I am self employed making 40,000$ a year and cannot get insurance through my job.

I have been without insurance since September 2023 when my school plan ran out and paying out of pocket for my therapist ($160 per session biweekly) since then as she only accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield and the cost on the health connector for me was $740 after tax credit. I have a different job this year and I’m making significantly less money than I was last year and now qualify for the BCBS plan for $580. I can’t afford that (the 160 2x a month is a TON for me. I am coming out of a SIGNIFICANT mental health crisis and am paying it because it’s cheaper than the hospital. I’m trying to get better.) I’m searching for a plan because I cannot afford the extra $400 a month.

Switching providers is not an option as I have worked with her for 16 years.

Does anyone have experience with something like this? Is it a thing to see an out of network provider and submit for at least partial reimbursement? I was looking at a Tufts plan that says out of network completely not covered. I’m desperate so hoping someone will say “oh completely doesn’t mean COMPLETELY! They’ll still let you see the doctor who has saved your life on countless occasions.

what gas station has the best quality? I usually go to Exxon/mobile because I have the app, but I hear shell is much better and cars cold start quicker when they run shell gas for a while. Thoughts?

Hello, I'm not sure if this is even the right place for this question but I'm running out of options completely here

I bought a 1981 Honda motorcycle a year ago to restore, but the guy I bought it from has no papers because it was bought for parts. The bike is running great now, but I still can't title it. I have a notarized document stating the history, a VIN verification by the police, bill of sale, everything except for a previous title/registration.

The problem is that the first owners of the bike never canceled the title, so they RMV still technically has a "valid title".

Is there any possible way I could get a title and registration for this bike at all, or am I stuck with a bike that runs but I can't ride ever?

Hi everyone. I'm 21 years old and a full-time college student with only a part-time job. When I was 19, I stupidly hooked up with an older (by 4 years or so) ex-coworker without a condom. She got pregnant and we're both sure it is mine, though a paternity test will be done soon presumably. She's recently applied for benefits and child support, and I just received my letters from the DOR saying the case has now been opened.

I'm honestly scared, but reality has set in for my future. I just wanted to hear from you all about any tips and suggestions to help me through this process. Anything is appreciated.

Seriously over 30 emergency, mostly police vehicles and helicopters near Lahey Hospital in Burlington lining the road. One whole half of 95 blocked off! What is going on??

Voting just finished and was approved just shy of a 2/3rds majority. There were two other articles looking to address override needs in 2026/2027 to avoid doing this again which required a 2/3rds majority vote. Those just barely failed.

I received a letter from MA DOR yesterday, stating I won lottery money last year and they adjusted my tax return to show I now owe them money. now I have to prove I never played nor received lottery winnings. wtaf? anyone else getting reamed?

I am new to MA and plan to go to Wilson farm for tulip picking, it’s too far from where I live so I was wondering if I can pack some food and take with me for a little picnic? I know they have restaurants over there but I would prefer taking my home cooked food. Is there a a place in Wilson farms where I can have my picnic and moreover do they allow it?

One of our family friends committed suicide recently and left a wife and two young kids (under 13). Now the family has half the yearly income and a long road ahead of them. We are helping with finances for the time being, but what outlets does she have for assistance programs? What are her long term options? Also, is there a type of free counseling for her or her kids if needed?
