The game would have story mode, arcade mode, & online mode. The story would follow the main Shattered Grid storyline, in it's entirety, & you'll be allowed to play as each MMPR ranger. Arcade mode, you can fight as different rangers against another person in a 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3. Online mode- the more you win, the more credits u earn that can let you unlock new characters, suits, weapons & features. DLC #1- PowerRangers×TMNT Vol. 1 DLC #2- PowerRangers×TMNT Vol. 2 DLC #3- PowerRangers×Street Fighter. Would u play it?
So I finished RPM last night and I think it was one of the better written series in the Disney era. I started Samurai and am now 3 episodes deep. I love the morph sequences, the morphers, the concept, the outfits (helmets are ehh), and not to mention the Megazord. Seems like the cleanest Megazord design I’ve seen in a while. And as always, pros come with cons. WHY IS THE ACTING SO BAD AND CRINGE!??! Someone please tell me it gets even a LITTLE better 😭😭
Happy Halloween! I remember in Lost Galaxy there was an entire episode that took place in a creepy abandoned space ship, and the majority of scenes were just guys in Starship Trooper suits quietly going through the dark corridors and were being pursued by an creepy monster that was lurking inside. The monster didn't have any connection to the villains (not that I remembered), and the Power Rangers themselves didn't all appear on screen and had limited screen time. This episode was genuinely scary, and I was very impressed. The end of the episode introduced a book with the Lost Galacta Beasts. I was so impressed by this episode that there is a segment in a scifi novel I'm writing that pays homage to it.
who would you choose and why?
Does anyone know anywhere (in the uk) that I fan get the remastered Billy because I can only find one on Ebay from America for over £100 and it's really bugging me, please help
When Santura is in the healing chamber she wears an outfit that says "8001X". Do we know what that's supposed to mean?
Divatox - Played by Hillary Sheppard Turner in the movie. Played by Carol Hoyt in the first third of the show.
Rygog - Face was altered to remove a few layers of his fangs.
Elgar - Face was altered to give his eyes iris and pupils, and smile was altered to be less crazy looking. Unaltered face still appears on the Sentai footage used on show (and even for less than one second in movie)
It was an older rangers movie, I wanna say late 80s/early 90s. All I can vaguely remember of it was the villain looked like a Jason voorhees type with a huge sword and medieval type mask/outfit. And it might be the same movie or another ranger movie where the rangers combine together to fight him but also fight 2 mutant animals that are huge?
Does anyone know if darkest hour is the comics version of count down to destruction? Because if it is I'm kinda sad we didn't see Astronama in it?!
To use a Transformers term; why do suppose we haven't had any combiners in Power Rangers/Sentai since Turbo/Carranger? The Rescue Megazord/VRV Robo had zords that were vehicles, then robots, then combined into the Megazord. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that was the first, and last time, we had zords like that in either Power Rangers or Sentai. Why do you suppose that is? Why haven't we had zords like this since the late 90s? I, for one, would love zords that are animals, then robots, then combine into a Megazord. Why do you suppose Bandai did it once, then never again?
Ok so as I'm writing this I'm remembering Beast Morphers/Go-Busters. But my point still remains valid. Twice in almost 30 years? You think this would be a gimmick that would pop up more often.
So I see a lot of people in this sub express a wish that Power Rangers had actually used the Dairanger suits and not just the zords/white ranger for season 2.
But I've never seen anyone talk about how that would have affected season 3.
And I think it would have caused some issues:
Changing the suits in season 2 would have established the idea that new zords = new suits. So when Season 3 starts using Kakuranger (Alien Ranger) footage, they would have needed to change again. (plus unlike the Lion Thunderzord which has enough black to be a black ranger zord, there's no way the Frog Ninjazord passes as a Green ranger zord if they keep Dairanger Green around).
First problem is the white ranger being the leader would have a been a problem. Yes they can edit around that somewhat (they did with the Black ranger with the Space Rangers) but both the existence of the FalconZord and Amy Jo leaving (which I believe the production team knew about heading into season 3) would have made that much more difficult to work around as that would be character who gets a lot of attention in the recycled footage suddenly becoming the newest (and least experienced) on the team.
And while PR has a history of passing off Male Sentai as Female Rangers, I think the skirt on the White Ranger would make that hard to do the other way around. So the White ranger would have been Kimberly -> Kat Meaning for the second season in a row, Tommy would need to lose his powers only to see another ranger instantly become that color (as adam would have become the Green DaiRanger as soon as Tommy lost the Green ranger powers)
And the Kakurangers didnt have a 6th ranger. So someone has to leave the team. Its unlikely to be Tommy, as the main character. It seem likely he have gotten moved to Red here, kicking Rocky out.
Now obviously they also could have also done the "Billy steps aside" thing here and not Zeo, and move Rocky to Blue, but would mean removing both of the remaining original 5 cast members (Billy and Kimberly) from the active line up in the same season, which might have done a number on the ratings.
And finally, they would have needed to rewrite the entire end of the MMPR seasons, as they wouldnt have the Alien Rangers around to start the search for the Zeo Crystals arc.
Anyways I'm curious if anyone else thinks they could have successfully pulled this off and/or what other problems establishing costume shifts with Dairanger could have caused?
Anyone else ship Hunter and Tori?
Description of what I remember of the episode: I saw pink, yellow and some other rangers on a mountain thinking they got the villains but they were wrong the villains where on the opposite mountain and switched a lever clicked a button which made pink and yellows body twitch and made them moan and refuse help
The only reason i want the episode is it holds nostalgia for me
Just back from a successful toy hunt and got some awesome new figures for the collection!!!!
Hi Rangers. I'm a big fan of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers since I saw it first on tv, 30 years ago.
But I've never played any Power Ranger video game, since they're mostly fighting games.
Why don't they make an adventure-action game like Batman Arkham / Gotham Knights that would let us play different Rangers in a big city ?
Or a smaller project like Grendizer : The Feast of The Wolves ?
The Power Ranger video game I dream of would let us create a character, and get involved in events that would lead us to become a Power Ranger, learn the ropes, have a city to explore and fight crime, and involve Zord fights that would look like FFXVI' summons battles.
They could make Rpgs, action-adventure, narrative LIS / Telltale style, there's a lot of potential for good games and I feel like they're totally not exploiting the licence as much as they could.
I remembered a time when I was a kid in karate class and we had to pick a weapon and I chose the nunchucks because the red ranger in jungle fury used them. So I’m wondering what decisions you made that may have been influenced by power rangers
I based the helmet of the Omega Rangers. Let me know your thoughts.
I personally left watching after zeo didn't like turbo not because of Justin but because it was out of my age range.
Years later after I watched space and loved it it was one of my favorites in the zordon era. After mmpr.
