im tryna buy some, nobody knows me out here in st cloud
Moving to St. Cloud and know nothing about the area. I need a town no more than 30 miles from St. Cloud. I need proximity to a decent hospital. I'd like at least a one-bedroom apartment (not near a college and not a house). I have a cat and budget of $1100. I need to move within two months and my credit is meh. Are there possibilities or do I need my head examined?
As the title says, I just moved to the area. We had a store nearby where we used to live which sold 3-ingredient sourdough, and ended up being some of the best bread we ever had. Looking to see if anyone knows if/where I can find this in the Saint Cloud area? Also not opposed to driving down to Maple Grove.
Thanks in advance!
This might not be the best Reddit for this but I want to give it a shot since it’s local. I purchased a salvage yard where there is currently 20,000-30,000 parts. The stock was not inventoried before purchase and it’s so overwhelming that I want to hire someone skilled in inventory management to account for all the parts in the warehouse and create a management system better than what we currently use. Has anyone done this? Does anyone in the area do this kind of service and can it be hired out or am I screwed and responsible for inventorying 30,000 parts by myself?
The Lincoln Center has been a source of much consternation over the last few years, especially for the businesses along Lincoln Av. SE. It cannot be denied that shelter is needed for our homeless population, but it also has to be acknowledged that the Lincoln Center has caused substantial problems in the surrounding area.
At a recent zoning board of appeals (ZBA) meeting, many business owners and nearby residents testified about issues that they have had with residents of the Lincoln Center, which include theft, disorder, public urination, drug dealing, drug use, and suspected prostitution. Certainly, these issues adversely affect the businesses, and causes fear and discomfort for residents of nearby apartment buildings. At the same meeting, community paramedics, former homeless, and Lincoln Center employees also testified about the benefits of the shelter. The Lincoln Center provides food, mail services, internet, housing assistance, and housing. The ZBA voted to approve the staff recommendations at the end of the meeting, which was a compromise between the Lincoln Center and the city.
The city has an obligation to both maintain social order and provide for the homeless. It has been made clear that the current situation does not satisfy either obligation particularly well – taking the testimony provided as truthful, the Lincoln Center is responsible for an impermissible amount of disorder in the area. At the same time, we cannot get rid of the Lincoln Center as it provides critical services for the city’s homeless, along with the other shelters in the city. What is to be done?
Looking for ideas for a group of 20-50 for a Christmas Party around Saint cloud. Have done bowling, escape rooms in the past. Anyone have other ideas of things around St. Cloud?

What do you pay for spectrum and what are your internet speeds?
Curious what the general consensus is because everyone I talk to pays different rates and their website is so misleading with the prices. Their advertised “$30/mo” “$50/mo” are first year prices only and they don’t list anywhere, that I’ve found at least, what the prices are after the first year for wifi only. I don’t bundle anything at spectrum
I pay $83/mo for 400 mbps
I recently found a Nintendo Switch Lite that I believe I know the owner of. If anyone knows Madeline Stigman, could you please let them know that I would like to return it. I can also supply proof that I have it and am not just making stuff up. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Do we have any record stores in this area? I am a vinyl enthusiast and after nearly a few months of being in my new apartment, I finally set up my record collection and I would like to hit up the local shops (if there are any) to see what the have on wax either new issue or old pressings.
Hey I’ve been looking for a part time job in the morning. I’m 24 am willing to learn something new but I’ve been mainly a line cook or working in warehouses. Any leads I’ll be grateful for
Hello! I am considering starting an overnight childcare business in a few years, but am having a hard time find information on any in the area. Does anyone have previous experience? If so, how did it work, what was the cost, expectations(from both parents and/or providers), etc? Thank you!

That's disgusting. People are just deranged. I'll never understand the psychosis of wanting to hurt a child. Especially when there plenty of legal age women willing to hook up. At least we didn't have to read about a guy actually assaulting a child,

St. Cloud-ish local IT colleagues - I'm considering moving east from south dakota, currently live in an area with a severe lack of IT jobs. It looks like there's some senior level (and management) IT jobs in the area. Is that the norm? Obviously there are a lot more in the MSP metro area - but I currently live on a small acreage and would like to find someplace like where I live now - much easier to do closer to st. cloud than in MSP.
Where I live now, there's a handful of higher paying IT jobs and one opens up every 2-3 years, so if I were to lose my job I'd literally have nothing to choose from except entry level or Menards... I am looking to move my family to a place where we can afford a little place in the country but I am close enough to somewhere where there are at least some reliable IT jobs for me.
I've worked as an IT director the last 3 years, before that was in infosec as a sec. analyst for 6 years, and for 5 years before that I was in IT management again. I really don't want to take the pay cut to entry level if this job craps out (which it may, down the road).
Can anyone shed some light on the job market that might help me?
Thanks very much!
moving in February and going to miss all the antique shops at home:( I’m hoping there is some pretty cool ones here, let me know!
I’m going to Saint Cloud tomorrow to shop with my boyfriend, any fun places to go? Hidden gems? Restaurant recommendations?
Hey there my names Roc. Live in the saint cloud area. I'm an electric guitar player with about 18 years of experience. Used to perform live with various bands in the twin cities area, I've dabbled with some session recording and also have my own home recording studio (and practice space if needed in my basement). I'm friendly, easy going, very professional, learn my parts and want nothing but a drama free band. I enjoy all kinds of music but mostly a rock guitar player however I'm REALLY interested in doing something experimental. My goal is to organize or join a mix of musicians / backgrounds that don't typically go together all in one space making our own little flavor of music. While still doing covers for fun / getting gig purposes. So I guess I'm open to something traditional as well, especially if we are gigging.
I take after musicians like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai so expect a little bit of that out of my sound but I've tried very hard to be my own musician too. I have an extensive pedalboard and pedals so I'm very versatile as far as my sound and rig setup lots of effects, synth, stereo etc. I can go ampless too. I also know some music theory that can help us with writing. With a good singer we can get things off the to the races quite easily I think.
Here's an example of my chops.

Does anyone know what gas stations in town sell this?
Hey everyone, I just moved to St. Cloud yesterday and I’m looking for some open mics that allow poetry.
Moving back to St. Cloud after about 17 years away. I know there used to be Bakers and I think, R&R Hobbies in the area, but looking around all the actual hobby shops have closed.
Anybody know of any around still?
