My question is it reprehensible to listen to Dealer? My story is I started listening to them about 4 weeks ago because Spotify recommended them to me and I think they are completely insane and the new album is at least top 3 for me this year. Now I only found out about the scandals and negative things about the band a few days ago, I still like them a lot but now it has such a bad aftertaste (funnily enough I've been listening to Pincer+ for a while)
I seriously miss them, The Weekly Slap to the Face came on shuffle and it hit me… “holy shit where have they been??” I saw something about them making new bands but couldnt find anything after. Any help? Please!
I’m curious if anyone in a band has ever done any experimenting with calorie tracking during a performance?
How many calories on average do you think a drummer, vocalist, guitarist etc would burn in a typical 45 minute metalcore live performance?
To all the people who made my first mosh pit experience fun.
Went to Wage War, Nothing More, Veil Of Maya and Sleep Theory tonight at Old National Centre. Hell of a show. The people in the pit were great. They complimented my INK shirt and were encouraging me to get in there. I even crowd surfed 3 times. If you were there tonight, thanks dudes and dudettes.
Spinkick Music
Hi there. my name is Mike. I am 20 years old, and I am blind. I have a very small field of vision in my right eye, and I'm completely blind in my left. I can see a little bit, but I wouldn't count on my vision for anything. Music is my passion. Since I can't see, my hearing is everything to me. I listen to music all the time. But the one thing that I cannot appreciate a lot of the times is the album artwork. Let me know if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure a lot of people judge an album by the artwork, because that's the first thing that they see.. I am unable to do this. This leads me to a question. Would anyone be willing to describe some album artwork to me? I don't know if this would enhance my listening experience or anything, but I'm always curious to know what the album covers look like. I recently came across a post here, talking about what album covers are the worst in this genre. A lot of people said Beartooth had some of the worst album artwork. And that got me curious. What makes artwork bad? And what makes artwork good? This is a concept that I just do not understand. It's so strange to me that so many people would agree that a piece of artwork is terrible. It's so confusing. But I digress. I don't know. I'm just going on a tangent here. The concept of judging album artwork just confuses the hell out of me.
So, I broke my right hand (my strumming hand) in two spots and I have a cast that restricts my fingers and wrist from moving. I’m in a band and I still really need to be able to practice while I wait 6 weeks to get the cast off. Does anybody know any kind of guitar practices you can do with a broken hand? Thank you.
I don’t know how to drive. As I Lay Dying is my 2nd favorite band, and I don’t have anyone who can take me up there with them. Is there anyone here going to see them who would be willing to tag me along with them?
FFO: Kublai Kahn, Incendiary, Harms Way
I haven’t heard of them, but this track absolutely slaps!
