Regarding the last North American tour, halfway through we all know Ahren was replaced for numerous reasons, some true, some not, depends on who you are, etc. Can we just praise who stepped up from True North? Tim Beken filled some heavy shoes, sure some songs he didn’t sing cause he couldn’t be Ahren, but come on.

2022 Amity were playing at Frankston @thepier and I didn’t realise or hear about it, I was guttered the show was sold out. I tried to get tickets every which way possible and it didn’t happen. So 2 weeks before the concert I thought Stuff it, I’ll Dm Joel on the rough chance he might see it, and nothing. 2 days before the concert the Amity’s Manger reached out to me and said that Joel saw my message and wanted you to know that he will organise a couple of tickets at the door for me on the night. And true to his word me and my friend Lined up and there was 2 tickets for me. Seriously it was so nice that even though Joel didn’t respond on the dm he still saw it and helped me out. Another reason they’re my favourite band!

Had my eye on this for a while, during the NA leg of the tour.

Now that the redux version has been out for a while, I’m curious to know which version people prefer. I’ve been playing the redux version consistently. I love him so much and seeing and hearing everything has been so hard on me. Parasocial relationships are odd. This band means a lot to me.

All the love in the world for Ahren, I know a lot of people in the sub are sick of the rhetoric around what’s going on. But it’s looking like he may not return after his break, along with him already working on solo projects. If Ahren doesn’t return to TAA, who could take his place as clean vocals? Who would you want to see in future albums? Would they attempt to replace him? Or perhaps drift closer to death core with just scream vocals

I know this is an insane long shot but wondering if anyone bought extra shirts from their Australian tour, particularly the one with tour dates, that they would be willing to part with please?

The merch line was insanely long at Riverstage and by the time I actually got through, they were all gone. I’ve tried to find online if there were any reruns or leftovers but I can’t find anything.

I try and collect a tour shirt from every show I go to so I was massively bummed to have missed out.

On his latest Instagram post he replied to a couple comments with things like he has “solo music on the way” and he’s “not interested in playing in a band he’s not welcomed in.” As much of a bummer as it is to read that, I’m super curious what type of music he will be putting out. Of course whatever is best for him he should pursue but can’t help but wonder what the future will hold for amity and Ahren’s solo career.

I'd love the chance to meet them and seeing all the American fans getting photos with them makes me super jelly of course 😂 Just wondering if anyone has any insights as to why they don't do that here in Aus.

So I’m going through a lot right now so I’ll keep it brief. So I’m going through mental struggles including Mental Health Episodes with Anxiety and depression (I won’t do anything drastic, I went through that already), My mother having health problems and having family issues. I was close to thinking about doing it until hearing Chasing Ghosts by The Amity Affliction. The song makes me have the strength to fight back. Thank you TAA

Has anyone else got theirs? I am curious to compare and see where I fall on the fan spectrum because I really have no idea haha

So the title says it pretty good. I´m think of getting an Amity related tattoo, but i somehow can´t think of a really fitting theme. It should be Amity related (obviously), but otherwise than that it´s pretty vague. To help getting ideas a bit more, here´s a small collection of things that would be fitting to me as a person:

• "My fucking mind is raging" (I´m a big overthinker)
• I´m a Ornithologist, so if a bird could have a way into it, that would be great (a Oriole would be fitting, but I´m European, so a European bird would be more fitting.
• Some of my Favorite/Meaningful songs are: Shine On; Never Alone; I Bring The Weather With Me; Not Without My Ghost; I Heart H.C.; Fight My Regret; Tearing Me Apart; Like Love & Give Up The Ghost.
• The coastal area/ocean is a place where I can regain energy (Ocean memes)
• The Logo or just a "typical" TAA thing would be nice

As it is the case with a tattoo, it´s a decision for life, that´s why I´m overthinking it so much (here we are again). Really want to be happy with it on short and long term. But my mind is also very limited on Imagination sometimes, so that´s why I´m reaching out for help/advise. A good tattoo artist would also help with design/decision and all, advising to think about it until the next appointment, I´m a ware of that. But I don´t know if they know TAA or could get behind them as much as I would, that´s also a reason why I´m gathering a few informations, just to help the artist a bit more as well. So yeah, anything is welcome for helping me sort this out.

I love the song, but this line cracks me up every time. Such a catchy chorus but there would be one too many syllables if it was "ce-ma-tar-ies". This is one of my fav amity easter eggs 😂

I have 1 ticket for the Adelaide show today but am super unwell last minute unfortunately. Happy to give the ticket away to whoever would like to attend since I can’t! It’d be a waste otherwise.
