Help convince me that a Strider is unnecessary.

I want to love the strider. But the Shaman beats it when it comes to pocket time. Should I ditch the SNG? What would you keep and why?

Henkel knives and King 1000 Wheatstone but not super sharp

I would like to make my Henkel knives sharp enough to cut paper. I use sharpen the knives with a King 1000 grit wheatstone but I can't get them super sharp. Do I need to do something else?

Where can I get someone a nice Damascus steel blade?

I would like to buy my Dad a really cool Damascus steel knife (or sword, but I have a feeling that may be way out of budget)

I know very little about knives, but just with brief research, I have concerns about most of the items out there being low quality. Talks of outsourced production to Pakistan and the resulting piece not being the best, and I don’t want to waste my money.

I’d like to spend a few hundred to get a nice piece. Like something he could put out on display to show off.

I’m in Louisiana if anyone knows anybody in the state who can help me (I’ll drive to the other side of the state if I have to!)

Raven skull maker's mark

Hello guys! As the title says, I'm trying to remember the name of the company that has a raven skull as a maker's mark, I think the knife had a sheep'sfoot blade and maybe looked a bit like the null knives voodoo

Safe to burn stuff off blade?

I own a protech mordax in magnacut steel with a dlc finish on the blade. I cut into some spray foam not realizing it was still wet on the inside. Now there are bits of cured spray foam on the blade. I've read that solvents don't work on polyurethane foam. I was considering just burning it off, but I'm not sure if it will ruin the knife. Just looking for some input or suggestions on how to get this stuff off.
