I'm Back - new question about gyms

Hello! I have another question about Saint Cloud gyms. Does anyone know of a good 24 hour gym that isn't busy in the overnight hours? I am a bigger person, and have been actively judged at the gym of all places, and so I'm quite hesitant to start at a new gym that would be packed when I have time to go. The timing I am talking about is midnight-3am

Best Pho in town?

I’m newer to town, where is the best pho in the area? Used to really like Nana’s Bistro in Sartell but I guess they closed.

Local Political Activism

Does anyone have any suggestions for some local political activism? I’m increasingly unhappy with what is currently going on in our country, and I feel like I need to put my energy toward a change, even if it is something small.

I know St Cloud recently started a Democratic Socialists chapter, but I’m not sure if that is the right fit for me personally.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Moving stars

Just got from powder, live in Waite park, look in the sky and my buddy notices atleast 1 very bright start vibrating in place, and a couple more around them.

Anyone know what it is, or even noticed it aswell?

Lift Chair Repair

My mom has a power reclining lift chair that is not currently working. We tried to fix it ourselves with no success. Does anybody know of somebody who could do that kind of repair work in the area?

New to area, looking for some nerds/dorks/gamers to make friends with for game nights, DnD, or just hanging out

My GF and I just moved to the area (Clearwater) and are looking to make some friends who enjoy similar things. We are in our 30's/40's. Before we moved up here, we had a group of friends we hung out with and we would "rotate" hosting "game-nights" every Friday or Saturday evening. We are looking to make friends up here too that we can hang out with, play games, or just do things with. When not gaming, we also like hiking, movies, trying new restaurants, or just playing with our 2 dogs. When PTO allows, we also love traveling, though that seems to be getting more cost prohibitive these days.

Some of the games we played were: Ascension, Muffin Time, Karma King, Twilight Imperium, King of Tokyo/New York, and other less "standard games." Sometimes we'd all get together, and just end up chatting all evening. We're always up for learning new games too.

Me: early/mid 40's, loves turn based JRPG's, racing games, ARPG's such as Path of Exile/Torchlight, and Dungeons & Dragons. I like to build computers when I can afford to feed that expensive habit. I dabble in Linux, am currently on my 5th playthrough of Baldurs Gate 3, and have a soft spot for classic MMO's. I used to play Magic: The Gathering, but sold my collection a while back as it was becoming too expensive to keep up with the meta. When playing DnD, I tend to gravitate toward Rogues. I also like motorcycles (sport/super sport, not cruiser) but sold my last bike before our previous move.

Her: Mid-late 30's, loves reading fantasy romance novels (Fourth Wing & A Court of Thorns and Roses are 2 of her favorite series for reference, as well as some "spicier" titles at times too), watching netflix dramas and comedies, and also used to play Guild Wars 2 for a while. Her favorite games are: Horizon Zero Dawn, Assassins Creed, and other similar style open world rpg's. She most recently finished Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Hogwarts Legacy. When playing DnD, she tends to gravitate towards druids/rangers. (Something with making friends with wolves lol)

We both work Monday-Friday "office" jobs, so Friday nights are ok but Saturdays are best for us. We are always open to trying new games or finding new things to do.

Thanks in advance for reading, and hoping to hear from some great people!

Sta Fit

Does sta fit still only have the two locations open? I remember having a membership to sta fit a couple years back and they closed the Roosevelt location without notifying its members and still had to pay the same per month..

Pokemon TCG Locations / Restock times?

Hey all, I picked a horrible time to get into collecting the Pokemon TCG, I fully acknowledge this. That being said, do folks know where all (and when) in town stock the TCG? I know Target does but they're always out when I visit.

Best places to study/work (preferably with dual monitor capability)?

I'm a relatively new college student with a bunch of online classes. I'm finding that I'm having a little bit more trouble working/studying from home than I thought I would due to the number of distractions.

I'm aware of the obvious answers like the library or a coffee shop, but in your opinion, where are the best places to get some work done in the area? Huge bonus points for the ability to hook my laptop up to a monitor to run dual screens since I do a lot of technical computer work. Are there any places in the area that might offer access to a monitor?

Thanks!
