Is anybody within the UK willing to take on a commission of a Crysknife from the Dune movie?
Ive been wanting to get a custom fixed blade for a while now but I can’t seem to find something that fits my preferences, I’m looking for a chisel ground blade with decent steel for around 150-350 dollars. Anyone have any recommendations?
I'm looking at regrinding an old Victorinox butchers knife into a usable chefs/petty knife and was wondering if by back grinding I would be getting a softer edge that would dull easier? I was also wondering if anyone has any tips as to how I can avoid this or just with re grinding in general? I'm going to make a Wa style handle with merbau wood and some bob smith epoxy

What is the best way to go about learning how to make knife handles? I am a knife sharpener and would like to expand my skill set. Are there any good books on this or online resources?
Just had a small amount of redwood leftover so I made some killer scales 🤙
I want to do a survey on preferences for handle material.
I am looking to have a custom knife made and have emailed 3 different smiths without response. Is there some form of educate I am missing for contacting knife smiths? What is the best way to get a hold of a smith? Thanks helping out a guy trying to order his first custom blade.
