I hope this is allowed here, but I have a denim jacket with fun fringe on the arms and back. I love it but it's super long and gets tangled and stuck in doors and things. Is there a way to go about trimming leather fringe that won't ruin it?
Thank you!

I have a small project in mind but I want vibrant and longer lasting colors that I don’t think Ecoflow dye can create. I’m thinking of just using leather paint to fully cover the top.
To get a smooth finish, I was going to use the marbling technique but with solid colors. Is that a good idea for making something durable and smooth? Open to ideas and suggestions as well!
Hi everyone,
First time posting here and new to the leather craft world.
I recently bought a leather dye for my range rover from classic-dye.com and even though the match is pretty close, the dye is a bit lighter and whiter than the original leather color.
I'm attaching a couple photos below and have highlighted in red where I placed a bit of the dye.
It might be hard to see from the photos but the dye is a bit more white-ish vs the original dye being a bit more yellow-ish.
I'm wondering what color I should mix to try to match it better. I was a bit confused between trying brown vs yellow vs black
Any guidance would be much appreciated
Any leads for an easy pattern to follow to make leathers corsets or bras?
i just purchased this to seal painted leather cuz i thought it was the same thing as resolene. will it also work to seal on the painted leather? or will i need to go get resolene?
I have roughly 60 stamps that, from what I can tell, most are pre 1962.
1/4 of them being post 1963, pre 1969.
the other 1/4 being pre 1950s.
I also have 2 regular swivel knives, one pen shaped swivel knife, & multiple blades for the two regulars.
also have a Yankee #42 push drill,
a leather roll up carrier for the stamps.
i would prefer to sell as a lot, and for a lot lol but we all know how that goes. I was also thinking about Ebaying them individually but we all know how that goes, as well.
if you want any, or need better pics or have any questions or whatever, I'm here.
I put some feibing pro on veg tan. The color is great and the leather doesnt dry out with the pro dye like it does with other dyes.
However I put a wax layer and the dye still bleeds out.
Ive tried acrylic based finishes before which keep the dyes in but it also makes the leather very rigid and artifical feeling.
Any way to seal in the dye without losing the feel of the natural hide?
