I’m looking for a good GPU that won’t be too expensive but is generally good. I have an i7-12700f and a 3060 ti currently.
I will give actually price for which i bought the products
Build is not complete yet, hopefully next week i will build it.
Its my first ever build, parts are getting delivered everyday almost everything has come apart from monitor

Please let me know your views guys. Prices are there cuz i want you guys to tell me did over spend or i got good offer or any specific parts.
Ps -
I have recently purchased a xfx speedster 6650xt off of Amazon to upgrade my GPU from a nVidea 1050 ti and
After installation it seems to run worse so I went back and used DDU to uninstall all video drivers "to get rid of old nVidea drivers" then reinstall the AMD ones My game seemed to still be running poorly when there was A LOT going on and while trying to record gave me poor frames especially on overwatch
After troubleshooting more I've come to the conclusion it's either my CPU or a faulty graphics card from Amazon. "Tell me if I'm wrong or can troubleshoot more" My CPU is a Ryzen 5 5600g. I might either be bottlenecking since this CPU doesn't seem to be that good after doing more research or since overwatch is such a CPU intensive game also not be seeing gains there.
I'm debating on either trying to return the GPU and get a different one to maybe better pair with this CPU or just upgrade my CPU in hopes that my GPU is actually good.
I have 16g's of 3200mhz ddr4 ram, idk if another 16 help?
If I chose CPU upgrade what would you guys recommend to pair with my 6650xt
Or if I chose to return the GPU what GPU could pair well "in a similar price range" with the Ryzen 5 5600g that won't bottleneck it too bad?
I ordered the NZXT Kraken 360 RGB which seems to be the in-stock in most places. Corsair is running a huge deal on the H170i Elite Capellex XT, but it seems like this AIO is phased out. You can't find it anywhere aside the Corsair website and a little worried that if something happens I won't be able to find it again. I also don't know how much i trust LCD displays since i feel like they tend to go out sooner or later with the Capella not having one. Wondering if there are any other recommendations. I have a Phanteks Enthoo Pro, but might switch to the Corsair 7000D. My ram and current fans are all Corsair.
I was trying to get my brothers pc working and I keep getting this blue screen with DRIVER ROL NOT LESS OR EQUAL error. It dosent even get into windows before it blue screens. Any idea on how to fix this? Or is my motherboard / cpu cooked?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qQtyfd
I snagged a 3090 ti in great condition for $650. I'm a software engineer and a gamer. Heavily factored in current deals for parts and was planning to pack it all into a t1 sandwich case.
After the pc shuts off suddenly, motherboard's logo lights up but even if I press power button on the case, it does not start.
No indication lights. In that case, it is not my PSU fault is it?
This is my first time build, wanted to stay in a budget somewhat and the build will be for music production using FL Studio, running VST plugins, sample libraries. Also used for editing videos in Adobe premiere/after effects and some gaming.
Here are the specs
CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core 3.4 GHz
MOTHERBOARD ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI || AM4
MEMORY CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)
GPU MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3060 12GB
CASE Fractal Design Pop XL Air RGB ATX Full Tower Black
POWER SUPPLY MSI - MPG A850G PCIE 5.0, 80 GOLD Full Modular Gaming PSU, 12VHPWR Cable, 4080 4070 ATX 3.0 Compatible, 850W Power Supply, 10 Year Warranty
STORAGE SAMSUNG 990 PRO 2TB M.2 2280 PCle Gen4
CPU COOLER Noctua NH-U12A chromax.black, 120mm Single- Tower CPU Cooler (Black)
I currently have the following hardware:
I am playing the newest Call of Duty and it seems like my machine is struggling with the graphics a bit. I have to turn quality down to get the frame rate up.
With that said, I don't have a ton of money but wanted to get a newer Nvidia card like the 3000 series perhaps. My budget is in the $200-$300 range with $300 being the absolute limit and I simply cannot go over that amount. Is this possible and if so, what would you do?
Any suggestions you guys have would be greatly appreciated.
I've been out of the build game for a while here as per the title. I'm looking at a mid tower ATX in the $150-$250 range, and with Black Friday deals I'm not sure if there's anything that jumps out as a crazy deal. I'm in Canada so I'd like to buy of a Canadian company / entity to avoid duty.
If anyone sees something that stands out, could you let me know.
Something like a Corsair 3500X Mid Tower w/tempered glass or Corsair iCUE Link 6500X RGB are some good comparable to the style I like.
###Build Help/Ready:
Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)
Yes
What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
Gaming, photo editing, web browsing, maybe light video editing
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)
I presently have a six(ish) year old Dell TN panel GSync 1440p 144hz monitor that I wasn't planning on replacing, but could replace it with something more modern or one that isn't hardware bound to GSync to open up AMD GPUs.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
$1300 max for CPU, CPU cooler, PSU, RAM, GPU, and potentially monitor
In what country are you purchasing your parts?
USA
Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).
At present, I have:
NZXT H500 mid tower with a 140mm top exhaust and 120mm rear exhaust fan
Ryzen 7 2700X
Prism Wraith CPU cooler
Gigabyte Aorus X470 Gaming 5 mobo
16gb ram (can't recall the speed at the moment)
Rosewill PHOTON Series 650W Full Modular 80+ Gold
Ideally, I would reuse my motherboard and maybe the cooler and PSU.
I'm not sure if it is worth tracking down a 5800x3d or just go with a 5700x3d.
Maybe something like this (obv. the price for the GPU is a bit whacky and it was only chosen as a placeholder). I would also like to change cases to a micro atx case like an NCASE M2 or a Lian Li A3.

I am getting this board(b650 gaming x ax v2) at $185 dollars approx. Is this a good deal or should i opt for any other mobo. Here in my country asrock board is not readily available otherwise i would have gone for this

Please let me know what I can improve in this list or save some money on. Built it of PC Builder's premium build guide on YT.
I would like guidance on if these parts go well together or if any improvements/savings can be made. I would ideally like this PC to last me at least 3-4 years without making changes.
I do not have much knowledge about how compatible parts are with each other. (Eg. If PSU fits in case) and hence am looking for any help. Thank you!
So I'm debating which one to choose between the CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 32GB and the Team T-Force Delta RGB 32GB.
They are both 2x16GB, DDR5 6000 CL30.
I'm planning to pair it with the MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI and the 7600x.
The Corsair is listed at $99.99 but can be discounted $20 using combo-savings and the Teamgroup is listed at $91.49 (using promocode) and comes with a free flash drive.
Any experiences with these? Any feedback is helpful, thank you!

I have some old parts from when I used to do mining that I would like to turn into a gaming and work PC. I’m not sure what are the best PC cases I should look for to fit the parts with sufficient airflow. Hoping the community here can give some recommendations. Parts that I have which can be used
Also can replace any of the parts needed. I also have extra 6600 XT if need to run high settings on games but not sure if that’s needed
I have an old 10700k build I'm updating to a new CPU, given how great the 9800X3D is looking.
I know very little about the AMD side of things, as I've previously always been with Intel.
Is this Asrock board and Corsair memory fine for me? I don't need any crazy features as I don't plan to OC and don't have any expansion cards.

My current build:
I've gotten prebuilts for the longest time because I didn't trust myself not to mess up with a thousand dollars worth of parts. But I think that has changed now. I've seen many youtube videos so I technically know how to build a pc just not any of the possible finer details and what to do after building one. Any tips I should know before building this thing so I don't mess up? This is my parts list if it's helpful: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/t9fm8Q (GPU and ram are from my old prebuilt, already have all the parts so it's non-negotiable, and my pc case is actually the Okinos Cypress 7 it's just pcpartpicker doesn't have that to choose.)
Hi, I just built a PC with an i9 14900kf and the normal voltage when the CPU is not in use is 1.44 and peaks of approximately 1.54, but if I use Cine Bench the voltage drops to 1.2 and a maximum of 1.4, does anyone know why this happens? Is this normal? I lowered the voltage from the BIOS to 0.065 and 1.4 is the voltage value of my PC when I am not using my PC.
I currently have a HyperX Alloy tkl with aqua switches and a logitech g703 but both are slowly getting defective.
Im just looking for some good recommendations without breaking the bank
Hey guys. I was debating building a pc or just straight out buying a pre build.
I want the ryzen 7 7800x3d with the nvidia 4070 TI Super.
This is my custom build - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KkQWRK
however, this pre build I found at the link below has everything I need and it’s on sale for about the price I’d buy the pieces outright… where are they going cheap? Unless it’s just a great deal! Any help would be appreciated
https://www.newegg.com/p/3D5-000Z-001N2
EDIT: this custom build has a 7700 with a 4080 super for the same price… thoughts? https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16883360542
So i currently have a 1070 ti and i will be getting a brand new 3070 tomorrow. I know all about how to physically replace the gpu but what do i need to know/do for the graphics drivers? And if there’s any videos out there that can help that would also be appreciated!
(part list at bottom)
My PC has been working just fine until today. I turned it on and my monitor recognized the input but did not display anything (several times). I checked if it was the monitor by connecting it to another device and there were no issues. I swapped the video output from GPU to motherboard and the issue persisted. At this point I thought that it's probably just not booting into windows, I restart the PC and spammed DEL to get into the bios and it opens. The BOOT light on my mobo is on at this point. I close the bios via the bios menus and it boots into windows!!!? I am concerned if this is a sign of hard drive failure or some other issue and I have no idea if the issue will come back. Help appreciated.
The monitor has also been showing odd horizontal lines for a moment before booting into windows for a week or so, I am not sure what that's from.
This build was finished ~1-2 months ago, XMP not on & not overclocked
Part list:
mobo - B650 aorus elite ax
psu - RM750e
GPU - and rx 7800 XT
cpu - ryzen 5 7600X
ram - vengeance ddr5 2x16 6kMHz
ssd - crucial p3 plus 1tb m.2 4.0
both have similar price ranges, which one would give me the best gaming experience?
Hi there! Not sure if this is the correct sub but I'm getting a bit paranoid.
So, as the title says, just a few mins ago I restarted my PC, came back and my monitor was filled with distortion and weird black lines cutting across the screen. Couldn't really even make sense of this and my only action was to unplug my HDMI and reseat it, which fixed the issue and things are back to normal.
I am worried about it being my gpu dying, but I don't really think so since my build is like a month old, and my gpu was brand new, no open box stuff or ebay resellers. Is there any way to check if my gpu is failing? dxdiag shows no problems (that I am aware of) but I don't think dxdiag is a reliable tool for checking these kind of errors.
Haven't really pushed my card to its limits, hardest I've gone with it was playing Portal 2 RTX for like 2 hrs at most. No OC present either.
I also gotta mention that I'm using an old ass 1366*768 32in display with an even older HDMI cable I borrowed from my original Xbox One lmao. Could it be that these were cable artifacts/age showing up? Is my monitor wanting to go back and meet its creator?
Please don't roast my ass for using such shit tv as monitor lmao, I am upgrading to the AW3225QF and just been waiting for it to arrive.
Leaving my specs in case they're needed and thank y'all in advance 🫡

So I’m a bit confused but I’m averaging around 60-70% usage of GPU and CPU but I’m playing Fortnite and get an occasional choppy lag. GPU temp around 55-65 and CPU around 70-80.
GPU is 4070 ti CPU is i7-11700F 16GB VRAM 500GB SSD
Not sure why this happens? Maybe it’s Fortnite being poorly optimized?
Hi folks,
Looking for some assistance on my recent build using the i4900k. My temps on Cinebench are hitting high 90s when doing the multicore test (single run).
I got an "Out of memory when trying to allocate a rendering resource..." error while trying to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. After some investigation I followed some advice on YouTube about disabling ASUS MultiCore Enhancement and set it to "Disabled - Enforce All Limits". This got rid of the memory allocation error but after about 45 mins of gaming the game crashed with temps going up to 100c
I've tried different an speeds on the iCUE Link Titan 360 but still getting high temperature spikes when gaming. GPU Utilization is 98% and CPU around 21% when playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 with high settings.
I've reapplied thermal paste to ensure there was full coverage but no change. Are spikes of 100c when gaming, normal? < probably not. Any thoughts on how to proceed?

So I am replacing/upgrading my M.2 and I already have my OS on a thumb drive, but my old one has an AMD folder on it with drivers and such (if I need to send some pictures I will). Is that something I should be worried about? Will my gaming pc run just fine still? Sorry if it is a noon question. I am just highly unsure and I want everything to work fine! Sorry if I didn’t explain it well,Thank you in advanced!!

I'm purchasing the $399.99 7600x3d microcenter bundle in the next few days (I don't think it's getting any cheaper right now). I already owned the MSI board (gift), but the bundle comes with an asus tuf gaming b650 plus wifi am5. I'll have 2 mobos, which should I keep and why? I'm offloading the other on ebay.
The SSD and PSU are Black Friday dels, sitting in my cart. The rm750x sold out quickly, so I just bumped up the wattage.
Are there better deals that I may be missing? Have I made any errors, missed a better deal, or made bad picks? I'm mainly a gamer. Thanks in advance.
My initial goal was $500 (CPU, RAM, PSU, SSD), maybe slightly more. I think I'll be close after selling the spare mobo.
https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/GrrYpB
My budget is $1350CAD. Will use the pc primarily for gaming and rendering, but might try some other stuff on it too like programming. I would also like some case recommendations as I don’t think a white case pairs well with a black graphics card. Also have other questions, like
I currently use a cheap office monitor that only has DVI and VGA ports, and can only output 1080p 60hz. can I get away with using an adapter and saving up for a newer monitor in the future? Or is it better to cut into my pc budget and purchase a new monitor right now? If so, what type should I get?
How important is activating windows?
Thanks, I’m pretty new to pc building so much help is appreciated.
Hello everyone, I need your help with these components:
Motherboard: ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI
CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X o Ryzen 9 7950X
RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 96 GB (2x48 GB) 6000 MHz CL30 Intel XMP iCUE (CMH96GX5M2B6000C30)
SSD M.2 PCIE 1: Crucial T700 1TB Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD (CT1000T700SSD3) (Operating System)
SSD M.2 PCIE 2,3 y 4: SAMSUNG 990 PRO SSD 4TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 (x3)
SSD SATA 1: Seagate FireCuda HDD 4TB Internal Hard Drive HDD - 3.5 Inch CMR SATA 6Gb/s 7200RPM 256MB (ST4000DX005)
SSD SATA 2 y 3: Seagate BarraCuda 8TB Internal Hard Drive HDD – 3.5 Inch Sata 6 Gb/s 5400 RPM 256MB(ST8000DMZ04/004) (x2)
SSD SATA 4: Crucial MX500 4TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD (CT4000MX500SSD1)
I chose these components based on the comments on reddit and amazon, I also have the following questions:
1.- Will I have problems using an old motherboard with a current processor?
2.- Will I have problems using XMP RAM on an AMD board?
3.- Is the Seagate BarraCuda 8TB Internal Hard Drive HDD worth it? It is currently very cheap.
4.- Does the ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI board share bandwidth with the M.2 PCIE slots?
The use of the PC is for productivity (server virtualization, web, desktop and mobile application development), little for games.
I look forward to your comments.
Thank you
