Hello….
So I’m having the most frustrating time ever.
I have a Gmail account and then I have a website for my business and I use mail forwarding so people can email me with my @domain email and it comes through to my gmail.
Lately I’ve had a small amount of clients and suppliers contacting me saying the emails to my @domain email are being rejected with an SPF error. If I give them my direct Gmail it’s no problem.
This has never been an issue before and it’s really annoying not to mention disruptive to my work. I’m not computer savvy so I have no idea what to do or how to fix it. The person who built my website has done their best but still can’t seem to sort it out.
Can anyone explain in simple language what I need to do to resolve it?
As far as I’m aware my spf is valid and correct
How do I stop my screen? It keeps moving and I hate it. I just wanna play Roblox bruh
My father in law plans to buy the HP All in one PC, Windows 11 home, Intel processor N200, 21.45 inch, FHD, IntelUHD GRAPHICS, 720P HD camera w/privacy shutter, dual speakers. This would primarily be used for work.
Is this a good buy? Or is there a better alternative in the same price range?
I need to buy a budget laptop that can handle basic coding, some programs like telegram, and a decent battery life. Any tips or recommendations are welcome!
Its my cousins old pc its from ibuypower and it has a black case with a red rgb in the front please tell me what goes here bc it looks empty and i dont like it
I changed the password of the account and number? what else do i need to change or check???
I’m don’t know pretty much anything so dumbing it down would help.
I though the application was a virus because my mom was getting hundreads of different messages of different logins around the world and i had to do something, i though that app was a virus and thats was the reason they could look into her account. But now i can receive any Email in that account, how do i revert this?
After a botched driver update and an attempted factory reset using windows recovery, my pc now boots into a blue screen right after POST.
The only difference I see in the BIOS is the Windows Boot Manager in the boot sequence is now there when it wasn’t before.
Someone told me they think my windows installation went awry somehow. Would anyone be able to help me with this?
I'm looking to buy a refurbished laptop but am not sure where to look. it doesn't need to be super powerful. just strong enough to run stuff like photoshop, Minecraft & terraria, and some YouTube.
does anyone know where a good/reputable place to look at buying is?
thanks in advance
Bought a brand new Dell 2-in-1 that comes with 2 usb-c ports. I have an existing HP docking station with a usb-c cable that fits well for into an older Lenovo laptop. However, both usb-c ports on this new Dell PC don’t have “snug” fit. Is this a defect in the Dell ports?
I have an Acer Spire and recently learned about AVX2 and how my computer doesn’t support it for Adobe Premiere Pro as I’ll be editing videos on there…any recommendations?
Also, might upgrade to a third monitor, does this slow things down?
Hi all,
Yesterday I was idle in Discord when my screen suddenly froze and went black screen forcing a restart by holding the power button. After restart the display resolution became 150% (instead of my usual 125%). After that I couldn't launch CS2, and my usual 120 FPS games dropped down to 10 FPS. When checking task manager I see the CPU usage unusually high. (~10% idle, ~100% ingame)
Today, when testing out again the FPS remains the same, while the CPU usage is lesser (~2% idle, ~80% ingame). Any suggestions or inquiries are welcome.
My laptop is not able to POST and I need to be able to skip it so I can access data. Is this possible?
Noticed my wifi wasn't turning on, realized something is wrong w the driver (or so it seems). I tried diagnosis and it tried to "fix" it by installing the things it was "missing" and it worked for a bit then stopped working again, same thing with disabling it and enabling it. No idea why this is happening, my ethernet works fine but it just bothers me knowing something is wrong with my driver or my possibly wifi card.
I'm just confused on how to fix this and would love to know if there's a way. It comes on for a good hour and messes up again (caution sign error 10), it makes no sense to me.
I think I messed up my pc by installing a driver incorrectly. I have some questions:
also this is a newly built pc and happened while i was installing windows
also main effect it has is blue screen of death loop on startup, so cant get into windows or bios. Power fluctuations :, usbs turn off soon after powering pc, pc turn on then fans get really fast then fans turn off then go into normal speed.
Ok, so I've had the dell XPS 15 9560 for like 8-ish years now, and I still wish I could use it, but with windows killing win10 this year I'm not going to be able to, and the hardware is getting kind of old and cant upgrade to 11 (either way I'm gonna be using 10 for as long as humanly possible until the plug is pulled, I know 11 sucks but I'm locked into windows thanks to software and my stubborn ass only using windows my entire life, so 11 it is I guess) so I'm in the market for a new laptop.
I'm pretty content with my XPS, I use it as a computer itself- like, I have it plugged into a monitor with the lid down. So I don't need anything super fancy in terms of a screen cause I got that covered with my stuff already. I'm more concerned with it not having the power to actually run the things I need it to run. And also whirring like a damn jet engine and getting hot as hell and laggy af trying to run things. I've browsed other laptops a bit but I'm kind of lost, since all these specs and stuff confuse the hell out of me. I was just given my XPS when I was much younger so I never really sat and debated specs until now. I figured I might as well go to people who know what any of this stuff means and ask, since then im also seeing what broke in a week/actually sucks or is good/is or isn't reliable lol
I use stuff like after effects, live2d and clip studio, which; clip studio runs perfectly fine, same thing with l2d but I haven't gotten crazy with it yet, s idk if it'll start chugging- but after effects kind of chugs- like, a lot. I just dealt with it, its useable, but its the same thing with certain games if the graphics/frame rate settings are too high. Plus when those bigger software's are being used, also rendering videos and video effects, it does technically function, but the laptop gets suuuper hot and starts whirring like crazy which was always kinda concerning, but it hasn't crapped out on me after like 8 years so yknow lol
Does anyone have any good recs for a (dell?) laptop that can run a lot of heavy software like after effects and some games no problem? Or at the very least with minimal struggle/heat problems/whirring?
Or that would serve as a w11 equivalent to what I already have? (preferably better though if im spending the cash... Also does w11 pro have spyware or something? I've seen that floating around and that's... concerning, so id like to avoid that as well if possible. )
I've also looked for something with a lot of ports since my xps has literally the perfect amount and types of ports, but from my uninformed browsing, there's like, no hdmi ports or anything other than those stupid usbc ones? So I guess I need an adapter of some kind :/
In any case, thanks for the help in advance! Cause I have no idea what I'm doing in terms of this upgrade, I need this laptop for school, *actual* work, not just "work", and leisure so I really wanna make sure it can run, and run a lot of heavy stuff well. All help is appreciated! - a tech dummy
Listing from FB marketplace, currently running an i5-7500 CPU @ 3.40GHz, GTX 1060 3GB, GA-Z270XP-SLI Gigabyte, pretty old, but not looking for a crazy upgrade, just unsure since it's a prebuilt
Seller says they upgraded the ram to 32 GB of DDR4
Will probably to upgrade the cpu ay the very least if I buy, just worried since I'm not very knowledgeable on omen prebuilts.
Sorry if not appropriate for this sub. I figured some of you may be able to help me, the guys over at r/GamingLaptops are probably tired of this kind of post.
By the title I mean I want to invest on a powerhouse but I don't want to waste money. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to laptops, it's my first time in the market for one.
I want it to play modern games on "Ultra" graphics for the next few years running at 60FPS minimum.
Also its lifespan is a make or break for me. How long do laptops usually last for? Google didn't give me convincing answers. Is expecting 5 to 6 years of moderate usage too much?
The main thing, though, is that I don't need it to have the absolute best performance possible, I just want my money's worth. If there's a slightly inferior laptop but it's 2500 instead of 3000, I'll gladly take the cheaper option.
What do you guys suggest? Thanks.
It all started with a blue screen of death after enabling auto oc in Ryzen master. I restarted into this over and over, I already replaced cmos battery and resit my ram. If any questions, please comment. SPECS 4080 super 7800x3d 32gb ddr5 6000mhz ASUS TUF b650+ WiFi mobo ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!! Having trouble linking a vid but this pic is what I’m talking about, I press f1 as it asks and screen turns black
Hello, here I am... computer illiterate. Can you tell me what I want?
Price range: 500-1200 ish. Tell me if that's silly.
I will accept any and all advice! Thank you! 😇
No tech experience We have an HP Pavillion desktop that is approximately 10 years old.
Details are: Intel Core i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10GHZ RAM 12.0GB
It has 1T storage which isn't at capacity but it is unbearably slow and crashes all the time.
We have windows 10 and it is not compatible with windows 11. We have Norton 360 and backblaze. We have a LOT of photos and videos and files and this is my main concern for storage.
We don't do any gaming and only stream on our phones/tablets. It is primarily used for web browsing and schoo work. We also have two laptops but I prefer the ergonomics of a desktop.
Is it time to get a new PC? Part of me thinks I just need to delete programs to optimise it but I also just want a new one 🙃
