No selling It's OK to share the things you've made or a cool new product you've discovered, but this isn't the place to market products or web sites. Even the pros deserve to have a place where they can just hang out and be hobbyists again. It can be a fine line sometimes, but try to stay on the non-commercial side of it. YouTube links, amazon affiliate links and any online shop links are not allowed in here.
Ads, promotions, product announcements, giveaways, AMAs, kickstarters, and links to self-owned businesses, facebook pages and blogs will usually be removed. It's OK to promote a thing you love and the hobby you enjoy, but it's not OK to promote yourself or your business interest.
If you've made a knife and you're proud of it, post it. Do not post pricing or ordering information.
Links to self-owned youtube videos are allowed at moderator discretion; on-topic, sincere user content is welcome. Posts are more likely to be removed if they are originate from accounts used to frequently post self-owned links, or which cross the line into promotion of commercial products or of the channel itself. Todays carry.
I saw Strider is not continuing the colab with Protech. Well FOMO kicked in and I went over to White Mountain Knives and picked this one up before I couldn't. I really like the Smokey Grey DLC on the blade.
Pls delete if not allowed 20pc
Beastly little knife works exclusive just arrived
I’m starting my first knife moding project on my bugout 535FE-05.
I wanted a more stable scale compared to the grivory, and I ended up buying a few options. I like all three and not sure which to use.
At first, I could not find a blue which matched the standard crater blue so I went with an army green and really liked the color combo. I would probably keep this one, but I already have a spyderco in the avocado color scheme, so this seems to duplicate that look.
Torn between the blue G10 and the blue anodized aluminum. I think the G10 looks closer to the crater blue but the aluminum has some bronze undertones that I think match the blade well.
What would you all carry?
My best deals are Spyderco PM2 for 50€ (retail over 200€), CRKT M16-13T for 10€ (retail would be around 100€) and the Fox Knives 479 for 2€ (retail for 150€).
The CRKT and Fox Knives were like brand new. The Spyderco had a chipped tip (only a couple mm luckily) that i had to reprofile a bit. PM2 was also really dirty and didn't move very good (after cleaning and a drop oil it was perfect)
I don't really buy expensive Knives new, so i tend to always keep an eye on local sales and auctions. All 3 knives were bought from a local auction site (I've bought some more but these seem to be the best deals i've gotten). The PM2 has been my EDC for 3-4 years now. Love it. The CRKT i keep in my backpack. The Fox Knives lives in my car's glovebox.

I was wondering how they would hold up to batoning and prying till it breaks just a hypothetical shits n giggles . Would the blade snap before any other damage even with their thicc blades? If so what would happen after and would it be any different from g10 scale/scales to full ti????
I have an epic knife coming in probably tomorrow or Thursday if FedEx doesn’t shaft me. It will be the new king of my collection, but I cannot decide if I should open the package with the current king to make it a passing of the crown moment, or if I should open it with my cheapest beater for the pure entertainment of it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Im on the hunt for a good allround fixed blade to use when making a small fire to cook or go hiking for a couple of days. Nothing too extreme. I have a hard time deciding and i want to know if im missing some cool brands and good looking knives that i dont know of yet.
Some knives i’ve looked at are: Mora, fällkniven f1/a1, esee 4/5/6, cold steel srk, qsp bison, ruike jager, buck, Ka-Bar, Za-pas knives, and TRC knives.
Im not to picky about the steel or the price and i guess in this case looks comes first and usefulness second. I want to smile every time i pull it out of the sheath and in my poinion, knives like mora, fällkniven, coldsteel, buck and ka-bar looks kinda bland and boring. Do you know of a brand or specific knife i can’t miss out on?
Normally I’m not one to randomly buy Chinese knives at the outdoor store but something about this one made me take it home. Really well thought out, throws great sparks, ceramic pull through sharpener (lol) and a bit driver. Bonus whistle. I’ve never had to use a whistle camping but maybe someday.
found this years ago from a workplace storage. Just wanted to know if i can find one that doesnt have a bent blade(mine curves)
