What should I get next?

What do you think of my collection so far and what would you get for around $150? I mostly want something with a nice steel like s30-40vn with a different lock than what I have.

Why the colored blades?

Why does Benchmade continue to make knives with orange and red colored blades? I just don't get it. I just saw they have a new (I think it's new) Taggedout with Magnacut and an orange blade for like $350. These colored blades make the knife look so cheap. But I'm legit asking, anyone know?

German knife- What is the name of this knife? Check the photo for more description!

I have had this knife for over 30 years, I found it at an out of town knife store that is no longer open. My dog somehow got a hold of it and I am now looking to replace it. It is a solid long black handle with a red oval hole on the tip end of the handle. It is German and says “GERMANY Spülmaschinenfest Dishwasher safe”

Help dating boy scout knife

Just picked this up at the antique store. Stamp says imperial, looks like prov ri underneath as well but hard to see due to wear. Web search would put it between 1936-1952, but if anyone here can help or has any info it would be much appreciated.

Grimsmo Rask code

I got a Buyers choice that I’m gonna use, but I’ve got a Rask curated collection code as well for whoever is interested. There’s some nice ones. Shoot me a message/chat and I’ll give you the link and code.

Will delete this post when someone claims it.

Neck knives recommendation?

Hey all! I'm looking for a small, fixed-blade, full tang knife. I like to carry a knife for camping, hiking, opening things, etc., but I hate folding knives. As things are getting more and more restrictive here about what you can carry, I've had to go smaller with my knives. I'm looking for something in the 5-6" range (overall, so blade 2-3"), and no weird, tacticool, unuseable blade shapes. Just a basic little knife. Also this will be a beater knife, so nothing that breaks the bank. I'd love any recommendations!

When handing out blanks for heat treating, should I give just plain blank (A) or can I start on the edge (B) and then add distal taper after HT?

I love a good convex grind

This is 1/4" thick O1 that I had just retouched with 2000 grit.
