Reasons
they aren’t scoring anyways so let one of the core guys rest a bit for when the power play ends and they can get back to scoring
he might end up making it a 4 vs 4 which would give the leafs a better shot either through taking a penalty or just being non factor
he actually ends up scoring just for sheer ridiculousness of it (I’d prefer this one for obvious reasons plus I actually really like Reaves)
As the powerplay continues to sputter, the Leafs (6-5-1, 13pts) face the Wild (7-1-2, 16pts) at the end of a back to back. Stolarz gets the start tonight and hopes to add to his 4 wins so far this season. Go Leafs Go!
I see a lot of people saying it isn't the coaches fault, one guy called it a players etch a sketch of pp coaches.
For the people who haven't played hockey it actually is on the pp coaches, it's not on the players. Players do what they're told. Tavares isn't going to put his hand up and say hey coach I can't play Power play tonight. The power play coach picks his personnel. If 5 different coaches run the same 5 players with the same result and don't swap someone for more than 3 games, it is on the coach.
Yes the same group of stud players can't score on the pp but it is on the coaches to realize that and make a change. The players don't make the call on who goes out.
Listen, Matthews is my favourite player… but he’s supposed to be Top 5 in the NHL. He just has not been so far.
He’s paid like it… he should get a bit more criticism.

Who is deciding what ads get played? Every one of them is such a bummer.
Hi everyone,
I’m currently on vacation and have a 2 hour layover in Zurich on the 7th before flying home to Toronto. Any chance I’d be able to get an AM34 jersey in that amount of time?
Thanks for any advice.

Hey! Travelling for work and wondering how easy it is to get a single game, last minute ticket. I’d be passing through next Saturday—which might make it harder cause it’s a Canadiens game. Is Ticketmaster the way to go? Or is there any point in going right to the stadium for late-release tickets? Curious because I’d have to change my return flight. But it’d probably be a fun little excursion if I could make it happen!
Please use this thread to post ANYTHING you want! Memes, photoshops, anything that would normally be removed for breaking the low-effort content rule, is totally, 100% welcome here!
This will now also be the dedicated thread for Armchair GM posts as we noticed that those posts were bleeding into this thread regardless. Is there a free agent you want to see on this team? Is there a player that's rumoured to be on the move that you think GMBT should go after? Are there players on this team you want to trade away? Feel free to post about it here!
Normal moderation will occur, such as watching for personal insults, racism, and things of that nature.
Otherwise, feel free to use this thread to share things like your new jersey, a photoshop of a Habs logo on fire, or a reaction gif to something going on in Leafs Nation right now!
Downvotes are discouraged for the most part, everyone's opinion is fair game in this thread.
Get out there and have fun!

Let’s get on a roll! Leafs (6-4-1, 13pts) take their two game win streak to St Louis to take on the Blues (5-6-0, 10pts) in Saturday night action. Woll likely gets the start in the first of back to back games. Go Leafs Go!
Hi Guys
I'm going to be in the Toronto area between Dec 3-10 and I want to catch your team play. How are the seats in your arena? Are there any bad ones I should be aware of? Currently looking at the 300# sections. Also is ticketmaster the best way to get tickets or would recommend another ticket services like gametime?
Really looking forward to the experience your teams arena and see them play!
Minnesota Gopher fan here that is so pumped to go to the Leafs vs Wild game on Sunday to see Matty Knies play. Sure miss him as a Gopher.
I'll probably post this at the end of every month. As an aviation geek, I figured I'd make it a priority to track the stats of Leafs flights this year. I'll get around to comparing it to the other Canadian teams a little later in November.
Longest Flight: BED - YWG (Bedford to Winnipeg) Shortest Flight: YYZ - CMH (Toronto to Columbus) Most flights on: Tuesday (3) Least flights on: Saturday (0)
Of note, the Leafs flew into YUL but the plane repositioned to YHU for the post-game flight to Newark. Okay, that's enough geeking out for now.
