Hi there,
I'm curious to find out if this is possible. The goal is to make a flat strap that's symmetrical.
I like the start to this flat braid. I'd love to end it looking similarly on the other end, with no buckle.
I'm reasonable at backbraiding around something (like a buckle, as shown there), but I'm lost playing around trying to get something that looks similar to that type of start (tapered, slightly rounder) but at the end. My attempts at getting a back braid that takes that shape have been... ugly.
Any ideas or resources on figuring it out?
550 core with 275 accent cords
I have basically miles of Paracord for knife making and it never occurred to me that I can I could just make bracelets for myself when I'm bored. This is my first Paracord bracelet. 7 layer conquistador weave. No joke but I think there's almost like 8 meters of Paracord here.
Gaucho fan knot
When measuring what you need for a bracelet iv always heard 1' straight to 1" knotted for 550. Do you just double this for using 1100? Halp
Still learning. But I like it (and will make one for myself).
Need help identifying this knot!
Hi, new to paracords in general and got interested when I saw a person using them to modify their bag. Does anyone have a recommendation for a non-slip type of paracord? Is there such a thing even? I'm hopefully going to use to add friction to areas where my bags are slipping to keep them stable. Thank you in advance.
I got a set if 550 paracord a couple months ago and some ballbearings to make beglari. Some turn out better and worse but for the most part my most trouble is keeping stuff evenly spaced. Every project I do seems to either stretch the paracord in a weird way or it's way too loose. I videos on YouTube and pictures I see here the persons project seems like the cord is tight but still "full" looking. Everytime mine seems to be a little wonky. Recently I made this dna type thing (picture above) and I think the white looks good but the pink/grey looks really bunched up and bad. How do I fix this issue?
Is it the paracord? Should I buy better paracord or just practice my making? Where would I buy the paracord? What size should it be? Would flat paracord help?
Sorry for the dump, I overthink everything and don't want to make 90 different posts.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated!
What liquid can I use to harden & fix the knots I have braided using paracord lines?
On youtube there was a couple of videos mentioning to use wood hardner.
