Has anyone else recently had issues logging into hbo max thru xfinity on campus. I’ve never had any issues until a couple days ago. Uml help desk said I have to go in person to see if they can fix it. I actually was able to log in for one day by using the web browser version of hbo max instead of the app and it worked but now it doesn’t anymore. Anyone else having this same issue?
I'm looking to take a AH course spring 2025 and was looking for a recommendation for a course that's an easy A and won't bear a load on any of my important classes? I already to intro to ethics*
Im currently retaking a failed course and am on track to passing it and getting an A or so in the class. I was wondering if the new grade i get in the class will automatically replace the initial F i got in the class and fix my cum GPA accordingly (removing the F and substituting it with a A)?
Hi, I(female) live in the Lowell area(Westford St) with my boyfriend in a 2bed 1 bath apartment. I am having to move to Quincy for work and am looking to sublet my private room from 15 December till 15th March. The total rent for our unit is $2000. I am looking to sublet my room for $1000 or slightly less. We are also open to subletting our whole unit for the lease duration(till 15 March 2024). Please let me know if anyone is interested or if there are any whatsapp groups I can post this in?
Hey, I am set to transfer into UMass Lowell for this upcoming spring a question that I have is will I still be able to get housing even though everyone has been housed in the fall or would I have to commute?
I want to consider taking this course online over Winter. The professor would be Nicole Champagne. Would this be suicide? I'm a Biomedical Sciences major and just need a SS elective.
Hello!
I posted on the lowell subreddit but figured I'd post here too.
I (23f) am looking for a room to rent in Lowell starting in December or January. My price range is $650-900 per month. I am looking into becoming a teacher in the area and possibly going to grad school at UMass. I'm hoping to find some leads here; I've also posted on Facebook. I haven't been accepted into the UML Black Market group yet and every other group for housing in the area seems to be full of scammers.
Options are roses gine(waitlist and doesn’t fit schedule), abiti adili, thai tran, guangming jing, and erica yankowskas but it’s online
i need to get bloodwork done and was wondering if i could just do it at uml? i don't have the student health insurance but i have bluecross blueshield from my family and was hoping that i could just get my blood drawn if i fax over my doctors bloodwork request/order thing but is it okay if i should fax it to the health assessment lab or do i need to email someone and set up an appointment? please help...
I contacted admissions and they told me to contact graduate admissions. I did both. Emails and calls and have not received any response back as of yet.
I was looking on the website for what the required classes are to get accepted into the program. I got my undergrad at a different school and may not have all the STEM classes I need that would transfer.
I need to signup for additional classes outside of my degree, and trying to determine what classes I should take that would transfer correctly. Their website used to have a list of requirements but not anymore.
My options are Nancy Sullivan, Kunnat Sebastian, Cecil Joseph, Anna Yaroslavsky (on WAITLIST), Arthur Mittler, or Wei Guo.
I'm a Meche Major.
I could take physics with Danylov for in the Fall of 2025, but I don't know If I want to because that my mess up my pathway.
Anyone have suggestings?
Im currently applying and was wondering if anyone has any information on the nuclear engineering program? Are there any former or current students with perspectives?
Anyone have recommendations on finding furnished apartments just for the spring semester?
I’m a 21 yo male junior for context, willing to have roommates but prefer not to.
Im looking to play some drums in between classes at some point and was curious if there’s anywhere I could play. Totally understand music students have priority in most schools and would be okay with waiting/being kicked out.
Apologies to anyone who needed to get approved to post. Reddit somehow made our subreddit "approve only" for posts. It should be fixed now, but shoot me a message if it isn't.

I believe I saw that Spring registration opens October 28th? Do students get emails about making appointments with their advisors (my son is a freshman) to talk about picking classes, or do they need to take it upon themselves to make appointments to meet with their advisor for class help?
I'm a nursing major at UML and have to take one over the other next semester. I wanna pick the harder one to get it over with... what would you guys say I should pick for next semester?
Yoo I was wondering if there’re any pokemon go players in UmassLowell that would be interested in fighting the gigantimax raids this weekend on Saturday the 26th, I believe we can only use dynamax pokemons to fight them and they estimate 10 players to beat one raid with a max of 40 players. So I was wondering if anyone wanted to make a group, maybe on discord.
looking for an easy but not boring elective for the elective credits, preferably related to business
I’m looking to either become an RA or live off campus in a 5 person house to reduce housing cost so I’m wondering if it’s worth it to live off campus.
I have the option to take either Jennifer Zugasti or Min Hyung Cho. My friends say Jennifer is rlly good but she has a lower rate my professor rating than Cho. Ik RMP isnt always do or die so just looking for opinions
I'm anticipating a change in major, and should be taking Calc 1 next semester, however, I did poorly on my ALEKS exam a couple years ago, so I have to take Precalc II to move on. I've taken Management Precalc & Calc, but I'm told I can't use that to pass through the regular math courses. Can I retake the ALEKS exam mid-semester?
