So I've been playing AT for about 6 months now, went with legio mortis as my main legio, I've enjoyed using the mandatum maniple (I love warhounds and warlords). For 1750pt, what's your go to maniple/unit composition? I play rule of cool 99% of the time, so doesn't have to be optimal!
After a slew of purchases (no regrets?) this is where I'll be starting out with my AT forces:
1 Ranged Warlord (battleforce box)
1 Melee Warlord
1 Warbringer
3 Reavers (Battleforce box and starter box)
4 Warhounds (battleforce box and starter box)
2 Cerastus Lancers (starter box)
1 Cerastus Acheron/Castigator sprue (so one of each).
I can't imagine every really needing more than that for a good long while, but I'm still wondering what else to consider and possibly grab. A third Warlord for an Extermigus? a Warmaster because why the hell not? Or maybe a Sinister upgrade for one of the two Warlords.
generally speaking I've been leaning towards building my own Legio so I'm not trying to match colors, but ruleswise Atarus as been calling to me for Voidbreaker missiles and the Legio of One stratagem (what do you mean I have an Extermigus Warlord in my Axiom?).
Anything I might be missing?
Looking to put together a Warlord Sinister Psi Titan, and I'm curious what people suggest as a good loadout? I love my Apocalypse Launchers (especially in Atarus), but there's a part of me that would really love to just take some of the less common or esoteric weaponry just to make the titan look a little more interesting as a one-off centerpiece.
With that in mind, what would people suggest? is there a good combination of wargear that would suit well with the Sinestra to turn the Psi-Titan into a good all a rounder (ignoring the fact that it's already an overdramatically OP piece).
Hi, I'm wanting to start Adeptus titanicus but I've got zero clue where to start and what items to get beyond a game mat and possibly a box of warhounds (I don't know if they're good or not, I'm coming from 40k and just always wanted a warhound)
From the very Forges of Mars I present to you another pieces of my modest collection. Hope you guys will like it!
1,750 battle rating
Warhound 1
Warhound 2 + 3
Dire Wolf
Reavers 1 + 2
Are there any conflicts here? How does the list stand for melee, anything I need to change or should? Thanks!
Another piece from my #adeptustitanicus collection, enjoy!
It could sound as an unpopular opinion but Traitoris Legios' colour schemes are WAY better than Loyalists' one. What do you guys think?
Hi all,
I have a random question, I think I know the answer but thought I would ask anyway. For Legio Solaria I can swap reavers for warhounds, with Dire Wolf titans I can swap them for optional warhouns. In a maniple can I swap a reaver for a warhound and then swap that for a Dire Wolf?
Hey all, just wondered what people's thoughts were on maniples focused towards close combat rather than ranged warfare.
Some ranged weapons would be present, but everything would require at least one close quarters style weapon, ie Arioch claw, Reaver chainfist, Ursus Claws etc etc.
I'm still getting my head around what works and what doesn't, but overall I'm looking at a custom legio without being that guy lol.
Thanks in advance!
Lucius pattern Warlord, joins the ranks.
So I was considering this; a very basic Axiom can fit 5 Titans and 2 Cerastus, but you have minimal room for bells & whistles. 2 Reavers, 2 Warhounds, 1 Warlord and 2 knights.
If you can't afford to take the fancy wargear, or really much of any... would you skip the Legio and trade in the trait to keep 2sp from your opponent?
Warlord (Plasma, Apoc, Volcano, Gyros)
Reaver (Apoc, Gatling, Volcano)
Reaver (Melta, Fist, Vulcan)
Warhound (Plasma, Vulcan)
Warhound (Plasma, Vulcan)
2x Lancers
1750 exact
I am interested in this, to be honest. I know that people have vast collections of titanicus and, by and large, most players own at least twice as much as they regularly play. It is not the "look at my collection" post.
I will start: One Warmaster (and second, melee option, on the way). Three Warlords. One Warbringer Nemesis. Two Reavers. Eight Warhounds. Four Cerastus knights. Twelve Questoris knights.
When I collected, I tried to make it so every non-warhound titan has at least one warhound and at least two knights of any variety. So far, I am sucessfull and happy with my collection - I think, I will stop here. I have every chassis I wanted.
What about you? Cheers.

Thoughts on the list? New to the game and will be playing my first game next week. Not sure what is viable in the game so i just picked what was cool like the swarmer missiles, think itd be funny to just yeet missiles for days on one my titans. Any recommendations or improvements welcome 🙏 idk if i needed a shooty shooty bang bang warlord for covering my light maniciple, but figured I'd go all out on it cuz big robot go brrr.
Glad I got this, nice to add a Lucius pattern to my army.
Warbreaker Inperator Titan
We plan to play a 2500 points per side game this week and wanted to ask whether there is some easy fix to standard objectives to make them more balanced?
When we played 2000 few weeks ago, it seemed that mission 1-2 (one focused on killing stuff) allowed the player to gain almost twice as many points as some other ones.
