I have recently started to read books from Warhammer and Warhammer40k universe. I read “Blood ravens omnibus” and several “Gotrek and Felix”books (book 5 atm).
I read that after change of author, quality of Gotrek and Felix goes down.
Can you recommend me other good books to read from Warhammer or also Warhammer40k universe?
Thanks.
Hey everyone, sign-up for Warhammer+ is currently blocked in Canada, and when we’ll be allowed is unknown (thanks Quebec). Curious if any Canadians have tried signing up when out of country? Currently in the EU so I have access to the sign-up page, just don’t want to spend the $100 to find that I can’t get the minis sent to me. Have heard some people with VPNs had success while others didn’t. Hoping to get some clearer answers. Thanks!
I’m finally starting to get some squads done and it’s been really motivating. I’m hoping to get a decent sized force painted and in games by the end of this year.

Can someone help me ID this miniature? Retribution?
I want to preface this by saying that I have only read a few books and couldn't find anything online.
I was reading about the iron hands and nowhere did it say the astartes were significantly weaker after bionic parts were added leading me to believe that the biomechanics are close to the strength of a space marine. would this possibly mean that robotic space marines could be created. or that more people could become space marines such as skittari or human adults and women.
I apologise in advance if I missed some massive dumb thing that almost everyone knows but I'd genuinely like to ask for my homebrew chapter
Its gun has a skull on it, so it def feels warhammer-y...
Trying to figure out who this bad lad is, Can anyone help?
So I recently got the stormhawk interceptor, and I'm going to be building it into the stormtalon. I'm wondering if it's possible for me to build it with the stormhawk wings since I'm not a huge fan of the tiny little rotors for the base stormtalon.
So for a custom chapter I am making, I’d want help picking a main color for them (I’d buy any paint if I don’t haven’t, (I won’t do pink/purple/yellow as a base since a good bit of accents might be yellow/gold,))
Chapter would have an Deathwatch type recruitment/ “unknown primarch” (probably Rogal Dorn or Robute gorillaman)
One interesting would be that they would use manly firstborn marines (or just small primaris marines)
The chapter would be named “Knights of Valhalla, and would be very “mobile fort” focused. Their Neophytes would get full armor, and full on battle brothers would get the Indominus pattern terminator armor. (I am aware the next part would make this chapter more costly then cleaning Vulcan down with wet wipes) the chapter would attempt to turn all members into dreadnoughts, if they have a chance at life, get are made into dreadnoughts. Some veterans who survive 200-300 years of service would be given the option to be intered into a dreadnought (I heard the custodes get a choice like that, so it doesn’t seem too batshit crazy) The chapter would also do everything in their power to extend the mental life of their dreadnoughts (ie not go insane)
Chapter would probably be fleet based but have several homeworlds to supply their massive cost
TLDR: chapter that really fucking liked terminator armor and dreadnoughts
But for the base color, I can’t think of a good one, so any suggestions?
Hello Warhammer fans and expert. Im putting together a costume for an Averlander halberdman (halberdier?) for a big LARP (Krigslive), and Im interested in putting purity seals on my armor. I am however a unfamiliar with much of the warhammer universe. I have seen some people make art with purity seals relating to warhammer fantasy characters, but as I can see online, it seems to be a mostly wh40k thing? Would purity seals be fitting for a footsoldier in warhammer fantasy? The game takes places chronologically around the time of Marius Leitdorfs death.
Secondly, I have seen different symbols on the wax seal itself. Apparently the cult of Sigmar has one with twin comets. I have also seen symbol with skulls and Fleur-de-lis. What symbol should I go for, or does it even matter at all?
Thank you :D
I picked up Gladius when it went free last year and never really understood it (or had any fun with the ai) I was hoping to find some more experienced players willing to play a game showing me the basics. I wouldn't mind the friends regardless if we played anything else similar
