Saw Nekrogoblikon tonight, and the representation and shoutout of Trevor by Dickie Allen almost made me cry. Truly missed and forever loved 🖤

I got an email on Thursday saying the show was canceled and that I’d get a refund. I thought it was spam but the venue website is also showing that it’s canceled.
I’ve been checking instagram to see if any of the artists have mentioned it, but haven’t seen anything. It seems like all the other shows have been going great too.
Anyone have any insight? Am I dumb and just missed the announcement? Just find it weird that none of the bands have mentioned it.
This is my first time buying merch and I'm still in high school so I'm trying to find some merch that's appropriate for school. Some bands I like are Lorna shore, Chelsea grin, drown in sulfur any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
I saw Cannibal Corpse and Amon Amarth last night, I have to say something about Corpsegrinder’s energy live, it’s like a “Grandfather Vibe” that he gives off.
First off I just wanted to say they sound completely different live then they do studio
I felt as if I was in that Kids Next Door Movie where Grandfather came out and used his energy to change all the villains to an old fashioned type of version of themselves
I really started to get into deathcore around a year and a half ago, and within the last like four months I started listening to count your blessings by bmth. I don’t know what it is that clicked with me with that album, but holy shit I love it. The vocals are so brutal and the riffs are so catchy. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t get enough of it.
I am fairly new to the metal scene. I’ve been to 2-3 shows so far and have a couple more booked. I recently went to see Paleface Swiss (on The Ghost Inside’s headlining tour) and got knocked out cold.. no, I wasn’t in the pit.. as soon as Paleface was about to take the stage a guy came up from behind me and started shoving everyone as hard as he could. A bigger guy stepped in to “deal with him” and I think I got caught between them. I was woken up minutes later by medics. I was told I was face down in the crowd and some guy came over to drag me out and flagged medics down. Nobody else seemed to notice I was down. Is this normal for a metal show or was I just unlucky? I’ve been to a few shows already and haven’t encountered anything like this. I’d expect it from the pit, but I got hit by a stray haymaker in a pack of “casual” concert-goers.
If you haven't listened to Filth yet I highly recommend them. Chin Check, Opp-Stoppers, Stay Gutter, Hell, When Keeping It Real Goes Right and Play Dead are just a few of their bangers. Stay brutal my friends🤘😈🖤🔥💥🫶
I mean i know Lucas is an egomaniac, but i want to know specifics and not sure where to find them. Im just curious what exactly transpired to cause so many members to leave.
Rip to the band too, its probably been beat like a dead horse but it really sucks. I enjoyed their music and shows a lot around 2015-2017.
Name to most brutal, most groovy, most masculine and testosterone-deathcore you know, or name the bands, which in your opinion are perfect for the listening, while you're training in GYM.
Creamed my pants a little ngl
Apparently they have a guest vocalist…. IT IS BEN FUCKING DUERR! I know Ben is on here every once in a while so Ben if you see this amazing job!
How the fuck do they make their guitars and drums sound like that?
every single part of their songs sounds like getting punched in the face and I love it so much
Idk if it was posted here already but it's a big fucking stinker. TLDR: Lucas ruined the band and is surprised that people are leaving him, then lets his ego loose.
While Trevor Strnad was the vocalist of The Black Dahlia Murder, he was also famous for featuring on a lot of other bands’ songs, including some Deathcore bands. What’s your favorite feature of his?
Does anybody know exactly what Casey and Mike do? I've been a seasoned Angelmaker enjoyer and I still don't know which one does the duck vocals
Post your favorite Black Dahlia songs or other Trevor content for the day to celebrate his influence on us all
I'm reading up on the Starland Ballroom venue policies and looks like any camera that has interchangeable lenses, aka a professional camera, isn't allowed by the venue unless otherwise stated or approved of by the band(s) themselves, which is outside of venue control. I have a FujiFilm X-T4 camera I've love to take into the venue if I'm allowed of course. I tried calling, no answer yet but will keep trying. I know it's a huge shot in the dark here, but I hope there's a slight chance someone in the know may come across this.
Full disclosure though I'm not a professional photographer, but I have been shooting for years as a hobby and recently wanted to try my hands at concert photography. This show came up on me at literally the last minute, so I do humbly apologize I know this is all a bit desperate, but I figure if I don't at least ask I'll never know. Whatever happens thought, I know it's gonna be a wild, crazy awesome show!!
