Hey guys, this saturday is going to be my first game at the allianz and i was wondering if i would be able to bring a canon camera to stadium. my cousin went and they said he could’ t bring it and i was wondering if that might’ve changed.
There appears to be an overwhelming consensus that Chicho is deserving of some... individualized attention from the Wonderwall on Saturday.
Short of "Fuck you Chicho (clap, clap, clap-clap-clap)," anyone have ideas for how we can express our feelings? Meaner the better, though something simple enough that having it easily picked up (and audible) would be ideal.
How was the flight?
Did you even bother with a hotel or bnb?
How was the stadium?
How was the vibe before, during, and after the game?
How was the flight home?
YOU’RE MY WONDERWALL!
I’m assuming Club 90 by the grounds is solid, but if there are any other suggestions feel free to share!
Anyone else surprised by how many seats are still available? I thought for a playoff game on a Saturday night with relatively warm weather the tickets would have been gobbled up by now. Maybe there will be a last minute rush?
FLY MY LOONS, FLY!!!
I don't know what The Calling's nickname should be yet, but I know what I'm calling Allianz Field from now on.. .
Praying the soccer gods don’t see their prodigal son over here. Feel like we are just getting something going.
I'm not currently in the Twin Cities, but Chicago. I'm looking to get out and watch the game tomorrow, if anyone else in Chicago is interested. I was thinking about contacting The Globe, The Green Post, or AJ Hudson's to see if any would be willing to put the game on. If anyone else is interested, let me know! I don't know that'll I'll bother if it's just me haha.
Edit: It looks like AJ Hudson's is showing the game, I'll be there if any other Loons in Chicago want to join! The Globe
Anyone else who isn't in Minnesota, feel free to use this thread to organise meet ups elsewhere!
I have a vanload of fans from North Dakota coming down to watch the Loons play the home playoff game. I am wondering if there is any scheduled events prior to the game we should be aware of?
I am a Stl city sc fan and was at the game in Minnesota on 10/19. We wanted to get the poster they gave away at the pre match party but we missed it. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to part with it and ship it to me. I’ll pay for it depending on the price. Thanks!
Welcome to Free Talk Friday!
Are you new and have questions? Do you have non-MNUFC related stuff you want to discuss? This is the place to do it.
Keep it civil. Don’t be a dick.
Did you get one of the signs outside Allianz? If so take a closer look at the side with players. You may have a special sign! My soccer-wife grabbed one for me and put it in my yard. About an hour later I went to take my pup for a walk and noticed some fake signatures over Boxall and Lod. Upon closer inspection it appears that some signs are actually autographed by the players!
(I did offer the nice sign to her, but she turned it down. She had no idea when she grabbed them (she had also grabbed signs for Loons fans in the neighborhood))
This seems surprising considering we have the best odds of any lower seed of advancing past the first round
