Hey fellow knife enthusiasts! I just wrapped up my latest project, and I wanted to share the full process with you all. From forging the blade to finishing the handle, it’s all in the video! This one took a lot of trial and error, and I'm pretty stoked with how it turned out, but I’m always looking to improve.
If you’ve got a moment, I’d really appreciate any feedback—whether it’s on technique, design, or even video quality. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,
I’m reaching out because I’m currently doing some research to better understand the struggles and challenges that beginner knife makers face, particularly around bevel grinding, heat treatment, handle crafting, and finishing. If you’re a beginner and finding it hard to make knives that you’re satisfied with—or you’re just feeling stuck in the process—I’d love to chat with you!
My goal is to help beginners who want to improve their skills and reach a more professional level so they can feel confident in selling their knives and even taking on commissions. I know from experience how frustrating it can be when things aren’t going the way you want, so I’d love to hear more about your journey.
In exchange for your time, I’d be happy to offer advice, share some tips, or answer any questions you might have about knife making. Whether it’s bevel grinding, getting the perfect heat treat, or achieving a great finish on your handles, I’d love to help where I can!
Also, if you know someone who is just starting out with knife making and could benefit from this conversation, feel free to send them my way. I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks so much, and looking forward to hearing from you!
Hello everyone,
Has anyone tried cold bluing 3v? How does it turn out and does anyone have any photos of examples of it?
