hey guys! do u know a parking lot in lowell where there's not light poles and parking curbs so that I can do a donut spin in my car? Or just anywhere in this part of mass. thanks!
I'm coming to UMass Lowell for Spring 2025. I'm searching for accommodation in Lowell. Im unable to find any leads on all social media platforms. If anyone can help me find me a place I really appreciate it.
Now is the time to start creating applications for your summer. Applications tend to be due in Jan-March.
STEM majors interested in research in apply for on campus opportunities or apply to a fully funded REU's. ,SURF, SURE programs
People looking to work in Health care (PA, Nurses, MED, Dental, Pharmacist, Optometry...) apply to summer enrichment programs
- I attended SHPEP and recommend this program. Other medical schools also have programs such as UMass Chan SEP program so do your research for other opportunities
Everyone apply for Internships, take the CO-OP program class required to do a CO-OP
Hello, I didn't go to UML for my undergrad and am wondering how ECE5830 with Vinod Vokkarane is. What kind of course projects and assignments are there? It's been a few years since my undergrad and I'm rusty on the topic, will that be any kind of problem, anything I should brush up on?
I honestly would love to find a job in Massachusetts it's a great place to live and work. However finding a job can be difficult. We are lucky to live in a massive country without the need to get special authorization to work in another state. Jobs are very competitive in MA. It is difficult to leave friends and family but we can move back when we have years of experience and are more competitive applicants.
Currently a junior in HS (might be down to a sophomore since I'm switching from in person to home schooling). I have a 1.7 GPA currently. My college counselor said I should be a 2.2 or so when I become a senior if I keep up at least a C average. I was wondering if that would be an okay enough GPA to get in? I've only seen 3.0 and higher trying to find people who got in.
Literally my one class next year then Im done
hey everyone I plan to go to mass lowell for my upcoming spring semester and my grades are good I was told that the gpa has to be above a 2.5 and I have to meet the 12 credit requirement but I have this one course that I am currently taking that I might so happen to score a d in if all goes wrong I am confident that I can score a c at the most but it's that constant thought of the d that keeps popping up in my head.
I have A's in all my other classes I am taking 4 courses as we speak right now
I plan to call the admissions tomorrow but I need to know if I score a d I know the credit wouldn't transfer but would that affect my chances of getting in the school even with my other classes being nothing but straight A's I need to know because I am freaking out and finals is after this thanksgiving break I am locked into passing with a c but my professor is so complicated she doesn't explain things correctly even when I ask for further clarification I go to her office hours and still it doesn't make sense I just need to know if I will still have a good shot at lowell because I really want to go I can not stay at this college I am at any longer.
What GPA and SAT got you into Exercise Science:Clinical Concentration. Is it competitive to get into??

Im thinking of dropping a class but am not sure which to drop, i need to keep diffy eq and circuits. I might just raw dog it though
I am looking for an apartment (or room) for duration of my summer internship. I’m a responsible and quiet tenant who will keep the place clean and follow any house rules. Budget is flexible depending on the place. Message me if interested.
is there any place in campus that's always open? i heard ucrossing might be open 24/7 according to a post i saw but i'm not sure if it's still true.
Hi to anyone who reads this. I'm just doing the smart thing of making a public post about this, but my moped, a green honda metropolitan, was just stolen at Fox sometime last night or super early in the morning. Some time between 12 am to 4 am is my best guess. I parked it at the motorcycle parking section at Fox and went to my dorm for the evening. Came back in the morning to take it to go to class and found it missing. Called, inquired with the police to see if it was towed. And it wasn't towed. Therefore, it was stolen.
I believe just making this will help raise alarms and awareness and whatnot to really help me out with tracking down my moped. So please, if anyone sees a green honda metropolitan anywhere here in Lowell, just around, please DM me.
Thank you.
I’m going to a pretty big college right now in florida but i’m unhappy here, i got accepted for spring into the honors college and am thinking of going because i have a lot of family in mass, and love boston. I’m worried about transferring because i don’t really know anything about uml and won’t know single student there.
is UML a commuter school? or will i still get the “college experience” there?
How does housing work for sophomores/what are the best places to live off campus?
Should i bring my car?
What’s the social scene like? frats, clubs etc..
Also got accepted to dartmouth, which school is better?
Will it be hard to make friends as a 20 year old sophomore transfer student?

I am considering a master's degree in finance at UML as my professor got her PhD here. I am out of state, with a 3.6 GPA and around 650 GMAT. And I'm going to sit CFA L1 in Feb 2025. Is there any chance I can get the admission?
Also, I want to know more about the learning experience at UML. Is the program hard to complete? How updated and field-relevant are the materials and assignments? Is there any scholarship for international students?
It'll be great to hear from the seniors.
Yall I have to take A&P 2 Lab next semester and was wondering if yall know who I should take for this class. I checked rate my professor but none of the reviews were for a&p 2 lab!!
Donde carajos se baila bachata?? Quiero bachata.
How's the social scene here? Frats? What are the most popular bars?
hey guys im a high school senior right now from out of state and my friend from in state is worried about my chances of getting in so i wanted to ask for your guys opinion and if i should submit my sat score thanks!
gpa: 3.0
sat: 1160
no aps and no honors
also my friend wanted to ask about what food you guys like around there and any recomendations
Noticed a lot of people rescheduling tests and taking them in the testing center if they are unprepared or can’t take the test at the scheduled date. a friend of mine used his phone while in the testing center, and I’m wondering how often people are caught for stuff like this.
I need to park my car for like 4 hours on Friday on east… where can I do that without a pass and without getting a ticket? Lmk thanks!
I used to live there when I was an on campus student back in 2015. What’s the state of the ICC? It was a pretty sweet dorm for upper classmen since it was located in DTL. Not so great for freshmen though, being isolated from all UML campuses.
I went to east dining a couple weeks ago and there was no ice do they have ice now?
Update: I went there and there still was no nutsing ice
Looking for insight from anyone who's taken either class and which one they recommend. Would also love to know which professor you had and your thoughts on them. Anyone in particular you don't recommend? Trying to figure out which class has the most manageable workload/understanding professor. My course load is crazy for my final semester and I'm burnt out on professors who think their class is the only class we're taking and that we have no responsibilities outside of school.
tysm!!
Is English major good here Thanks
