The subreddit dedicated to the American metal band Converge
Converge is an American metal band formed by vocalist Jacob Bannon and guitarist Kurt Ballou in Massachusetts in 1990. During the recording of their seminal fourth album Jane Doe, the group became a four-piece with the departure of guitarist Aaron Dalbec and the addition of bassist Nate Newton and drummer Ben Koller. The band's style blends hardcore punk with heavy metal and they are considered pioneers of both metalcore and its subgenre mathcore.

Homewrecker is pretty easy to decipher using the poem, and I find that nearly every song off Jane Doe has lyrics even if they are hard to find, but what IS he saying in Thaw, especially the chorus.
Anybody bought from them before or have this copy? Was wondering where it's signed and the audio quality, thanks.
I am new to converge, I've heard a couple of their songs and love their sound. I love math rock, so mathcore is right up my ally. Is there a clear order/starting point for a beginner.

Going to update my Converge-like playlist soon so I need some help to fill my Converge-like addiction.
Now I’m aware of bands like Hope’s Conspiracy, Cult Leader, Trap Them, stuff off Deathwish and popular Mathcore/early Metalcore bands like Ringworm, Bane, Etc. and would rather want some obscure/new bands like Riversleem, Helpless and Svdestada. Bands that hits the spot on how Kurt-ish those riffs sounds and structure-wise its very Converge-wise.
There’s this one converge song that I’m obsessed with but never remembered the title because it was so long, recently I’ve lost all my music I had saved and I’m trying to find this specific song. What I remember is that it was around 8-7 minutes long, it started with just a crazy bass and the song had two song titles with it being split with a “/“in the title. Please help!!!!!:)
I gave up Spotify before the beginning of August, and moved over to Tidal.
What did you guys get?
Recently moved, Jane's settled right in
Looking to buy Jane Doe first pressing with brown and white split if anyone is interested let me know because I’m not trying to spend $80 on import fees from Germany for this pressing I’m looking at
Hello everyone! Has anyone heard anything about a new album? It’s been 3 years since Bloodmoon I release but as for today I haven’t seen any updates about the upcoming album, whether about Bloodmoon II or something another. There is also no information about Bloodmoon II on Chelsea Wolfe’s socials. Please share some information if you have any. Thanks!
I need to know who's above me.
I love seeing this in the living room every time.
After watching SWANS’s doc Where does a body end I questioned myself: shouldn’t there be a documentary similar ,regarding Converge? Not saying they were around for the same amount of time but I think their influence in music in general, style and aesthetics needs to be documented in detail. Am I wrong?
Would love to see some cool Jane Doe album arts
Hey! First post. I'm looking for a better photo or official photo of an old shirt I had about 14 years ago. I know it was referenced as being from a Japan tour. It's basically a vulture holding an anatomical heart. It was my favorite shirt back in the day and I'd love to get it tattooed
Buying a frame for this one. Won it from an auction for 20 bucks and I cannot be more happier.
