have a full bar that can pour you a Schell's Oktoberfest with your breakfast!

New ownership coming soon to the entire operation; hope they don't mess with the perks that The Ten20 Tavern offers. Love this place.

moving to Rochester?

I'm very dissaponted that the owner media conglomerate has decided to "scale down" operations in the Mankato area. KEYC-TV has been broadcasting from here for decades, and I hate to see a selfish corporate money-grab take advantage of this city and area.

Went today, picked up a can of chicken and there were mouse turds on the lid. Almost bought expired crackers if I hadn’t checked the date. Only one cashier and a huge line at self check out.

Overall it was a 0/10 experience.

I wish there was some community in kato to be able to express my love for punk rock. That’s why my band and I want to start a punk rock show in our basement for not just fans, but for other bands that possibly want to join us and create a line-up. If anybody is interested, let me know and we can make things happen.

Also if you think there are better ways to do this then posting on Reddit, let me know what I can do to make this reality. We are kids that want to share our love for punk rock music and would love to meet others that want the same.

Hello! I have a $675 1br 1bath unit in an house located near Old Town. Looking for a someone to take over the lease until July 2025 with possiblity of renewal. It is in a great location; walking distance from buslines, riverfront drive, and downtown but a couple streets away from the noise. Pets are very welcome in the building. Great for students looking for spring semester accommodations or single/couples professionals.

I have accepted and started a new job in another area - I am flexible with the move in date as long as its in the next two months.

hi! i am moving out mid november, relocating for work, but currently have at active lease so i’m looking to sublease it!

1 bed 1 bath, and of course a kitchen and living room. rent is 775 /month + electric and wifi! the electric is provided by excel and wifi by spectrum! it’s about a 11 minute walk to the uni and hardly a 5 minute drive! located at highland hills.

ground level unit so no pesky stairs, very helpful during grocery trips hehe.

i have very quiet + polite neighbors and have never had any noise disturbances!

i am moving out nov 15, and willing to hold the apartment for the right person!

for those it concerns, allowed up to 2 cats, or 1 cat and one dog. small animals allowed! there is a pet deposit for any cats or dogs but that only applies if you tell them you have a cat or dog wink wink

Just downloaded reddit. didn’t even know i had an account… I’m in town for a college visit at Mankato for hockey. I’m going to tonight’s game as well vs North Dakota. I toured the area met coaches all that stuff yesterday. I’m wondering what there is to do around the city. I really love the coaching staff and facilities but if there’s nothing to do in the city then it might drive me away from attending here. Any suggestions?

My fiancé’s background is in MIG welding and is hoping to find a job in that field or labor job. His dream would be to work with his hands, helping people along the way! If you have any advice on where to look and what companies are reputable, we would love the help.

We also are trying to find a rental property in that time frame and have started looking. We are searching for a single-family home, up to $2k rent, has garage and A/C.

We don’t have children or pets and I work remotely full time.
