So im taking principles of bio 1 lab, and my professor is Dr. Yang. Since labs haven’t started yet, he made us watch his pre recorded syllabus, and made us take a quiz on it at home. But this isn’t the problem.

In his blackboard announcement he said that on Monday, the day my lab is, we will have a quiz on the Lab Manual, and we will have to show our notebook in which the procedures are. But the problem is there are procedures that go from A-I in this lab, how the fuck are we supposed to fit that in one page? If you look at his example notebook entry, it would be impossible to do all of that.

And to make things worse since I haven’t even been in the lab (neither the recitation nor the lab) I haven’t even met anyone in my class to ask this about. So I scheduled a meeting with my academic advisor, because I don’t know who else to ask about this.

Anyone know the dining hours at fox during the weekdays/weekends? More specifically when they transition from breakfast to lunch, and lunch to dinner. Thanks!

Hey I’m a first year here and I particularly enjoy playing rocket league. I’ve never had the space to buy a PC and didn’t wanna buy one specifically for my dorm so I stuck with my PS5.

This means I have to register and play on the UML Public Wifi instead of the eduroam one. I know both are regularly shitted on but still.

I was wondering if y’all had any tips to deal with this? Just anything to make it more bearable. Rocket league is one of those games where if you play with more than a modicum of lag, it becomes nearly unplayable.

Hello, I’m a freshman majoring in computer science. Right now I have computing 1, but I saw that there was honors computing 1, taught by dr. Adam. I was wondering if any of you guys had experience with honors computing 1 or if you guys know any different between the regular and honors. I don’t know much about C, which is what we’re learning and I know some python but I wouldn’t consider myself fluent yet.

I need to take a semester off for medical purposes so I withdrew before classes even begun. It would have been my first semester as a transfer student but I freaked out knowing there would be a few weeks I would be unavailable. Probably not the best time to start classes. I didn't think to contact anyone I just went onto SiS and submitted a withdrawal and dropped my classes.

When I did my paperwork it looks like I checked off no for "will you be returning in the future?" Does this mean I have to apply again, if so chance of being denied this time? Has anyone else done the process?

Never took 5 before, in community college the most I took was 4. My in person classes are from 1 to 6pm today and I came home dead! My cousin is taking 6 this semester. I have to take 5 every semester in order to graduate in two years (I’m a transfer) and probably will take 2 next summer to lessen the course load. How do you guys do it and was there something that you did to avoid burn out?
