Looking to get a staff jersey, they were so well designed I really would like to buy one if possible! Anyone know of any ways to get one?
It’s time for the Central Conference Semifinals!
MN Aurora FC play IndyEleven
Keyworth Stadium, 3pm CT
Looks like we get Indy again on Friday at 4pm. Time to exact some revenge!
Didn’t see one. Video is on the RKC YouTube.
Seems kinda sudden? Is there a reason she is leaving? I just saw the email.
Let's assume we keep our position on top of the table after the next two away matches, what does the playoff structure look like for this season of USLW?
From the USWL website, there is a bit of a change to the playoffs now that there are over 80 clubs.
For the 2024 season, the playoffs will continue with sixteen clubs. Teams will advance to the playoffs from four conferences that include twelve divisions from across the country.
Seeding:
Each conference will have seeding applied to the first round of playoffs (Conference Semifinals). Seeding for each conference will be based off PPG. The USL W League will make every effort to avoid scheduling divisional opponents against each other in the first round. (See Seeding Example below). USL W League reserves the right to adjust the bracket as needed. USL W League will make every effort to maintain competitive balance within the bracket. Please note that hosts will be decided
based on host bid submission. Being the highest seed in your conference does not guarantee the hosting of matches, however, it will be one of the several contributing factors when deciding the host site(s).
With the goal of creating as much equity as possible, we evaluated each conference and each club’s chance of advancement to playoffs. Using the formula below, we designed a playoff structure that would regionalize travel for all early rounds and give each division the most equitable representation possible in the playoffs based on the number of teams competing with that division. Additionally, when establishing our playoff size and dates we also took into consideration player welfare as established by our best practices.
With this structure, in the first round of playoffs we would be with Detroit City, Indy 11 and River Light as the 4th.
