Any can send a link or website where I can get a custom made leather sheath for my knife
Never really liked the look of clip points but this one really stood out to me, also I'm a sucker for satin/polised DLC coatings.
Jack Wolf Bionic, belt satin DLC blade and purple technocarbo.
Was given this as a gift from a relative. I know it’s a microtech, but would love to get model info. When I googled what I thought might be a model number - 24046, nothing came up.
Any info on legality when it comes to selling this? I know better than to carry it in my blue state lol.
Thanks!
Wow. I actually think I got my moneys worth buying a benchmade. These were $159 at knife center. The aluminum feels extremely nice.
My EDCs from oldest to newest. Too to bottom. Just received the Zaan and Seb today
I bought the Professional Precision Adjust in the first week of it coming out last year.
Now they came out with an elite version that just has a few extra things. Not interested. Oh and apparently that is available starting today.
BUT what I am debating on is the case for us that bought last year’s version. But they want $100 for a plastic case and cutout foam. Thoughts?
Puma 3573 Handarbeit
on of my top edcs the benchmade cla just got a new partner, The Moss, whos gone be tagging along my belt from now on. so stocked i got those G10 scales to match, whatta set!
I am looking to get something nice, and I really like the idea of being able to send in the knife for a sharpening or refresh at any point in the future. I may just end up getting a CRK, but I am personally not the biggest fan of them. What other high quality knife brands offer similar services?
I'm looking for a nice camping/outdoors knife. The Fallkniven S1 caught my eye, but before I pull the trigger, I want to make sure there isn't some other knife out there that I'm overlooking.
So please, do your best to tear the S1 to shreds. No mercy. Give me the best reasons you can think of to not buy it, and instead buy something else (and mention what that something else would be).

First up is the QuietCarry Nine:
I know it's just first impressions and I will have to spend more time with it, but I have to say the first impression is that this might be the nicest knife I've ever handled. The amount of small details and insane tolerances going on with this knife blow me away. The micro-milling on the non-knurled parts of the titanium in particular is insane to me:
Just look at how every surface and edge gets some kind of attention and treatment. The pocket clip design is awesome, the lockup is bank vault perfect, and just listen to this action:

They definitely got me with this one. Even the carbon fiber inlay is immaculate, and probably the most aesthetically pleasing carbon fiber I've ever seen. Don't think I've ever had a first impression blow me away this much. Can't imagine this will be my last purchase from QuietCarry.
I also happened to get my replacement Atom from TRM today:
Unfortunately my recent Atom purchase came with some bad lockbar geometry, so it wouldn't lock out properly if you slow-roll opened the knife. They got back with me super fast about it, and actually immediately sent me a replacement in the mail with a return label to ship the defective one back when I received it. Really impressed me with the customer service. Unfortunately I don't have an image of the LynchNW pocket clip I popped on there when I got it, but I will mention I like it quite a bit more than the stock Atom clip, so I highly recommend checking those out if you have an Atom. Absolutely adore this knife though, and if you were a "buy once, cry once" kind of guy and wanted only one good folder, the Atom might be the knife I recommend to everyone.
Anyway, that's the best NKD I've had in a while so I had to share.
So I’m out on a hike, just trying to enjoy nature, when I take a turn down an ORV road and see this guy going to town on some blackberry bushes with a pocket knife. Like, full slasher movie swings. I stop dead in my tracks because, you know, normal people don’t just flail knives around in the woods.
He finally notices me, pauses mid-swing, and just goes, “Flooded trail.” Then immediately goes back to hacking like this is the most normal thing in the world.
I gave him a wide berth and kept walking, but hey—at least he wasn’t coming at me with the knife.
Attempted to do a bit of cleaning and the leaf springs cried "Freedom!" and departed. Rounded up 5 of the 6 wee buggers. So anyone know where I can get replacement springs or am I gonna have to pay Benchmade's reassembly/parts fee?
Honestly I was never a big fan of this knife, way way too finicky. Got a couple of el'cheapo OTF knockoffs that have always worked no matter how I treat them. Not a real big fan of automatic knives in general TBH.
My google skills have evidently fallen apart, I lost my glass break stud in the wash and damn if I can find a replacement. I see dozens for the 85 but nothing for a 70. Any link would be appreciated.
Thanks, Les
