Is this MLS cup worthy? Cuz I think so
Many of you knew Heidi Underhill through her constant presence at matches, tailgates, and CLTFC community events. Her passing left a giant hole in our community and so far we've raised $13,000 to support her four children.
We’ve partnered with Olive & York to introduce the Because of Heidi Kit, available for pre-order now. Proceeds from the kit will go toward Heidi’s family.
Heidi is from Vermont, so we had O&Y add splashes of Vermont Green and Tottenham/SBC alternate yellow to the traditional blue, in a design we know Heidi would have loved.

I haven’t seen much advertising or hype this year yet and not many upper bowl sections have been opened. Last year we got 62k to show up. We think we will get anywhere close or will the ongoing decline in attendance really start to show this year.
In the first episode of the New Year, David and Corey recap Charlotte FC's exciting offseason player moves, discuss at how the Crown looks in preseason matches, reflect on Patrick Agyemang's glorious winter and share opinions on the leaked new CLTFC kit.
Thought you guys might like this one—I run a podcast that caters towards business and Human Resources and had Aron Hyde on today! He’s considered one of the bigger names in Goalkeeping in America…the current GK coach at Charlotte, spent years with the U.S. men’s national team, including the most recent World Cup, MLS Cup winning coach with Atlanta. Check out his thoughts :)
Is there a reason the opening home game is @2pm and not a 7:30 kickoff? For a game like this I’d expect it to be a night game.
Is there an annual pass for parking in McNinch lot (same as supporters)? Our group would like to start hosting our own tailgate but still be a stones throw away from the rest of the supporters at McNinch.
If not, what is the fee per game?
hi, I’m a representative of AmerykańskaPiłka, a Polish portal dedicated to USMNT and MLS (our site is https://www.facebook.com/amerykanskapilka). Every year, we publish a MLS guide, and this year it will be printed again. We've added a new theme to this year’s guide because our plan is to interview passionate fans from each team about topics like matchday traditions, away days, tips on how to enjoy a match to the fullest, and include this in the guide. If we gather enough content, it will also be featured on the guide and our website. Here are the questions we’re asking:
What does matchday mean to you, which match are you most excited for, and what’s your best memory from away games?
what do the team colors mean to you, your experiences, traditions, how long you've been a fan, and when did you join the supporters' club?
Practical tips for European fans—what’s a typical matchday like, how to get to the stadium, where to stay, when to arrive, how to find the supporters' section, where to eat and drink, any specific spots where fans gather, is there a pub/bar, and what are the must-see places in the area around the stadium?
Is there any other sports team in the city worth checking out when we come for an MLS game?
Do you have a dedicated fan shop—does it exist at the stadium? Is it possible to tour the stadium? Is there a club museum?
Are there different supporters’ groups? If so, can you share a little bit about what makes each one unique?
Any special tips for newcomers? Which opponents should we go see, and which ones might not be as exciting? What are the prices for different matches?
Is there a chance to see how the supporters' groups prepare their tifo or banners?
If you have any other ideas, I'd love to learn something new
It’s almost spring, which means… It’s almost middle school soccer season.
Need an excuse to be outside more? Looking to do community service?
I/ we/ CMS needs coaches. Let me know if you’re interested and I can share more details.

Hey everyone! I moved to Charlotte from a city without an MLS team and want to fully embrace Charlotte FC this season. I’m looking for the best ways to get up to speed—what should I know about the team, key players, and expectations for the year?
Also, are there any good Charlotte FC podcasts or YouTube channels that would be great for my commute? Any big storylines heading into the season?
Excited to jump in and experience my first season as a fan—appreciate any insight! 💙⚽ #ForTheCrown
Charlotte FC almost always post a player press conference video on YouTube a few days after they sign. I keep looking, but there’s nothing yet for Zaha. I was hoping to see one for him and one from Dean to talk about the signing and how the first week has gone in Miami. I wonder what’s taking so long?
Their reasoning was that big players want big cities like NYC, Miami, LA and no one knows where Charlotte is. I said sure, but our advantage is being one of the best fan bases in MLS and if we continue to be even better, we 100% will land a big player.
Shortly after we got Abada and now have a star from Europe who will be one of the best players in MLS.
This isn't an "I told you so" by the way, it's a reminder to keep bringing the energy, especially in the supporter section! More big players will come. Bring your friends, what are the chances Zaha signs with us if we had one of the lowest MLS attendances or boring fans?
I really want to watch charlotte fc today however idk how to watch since i couldn't find it anywhere
Hey everyone. A final, sad farewell to our first DP....the King of Karolina, Karol Swiderski. Thankful for what he did for the club, but wasn't completely sure how he fit into the new squad. In fact, I'm not entirely sure WHERE the new DP spot his departure opens up would fit into our squad. Would love to hear all of y'alls thoughts. Here's my predictions for a starting XI based on last season and our new signings...
Zaha----------Agyemang-----------Abada
----------Biel----------Bronico/Diani------
---------------Westwood------------------
Ream-----Malanda----Privett-------Byrne
-----------------Kahlina--------------------
Personally, I think our biggest need is fullback depth. What we have behind Ream and Byrne makes me nervous. I like Joao Pedro for the most part but behind that it's slim pickings. DP-wise, I think what makes the most sense is to add a DP-level box-to-box midfielder, but Bronico and Diani have also done quite well in midfield so I'm not sure. I thought about striker, but Agyemang has really played well since last July. I'm all for adding a striker for depth and competition, but I wouldn't spend DP money on one. What do you all think?
EDIT: I'm now banging the drum for Josh Brownhill
I watched this interview with Willy P and loved all the insights about the club’s hopes for Pat. Gave me so much comfort about his future here! Obviously there’s no saying what kind of interest he’ll get from other clubs / leagues as time goes on, but love the trajectory. Thought others might enjoy given all the Pat chatter everywhere.
Two questions -
I assume there is no way to stream the pre-season matches happening in Miami, right? I think they referred to them as closed door.
What about Coachella matches? I remember the club streaming a Coachella match at the STM kit release party last year.
clearly desperate to get eyes on the squad
Scored from a tough angle tonight against Costa Rica
So hyped for this season.
